Awwww I honestly can't believe you like k-pop! I'm actually just getting to know Teen Top haha. I went to their concert here in Canada (if I'd known you liked them, I would have stalked them for an autograph at the airport for you!!) and they are really talented, and their Engrish was too cute! Double YAY for having the same interests in groups! I just don't like 2PM (what with the Jay scandal) and I'm not interested in SNSD lol. But I'm actually a DBSK fan -- the original DBSK, and it tears my heart to see them apart. :( But anyways, great choice in kpop!

Anyways, if you haven't noticed yet... I'm on a mission to read ALL of your stories LOL. I find them so interesting and different than all of the past fanfics I've read. I really enjoy your work, and it's cool to see how you've grown as a writer. I'm glad there's a sequel (and believe me, I'm probably gonna start reading it the minute I wake up later lol) as maybe it will satisfy my heartbreak about what happened to our poor Inu.

Regarding to whether people liked it or hated it, I find myself liking it. And not just because I get to see Kikyo getting her ass handed to her by Kagome (lol sorry, I just really can't stand her, no matter what people say; too biased hehe). I guess I liked it because it showed that true love does prevail in the end. Inuyasha and Kagome went through so much in this fic to just... end like that, so it's good that at least they get to start over in the sequel. I'm really curious as to what happens, but... must... control... self. I need to sleep lol.

I feel the same way! Takahashi had so much potential with their characters, and I was disappointed that they never reached their full potential.. Thank God for fanfics lol. I would go insane rewatching the whole anime and having to watch the same ending over and over. I want a baby Inu, dammit!

I agree with you; I've liked a lot of older animes, but I have never felt strongly about any anime other than Inuyasha. I'll always thank her for creating them too; I can't imagine a world without knowing Inuyasha and Kagome are together, as insane as that sounds. But the fandom is forever blessed to have great authors, such as you, to further what Takahashi never realized. I can never thank you (and other great authors) enough for that. =)

Kevin is sooooooooo cute. I wanna just jump on him and drag him into my secret hideout and snug him like a plushie! Haha!! And Y-E-S! U-kiss are seriously underrated and extremely talented. They dance so much better than sooo many groups >.> and their songs are so cute and with such cool beats... it just pisses me off that they're not getting the love they deserve. But it's so odd because they have a shitload of fans, I kid you not. I think it's just in Korea itself that they get a hard time because they have huge fansites from so many different countries -it's nuts. Their Japan debut was just GOLD. I'm so proud of them. I have every single one of their records and about 72 videos I bagged off the internet of different videos and performances. My entire iPod is like a shrine to them -hee! Even my BFF made two kevin collage videos for my birthday. I proudly hand them in my gallery!

And we're on the same flippin page! HIGH-FIVE! ^5 I hate 2PM now. The songs I were referring to are pre Jay departure. I came on the scene with them well after it was all over, but when I learned the truth, I was furious and dumped them on the spot. "Again & Again" was the second k-pop song I ever loved, but after I learned what they did to our Jay, I cut them off. It pissed me off royally. But he's getting the last laugh because he's a solo artist and doing his own thing and I love that.

ANOTHER ^5!! I liked ONE SNSD song -heard it in passing on a U-Kiss video- but that's it. They strike me as the most stuck up, snooty group. >.> I don't find anyone exceptionally cute and the songs are not good. I don't get the appeal. Now, Kara, I like and I think they're dolls. DBSK -I think I have 10 video versions of Mirotic on my iPod. MY GAWD, that song is so awesome, and for me, it just never gets old. It's really sad and disgusting the way SM entertainment keeps successfully blackballing JYJ in Korea. The corruption just turns my stomach and no one will even speak on it. It's like they're all scared of them!

And I heard about the concert in Canada! I wanted to go to the K-pop concert they did in New Jersey a few months back, but at the time, I only knew a little about U-Kiss and wasn't that into the other groups. BOY, DO I REGERT THAT NOW! I could have seen my Kevin! *wails* I shall never make such a mistake again! (-______-) But I love Chunji and you should give them a proper try. They're really great. (Let me know if you want their albums. I have those, too. ^___^)

Now, IY! InuYasha is the first and only anime I've ever written fanfic for. In fact, he was my first anime. I have never invested as much of my time, money, and creativity in anything (Other than music) as I've done with him. And I know that I'll never do it again. I went through a lot as a writer in this fandom, a lot of negativity and a lot of BS. I still don't know if I can say it was worth it with all honesty, but I can say that the support and encouragement from my readers -like you- have made a very bumpy road a lot smoother, so I have to thank you and all of the others who are kind enough to acknowledge my years of work (and boy, it has been YEARS! :P).

