Great chapter, I know this isn't the updated chapter, but I haven't started reading this one for some reason. It's great so far!

MORE!!MORE!! MORE!! I was bummed when I got to the end, and there was not another chapter. You're so right. This is not dark and spicy like The Neighbor, it is on the opposite, and what I also like, sweet, light, and gooey, plucking the heartstrings. I'm a romantic and the tension brewing and the awesome Lil Tamiko just makes this story wonderful. Thanks! (and MORE, pretty pleaze!)

They're two people who are struggling with both their past and their future. They happen to meet by odd circumstances and hit it off, but they're also afraid to let nature run its course. We'll find out more about Kagome's personal past, and how it is for her to live in Shikon Village soon as well. This one is short, 12 chapters or less, but I think that's all I need to tell their cute story. :)

ok. I should NOT be reading this at work because I'm so close to tears it's a fight to keep them back. This is one of my fav MCR songs. I can't wait to read more of this story. It touched my heart with all the people in my life I was blessed with, and who are now gone.

Arghhh... I knew it! I was definitely going to be craving for more! But i couldnt help myself but read! This is definitely one of your more 'slice of life' and softer stories. I do so love everything you write and this story, is a gem :D

Da Grrrl Says: Thank you very much! I usually do hard drama and insanity, but this -as you so definitely saw- isn't one of those. I'm finishing it for a friend who passed away from cancer. It's a tiny tribute, and she got to see some of it before she left this world, so I want to keep the hard angst low and just tell a sweeter story for a change. :)

Ok ok - I LOVE THIS...I had to re-read the whole thing baq then but w/e - i love it.

I tore me apart in the beginning from seeing how Inu lost Kikyou. It's the painful truth - how one thing can be so good and just like that... that person you love could be gone before u know it. argh.

Again, one of the things i love about ur stories is the reality in them. But I nvr said this - it's also what i hate sometimes =/. Some stuff u write - it tears me up alot, and that's mostly due to if i've been through it. Like the time with my uncle - one day he was good then he went hospital and we found out he had cancer - which he kept from his family

Tamiko is just precious! I cannot wait to see how this story progresses!!

okay, wait, that was possibly the cutest thing ever. (i'm glad you're feeling better bb. late, but.) 

First, yeah the Wicker Man is really freaking weird and creepy. Second, awww Tamiko sounds so precious! I love the instabond she and Yash have. That'll work out with Kagome later on I'm sure! I kind of like that we have a balance between Inuyasha and Kagome in that they've both had some sort of previous relationship too.

Wow that was depressing. The complete anguish he feels is heartbreaking. To have to watch the person you love wither away and have everything taken from them, before they are finally taken from you, is unbearable. How he feels about the words of comfort others try and give him is exactly how I felt when I lost a loved one. You did a very good job of setting the tone of Inuyasha here. His entire world is gone and he has nothing left. Poor Inuyasha :(

Tamiko is the best xD I love how she parrots only the most embarassing things Sango tells her about her mom in front of IY. Reminds me of Little Man and how my brother trying to use him to impress women always worked against him, lol. Though it seems to be working for Kagome. How cute that they mellow him out and that Tami took such a shine to InuYasha. Though I wonder why she's so shy around other strangers and if the night terror's Sango mentioned are connected.

Also, if her Dad might be that prof Kagome baked her special cupcakes for ;)

Cute sisterly moment, there too! I love how sneaky and teasing Sango is, and their backstory - how Sango supported Kagome when she decided to keep her baby and move out - is really heartwarming!

Really great setup and sweet developement between I/K! Can't wait to see where this'll go!
