i liked this story i dont see why people didnt like it, i just think they didnt understand it.
Author's Response: Thanks. :) I think, more than anything, people are just too sensitive and can't stand to see their favorite characters in any situation that isn't what they find acceptable/enjoyable. I write what I want to write, and if that sticks in anyone's craws, i guess that's just their tough luck, isn't it? lol. Thanks for the review!

I can see how some people would react negatively to this, but I loved it. Yes, it was uncomfortable in a few places, but that's what makes it so great! Any piece that can elicit that kind of reaction is worth keeping around; I'll admit, I'm curious about the drama that erupted because of it...some people get so bent out of shape. It's fanfiction people...it's not that serious!!!
Personally, I love dominance, and I love when InuYasha dishes it out, especially to a mouthy canon Kagome. XD Come on, she really does deserve it sometimes. And this is DEFINITELY not rape, so everyone can just untwist their panties and get a grip. Great work, as always! ;-)
Author's Response: LOL, you're awesome. ^^ Thanks for the kind words and the great review! He Saw Red, I think, is still my most controversial story even though it was written almost 3 years ago. The "controversy" was... EPIC. LOL. I was hounded, dogged, chased, flamed, torn apart -you name it and it happened. It is the sole reason as to why I stopped posting to AFF 2.5 years ago. And that wasn't the only place. It suddenly became "popular" to harass me over it, and it never stopped. They just decided to go after me as a whole, so like I said, the "Get IG" sentiment was epic, lasting, and still going.
However, there are a lot of people that enjoyed the story, still do, and I will never, ever hide it away. I'm not ashamed of it. It wasn't rape, and since I don't take crap, I made sure I kept it posted and available for folks like you that realize there is no reality in demon fanfic. xD

Author's Response: Thanks much! ^_^ Rapefics aren't usually my thing. I can see adding it to a story if it makes a point, or adds the right kind of horror element, but other than that... lol.

This was good, finally an appropriate reaction from what I see as an Inuyasha that was made to llok macho, but turned reather submissive. I do however wish there had been a little more follow up - but who am I to judge, you're the author.
Author's Response: Thanks. :) This is very old, back when I first started, and I was a little less in-depth than I am when I write now. It's still, in my own opinion, left at a decent place. I've toyed with a sequel, but then again, I've done that with a lot of fics. But if this one ever comes to me I'll definitely revisit it. Thanks for reading!

The last line had me rolling on the floor laughing.
At first I though the characters were going completely overboard but for some reason I can actually see Inuyasha cracking and Kagome still going for it in the end.
I only wonder what Shippo would say after they got back.

That was a bit scary. I for one don't like the whole dominant thing, but I try to keep my reviews toward the writing and not the plot so here goes. I think you have shown us what could be a whole new side of Inuyasha. I mean after all he IS part dog demon and could very well have adopted the ways of a dog pack. You also showed a side of Kagome that could also be there. well written.
Author's Response: lol, thanks, Erin. I write InuYasha from all sides really, and this was just one. This fic, when it was first written in 2005 and posted on MM.org was met with very mixed reviews. A huge number of people supported it and my choice for making him that way, and several people had an issue with it. It turned into a supa-ugly thing on aff.net, and to this day it floors me to see how immature people can be. But I guess it was an okay fic in the end since someone stole it and posted it on ff.net in 2006 -haha.
I appreciate your review because even though you were put off by InuYasha's ways, you support my choice on doing it. That, to me, is what writing is all about. On a side note, I love a dominant InuYasha because I get really sick of the super shy, "blushing every second" portrayal that just about everyone else seems to adopt. I'd like to think Yasha has more dimensions than that, ne? ^_^
