Big spender Inu! I love that he's enjoying it, but i dont like it. Dude needs insurance!! Save up some doe dammit. I just dont feel good about how he's spending the money - and on top of that, Kagura is selling out her girl and that girl happens to be Inu's bank!
And even though kags is tryna be nice - hiding her richness from Inu - it's still bad and it'll wound Inu... lol nothing is gonna turn out good when everything surfaces!!

Naraku is a scumbag - i hope he gets what's coming to him in a dirty shitty pile of fuck!!! ARGH
and for Kikyou - i wanna like her but she's a bitch - plain and simple. If she could disregard Naraku when fame embraced her, whose to say that when Inu refuse her she wouldnt reveal the bitchified ways she's so use to?
I still think bout Prada when i read this but i like the added angst.
And the honeymoon phase in Inu and Kags relationship is SO CUTE!!! I dont blv in the whole love at first sight or falling in love like what 3 days after meeting someone? lol, but when reading this - am a believer - everything is so realistic and i love how u portray Inu - the raw manliness.
He's real and loyal. But what if he and Miro were to get in an argument? I think Miro said sumn bout dont throw it in his face or w/e - but bcuz he said that I have a strong feeling that Inu WILL throw it in his face.
Miroku is always level headed, weighing things out and what possible consequences could occur - but.. Not Inuyasha SMH.
Can't wait to read more!! Am loving it and eagerly awaiting the development of ALL the characters (whispers: especially Inu and Kags... no surprise there lol) Oh and ofcourse Sango and Miroku - I love how she's the one diggin him

So, I finally got around to reading the new chapter (even though it 's been out since what, late August?) Anyways like always and forever....great chapter!! I think Kags is slipping up with keeping secrets. I just feel that something dark is lurking around the corner....I bet it has to do with Yasha turning off his phone.
Okay so I have definitely decided to visit New York...when my career is in place. My plan was to be a Surgeon but biology isn't my subject. Chemistry is fine but I excel in English and Writing. But I've always wanted to be a musical composer. One of my musical idols is Clint Mansell. He has this piece called Together We Will Live Forever. You should try it out. It's beautiful! Anywho, New York just sounds like the shit! I blame Alicia Keys and Jay-Z for that song! I have to place blame on you too because your descriptions make New York sound like Utopia!

Whoa...Inuyasha and Miroku are sporting some expensive sheeeeeeee-it. :P I'm with Inuyasha...never bought a piece of clothing or shoes over $30. I'll have to treat myself one day when I'm no longer a broke student...but not $1300 shoes! Lawd!
Anyways, cute cute cute! I especially like the Miroku/Sango interection. I've never actually seen Wall-e but I will definitely get around to it one day when I have time (downside of school co-op=summer homework...ugh).
Ooh, what's Kagura up to? And Kikyo seems almost obsessed with Inuyasha. Somehow, I don't think she's going to take to it kindly when Inuyasha makes time for Kagome and is not 150% all art all the time. Great update! (Although I did have to go back and read the previous chapter because I forgot what happened ;) )

Daaaaaaaaaaayum! Yasha's ballin' in this chapter! 5th avenue and a hotel room, too? Very exciting! But as cute as "big spender" Yash is, I've got a bit of a bad feeling about this. Don't know why but my mind keeps comparing this to the Flinstones movie where Fred gets a promotion and lets money go to his head..and the other one where Wilma briefly hides the fact that she's rich *shakes head* He hasn't come off as snob though and his explanations to Miroku make sense. I just hope he holds to that promise and never throws it in his face. I love their friendship! Its sweet how InuYasha took him with when he started making money.
As for Kikyou/Naraku, that was really interesting getting both sides of the break. I almost felt bad for him, getting dumped so cruelly...now I think he's crazy (what a surprise there ;] I love that song by the way!) Kikyou is a little questionable. Can't guage if her intentions are good or bad when it comes to InuYasha. On the one hand, she could really be trying to give him a better experience than she had coming into the art world.. On the other...hmmmm...
This chapter really opened up a lot of possibilities. Some plotting on Kagura's part, a little suspicion/confusion on the girls' part? the start of Mir/San, and clubbing with Yash/Kag. Maybe I'm looking too much into things, but turning off the cell even seemed a bit foreboding. And the HOTEL room! So I can't wait to read what happens next!
Seriously burst out laughing at "bubble butt" and "...shoes, haircuts." "Condoms?" xD and Inu/Kag playing out Wall-E and Eve (didn't get it at first, but I caught the movie this morning: AWWWWWWWWW!) was too adorable!

