Hey Kiki, Oh my… ahem. It doesn’t show that you hate writing something along these lines. To me, it seemed to flow nicely. This was a huge stretch for you to sink your teeth into. I like how you’ve been jumping in head first into different categories that you haven’t dared to try before. It’s always good to see something new and this was really new, lol. I’m sorry I haven’t wrote back sooner, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything for reviews, but I’m going to be working on that right away. Tonight all I’m going to be doing is reading these stories until I can’t read anymore, hehe.
I would have had my review up a little bit ago, but the site was closed… due to site maintenance, or so it says. Keep up the great work as always!

How are you, sweets?! I'm sorry the site was down when you came. I had bans to establish and backing up to do, so I shut the site down so I wouldn't miss anything. (When you back up, anything new that happens during the process doesn't get recorded). But it's open --for now. :P
Yep, this one is VERY new, and thanks! I was pretty pleased with how it turned out since it's a lot more "together" than it went in my head! I've always liked dark fiction, but I write angst. So this was a fun departure into that realm. ^^

Wow. Just Wow. o.O I don't normally read such... dark or disturbing fanfictions. I like to play it safe, but after reading The Knife of Romance earlier and enjoying it I figured 'hey! might as well keep trying new fics!' Once again I wasn't disappointed! Highfives to you, for writing creepy fics that will keep me up all night!
Author's Response: *laughs* Well, thank ya kindly. I write hard angst in my fictions, not usually too dark. But I started trying it on for size and I found that I CAN write dark when I really want to. It's all learning experiences when it comes down to it. Angst will always be my backdrop, but a little pitch-black sometimes can work, too. ^^

Damn! That was just plain sick. I love it 'cause it was dark and shit. But, damn! Although, this is a fic, there are really some sick mothers like poor InuYasha's. Makes me as a normal mother want to rip the head off these so called 'mothers". Anyway, I'm glad to see you writing again. Take care and I look forward to more of your wonder fics.

Author's Response: Hey La!! Girl, I need to shoot you some mail. It's been hectic, but I haven't forgotten my, girl. Thanks for the review, and I'm with you. Those kinds of mothers are sick, twisted bitches. But as usual, I felt it was a story that needed to be told. It wasn't easy to write, trust me on that. But it had the effect I want -it's dark and jarring.
And there's nothing wrong with a new name. I've even thought of getting one!

Oh my goodness, as dark as this was, it was definitely a breath of fresh air. You absolutely know how to hook a reader and keep 'em there. I loved the initial supposedly sweet demeanor of Izayoi, yet with your awesome subtle yet obvious nuances we knew there was something more wicked within her. Definitely a different side to these characters, I loved it.
Amazing job, as always Kiki. It was a brilliant welcome in my return to reading fan fiction - thanks! =D

I've been stretching myself a little thin -and add work to that- and I've barely had time to write. =/ I did manage to scrape up some ficlets, so I'm happy you didn't run from the squick of the subject matter -means the world to know that you enjoyed it anyway. ^_^ My work season is finally much slower and I'm trying to polish off some of the half-written stuff so I can give you guys a proper update. this fic... *shakes head* i thought for some reason sumn had happen to his manhood physically for some reason O.o but when it showed him getting raped as a child from his own MOTHER!! *weeps sadly* that sucks >.> and the worst part is that his wife is the one suffering when all she want to do is love him to the fullest.

Author's Response: Hey, trust me, I'm not one of those authors that ignore/disregard a review if it's not a novel. I'm happy with whatever my lovelies say, even if it's a simple "update soon", so thank you very much! ^_^ And there are no immediate plans for any kind of sequel like that yaoi one. This one kinda says all that I want it to say, and I know that if I add on, it won't remain dark (and we can't have any of that, right?? xD).

Wow. You definately reached to the darkside of my mind. It's kind of like an ambulance passing, you don't want to look to see which way it's going, but you have to....you don't want to admit that this darker side of humanity intrigues you, makes you want to see more about it, learn more about it...understand it. (You is just generalized here--talking about myself too).
I love the last line. That just clenched it for me. It ended the story perfectly. =)
Author's Response: Sheena! You captured it perfectly. That's exactly what I was doing. It's that train wreck you can look away from, and you know you should, but you can't help it. I've just been kinda "going there" lately with stuff that I normally don't write about and I must admit that I'm having fun exploring that side. So thanks *hugs* for reading and leaving your mark. holy fuck$%$##$%$3 this fic is fanatical!!!! You're stuck between the wrongness of these words and in complete awe of how someone had the guts to write this. My god, I'll definitely be following this story. Even if my morals don't want me to, who cares? whoever listens to morals all the time anyway? hahaha, I'm glad you've tapped into a side of you're writing that is darker and I can see that you're really enjoying it ;p
I don't tend ususally to swing towards these fics but I can't help it. It's Kiki...simple as that^_^
I really hope Kagome has a good role to play, as much as Inuyasha has a ....'deep connection' to his mother, I really hope that those two figure it out and fight his demons 'yup and Inu/kag lover always' lol take care ,okay? How's everything going in life outside of writing?
Author's Response: Paw Print!! Thanks for giving this one a shot. I know it's hella dark (and damn right I had the guts to write it! xD), and most people won't want to go there, but I'm glad you did. I'm working on my normal stories and hoping to get something up in the next day or two, but this one was just eating at me to post it. So, I did! And you liked it, so, hell yeah! :D
Things are good, tiring, but good. (Thanks for asking! *hugs*) Work is finally slow, so I can finish up the chaps I've been putting off so long. The FA awards started yesterday, but regardless, I'm determined to get my updates going. I actually miss writing so I'm hoping my inspiration lasts! How have you been? Did you have a good summer?

Author's Response: Nikkie!!! <3 Girl, you flatter me. All I did was dig into a subject that was pure angst and different (for me, anyway). I didn't want the abuse to be so... stark? I wanted a metaphor that added just the right amount of creepiness and I feel like I found it. But I'm so glad you liked it and it didn't squick you too badly. I know many won't want to read such things, and I don't blame them. However, I must write what comes to mind and this was it. Gah! I totally creeped myself out with it, too, lol.

I remember this! You did good girl. Thumbs up! I agree 100%. The fact that you went there no matter how uncomfortable it was for you proves what an accomplished writer you are and you will only to continue to grow as such.
Author's Response: Thanks, mah sistah!! <3 This was definitely uncomfy. That rough draft I did months ago was to be a full fledged oneshot, but I dropped all of the background and made it a bare bones ficlet. Not easy, but worth the discomfort in terms of expanding my horizons. xD
