This was such an amazing chapter to relax with. I've had a long week and I was eyeing the update alert for so so so long but I had to stop myself from clicking it. I just had to learn to work now.

I totally understand the "work before play" leash -I have it, too! It's sooo hard to put away the stuff we enjoy and do what needs to be done, ne? But at least you liked the update and it was something to relax with for the weekend! I'm working on another chapter from a fic that hasn't seen love in ages, so wish me luck. I've decided to not just concentrate on the really popular fics, but everything that is incomplete (and not on a permanent hiatus) just to get my juices flowing gain, overall.

I knew you'd like the layout. I went with a really "kiddie" feel since Tamiko is such a big part of the story. And I just love what my artist did with InuYasha and his super sexy glasses. Totally yummy, he is! This chapter was definitely hard to pen -fluff always is- but I'm determined to stop letting it yoke me! I'm gonna write that fluff, good or bad, until the damn stories are done! XD

And thanks for asking about my friend. He's the same, but he's getting around a bit more and feeling better. He'll be seeing the doc soon; that's when we'll be able to get a real assessment. Keep your fingers crossed! <333

barbies.... my daughter's barbies had interchangeable heads because her little brother beheaded them all (i always thought her neck was so impossibly long, but kyrie's barbies had normal length necks because you have to jam the head down on the neck so it stays)... she was only perturbed with him at first but having interchangeable heads is a pretty nifty ability.

poor boy doesn't know the meaning of moderation... and it's obvious he's not used to being around kids and is totally vulnerable to their powers. lol

loved the end there, little kids take things so literally and a lot of time they know perfectly well what they're 'misinterpreting' and do it on purpose, just for the fun of it and to frustrate the 'big people'.

And yesh, Tamiko is a cutie patootie who is a little more aware than she lets on. But hey, being cute gets a kid a LOT more toys in the long run, eh? XD

And I'm so happy that you like my little OC. I patterned her after some of the little girls in my life. Kids can be so sweet and endearing, so that's what I'm trying to show with Tamiko. I also want to establish the relationship she has with each adult. They're similar, but they also differ in some ways -you'll see more of that in feature chapters. One thing is for sure, though. She adores InuYasha. :D

My friend is doing better, but he's not totally out of the woods. It's still a week by week thing, but the prayers and well wishes are appreciated. <3 I've been writing and trying o get stuff out as soon as possible (3 updates in a month is GREAT for me, lol). But after I get this first round out, I'll be dropping by the editing office again. 0.~