You saw wall-e??? OMG, squee! Was it not the cutest thing ever?? You know what made me fall hard? "Ta da!" LOL. I think I squeed the ROOF off this house! It totally deserved an honorable mention.
Story wise, you are perceptive, lady! That's all I have to say. 0.~ And yup, homes was ballin', but again, you're perceptive. Everything you saw in the chap had a purpose -and that's REALLY all I'm gonna say!

Thanks for checking this one out. I haven't updated in millions. >.< The emphasis on designers are for a reason. It's a way of showing a gradual change in the way InuYasha sees himself, and being a part of that realm anyway, it's second nature to me to mention them when dressing someone. :)

There are quite a few "labels" in that story, but it's nothing more than a way of showing the kind of world he's running in, and how he's gradually changing -even if he doesn't realize it. I haven't updated this in ages, so it's a miracle to me if anyone remembers it. :P But it's part of my "get rid of them' list, so I want to start, well, getting rid of it, lol. I will definitely be updating this soon!

I really can't blame Miroku for not wanting InuYasha to buy the clothes. There is a pride factor, but sometimes pride is necessary, you know? Especially with the way he grew up, accepting more of InuYasha's kindness at this point - and yes, I do realize that it is just kindness and being a good friend - could lead to some dwindling self-respect. I'm a realist, like him, and the money-throwing bit was making my eye twitch. Still, in the end, I'm glad he acquiesced. It was getting a little too awkward in there, and I didn't like my boys having tension. ;)
I'm not gonna lie - my accounting radar was going through the roof during the Rin/Naraku scene. Every time he alluded to some bullshit about her not needing to know any of the why's, the comebacks were whirling around in my head like a damn tornado! "Actually, I do need to know, because I do your books. So why don't you lay off the sauce long enough to give me a coherent answer, or I'll report your ass to the SEC so fast, not even your precious John Lobb's will make it through unscathed!" Not impressive, I know, but it's what I was screaming. In my noodle. >.>
Yay! This was so, so sweet, and I'm loving the love. Sango cracks me up (as she usually does), as well as Miroku. Don't they make the best comic relief? LOL *itches to write some M/S*
Great work, my girl, and oh, by the way - I just read this through in one sitting, and now my eyes are killing me. You know what? Totally worth it. ^_^

The intro to Yura, Sango, Kaguya and Kagome.. that made me cringe.. You got the essence of snobbery perfect! I can see them (Yura and Kaguya) walking with that nose in air - I am better because I have four digits before decimal point for a daily spending attitude. Very Wicked!! I love that Sango is so level and grounded despite having the upper-class status and Kagome!! She's perfect!! So very in touch with life and the everyday person! I bet it brings alot of behind the back whispering by her two 'friends'...

I tried to make InuYasha good, but not "too" good. He's still a guy, and he can/will make mistakes, but it's important to know that underneath he's a kind heart. He comes from nothing, so everything falling into his lap now isn't anything he ever expected.
Miroku is a lot of fun (you'll see as you get farther in). he's still a lecher, but he's also sweet. I like how he and yasha play off of each other and the brotherly bond they've formed, just by caring.
The girls, well, that was easy. I really just portrayed half the people in this fandom. I took some of the shitty literary snobs that pollute the IY fandom and made them true-to-life assheads, lol. Very simple indeed. Kagome is the one bright spot, because even Sango has things about her that make you o.O (as you will see). Kagome, however, is true to herself and what she feels, and that isn't always a good thing. *ominous music plays* :P

I'm far behind on an update for this, but I'm working one one, so hopefully you'll like it when you get to it. It's been so long since I've really "lived" in my stories. But I'm feeling it now, that buzz I used to get before all of the politics and bullshit. Not many people review anymore, but you know what? I don't really care anymore. It's time I picked up the pen for myself, and part of that will come with private posting. I have plans to lock Absolution down and password protect it, only allowing people that actually give feedback and enjoy the stories to read them. Some may find it mean, but when you don't get any feedback, or the bare minimum, then why kill yourself entertaining people? I have carpal tunnel off this shit; I don't think leaving a few lines and telling me what you thought of the fic is asking tons. Some will disagree with me, and that's their right, but for me, I want to post for people that openly support me and not the ones that lurk on my site because they're afraid their friends will know the read my work.