As for RT, I'll always hold her in high regard for creating this series that has had the power to reach all ages, nationalities, colors, and religions, but GOOD LORD, she could have done this a little more justice. A kiss, a declaration of love, a wedding, even (for those who want that), a look into the future where we see kids. Something, ANYTHING, other than that vague, imagine it yourself- ending. =/ It felt rushed, like she just wanted to be free of it already, but after 11 years and all the fans and money, we deserved a little better. That's why I'm still writing. I want to retire. I think my days of really digging in and writing IY fic are close to done, but I don't want to do that to my readers. Many of them have been with me since the beginning almost 7 years ago. Through all the fandom BS, they stuck around, supporting my works, and for them, I'm hanging on for dear life so I can complete the fictions they've spent their time on and give them satisfying endings. They may not always be happy endings, but they will be definitive ones that leave firm closure.

As for this story, I was happy with it as it was. I had no plans for a sequel. But at the time, my readers were howling for more, because as you stated, it didn't feel quite complete for them. So, I gave in and wrote part two. It took ages to finish it -because I never wanted to write it- but those who read it were very happy with the continuance and I'll always be pleased about that. Hopefully, you'll be satisfied with it, too!

I am finaaally back! YES! Kiki, have I ever told you how much I hate college? No? Well, I hate it. I haven't been able to visit Absolution because of all the tests and assignments piling up! /cries. But I caved and logged on today. Hehe. At least I have less than a month of school left.. a few more weeks and I'll be here. Everyday. (Why do I always sound like a stalker? ;__;) To the point you'll get sick of seeing my name on EVERY story. K maybe not, hopefully. I hope you like the upcoming reviews haha.

Anyways, I know this is off-topic as I'm supposed to review your story, but I have to tell you that it's awesome that you listen to U-Kiss! It's kinda hard reading the first chapter while singing to Neverland lol.... but I managed it xD. Do you like other kpop groups, by any chance?

Ok, so back to the story. I know this plot has been used through the IY fandom so many times, but it never fails to break my heart. Ever since I started watching Inuyasha back in 2002/2003 (I'm not sure exactly when), I have always shipped InuKag. They just belonged together and I prayed so hard for them to end up together in the end. It's scary to think about what would have actually happened if they didn't. I think I'd be scarred for life -- well, at least the romantic in me. Kagome's readiness to accept Inuyasha's decision kills me. She's so selfless, and I could see this happening in the actual series that it makes me want to cry (yes, I'm quite emotional, sorry xD). And Inuyasha's decision... it scares me to think what it would have been had Kikyo not died. It's terrifying to think that he would be willing to break Kagome's heart just to spend his life (or death) trying to make it up to Kikyo when nothing was really his fault. Except that they both did not trust each other enough.

I always believed that things happen for a reason, and to me, all of their choices led to Inuyasha and Kagome meeting, despite their differences (the major one being that they live in different eras). If that doesn't scream that they're both meant to be, I don't know what does.

Anyways, great chapter! Looking forward to finishing this :) .. Sorry about the super long review. I kinda got carried away haha. See you when I review again!

I'm totally addicted to them and supa in luv with Kevin Woo. He's my ultimate bias with darling Chunji of Teen Top being 2nd. Guess that answers your question about other groups, huh? :P

I don't like that many, though. I'm picky with my music, but there's something about U-Kiss that I really love. Probably their use of electronica and their smooth, intricate dance moves. My first taste of them was Neverland, so, come oooooon! You know they had me at hello! The beat for that is just OMG-WTF-POTATO-CHIP-TWICE. lol. It's by far my favorite k-pop song and has yet to be unseated. (Though, Forbidden Love is a close second and it's the only song I learned to sing in its entirety). Now, the story! This one is soooo majorly old. It has a sequel, too, that's complete. It was my little testament to canon, a genre I normally hate. I don't want to say too much on how the story goes, but with this story, either you like it or you hate it. There isn't tons of in between. I wanted to play around with the what ifs without taking any of it too seriously, the way canon writers often do. So, it may seem a little "out there" for your taste, and those who thought that, enjoyed the sequel a lot better, so... :P

But I feel the same way. After enduring all we have as IK fans, I would have felt horribly cheated if they didn't wind up together, and in some ways, I still feel cheated. RT's ending for them was horrible. So horrible that I wrote my own little take on it called Everlasting. I'm grateful for her vision and the creation of a character unlike any I've ever held an interest in, but to me, by the middle, she didn't know what she was doing and stretched it out for no good reason, just to give us an awful, vague ending that most people were unsatisfied with (and not just IK fans).

P.S. I will never get tired of seeing your awesome reviews, so leave as many as you like!
