i just found your story. i have to admit that it has captured my interest. i thought that the good-byes were well done. i felt sango's desperation grow with the knowledge that kagome would not be returning.
i think the best rendition of the entire chapter was shippou's feeling of abandonment. the poor child had to see his parents ripped from his life, and now his surrogate mother is willingly leaving him. couple that with the knowledge that he was only ever second best in kagome's heart, and you have the makings for a great rage within the child. when inuyasha does return to the story he will be met by a very resentful shippou.
great story, and i hope you continue soon.
