This is possibly my favorite story from you. I'll have to think about that more, but I really like the innocent way you've been developing the relationship between the two of them. So far they've been doing everything right, and in your other fics I often have to take a break to get a snack and use the bathroom cause one of them does something so stupid (which advances the plot) that it just kills me. Here they're doing everything right, but you can see the storm clouds on the horizon.

Great chapter. LMAO! My favorite part was when that realtor hit on Inuyasha.....and Yash was just oblivious to it, lol. Miroku, worldly guy that he is, saw it right away. But, our poor Inuyasha....just clueless. He is just so SWEET in this story...and yes, INNOCENT for once. In spite of being poor, he isn't really that jaded at all. He's used to being dissed because he's poor, but that's the worst of it. It's a nice change, especially since you somehow managed to keep Yash mostly in character though his circumstances this time are quite different.
It's astonishing really how oblivious Inuyasha is to his own appeal. He is drop-dead gorgeous.....and doesn't have a CLUE. When that gay guy admitted that he wanted to....bone him, Inuyasha's reaction was priceless. I'm just glad that Miro had his back, and was able to turn things to their advantage. I have no doubt that Yash would have beat his ass if he tried anything.....but making out like a bandit on that high rent was much better and longer lasting than the butt-whupping would have been, lol.
And speaking of Miroku, once again, I love the relationship you have between him and Yash. Though they just really started opening up to each other personally this chapter (Miro's story was really sad, by the way), they still have this brotherhood thing nevertheless. It just goes to show that you don't have to know every detail of a perosn's life to be close to them. As long as you can see the real person within, you can STILL be close.
And speaking of friendships, I hated to see Kagome and Sango fighting. But, talk about a rock and a hard place. Yes, Kagome and Sango had been planning to live abroad for a year. And, yes, Kagome did just meet Inuyasha. But, did Sango have to be so HARSH? Then again, when you look at the two things I just mentioned, what Kagome is doing does sound rather stupid. And, quite frankly, I'd be pissed at my friend, too, if she pulled something that looked this dumb. I guess I found Sango's actions harsh because....it's Inuyasha. And we readers have the advantage of knowing him and his feelings for Kagome. Sango hasn't had the opportunity or the desire to do that yet. I just hope she allows herself the chance to get to know Inuyasha with an open-mind, or "listen without prejudice", as George Michael would say (man, how appropriate is HE for this chapter, LOL). But, then again, Inuyasha has a real ace up his sleeve anyway....Miroku. Miro's going to charm the pants of Sango....literally. That won't be before she knocks his block off a couple of times, of course, but that's just details, lol. My point is, she'll be too concerned with her own business to be so worried about Kagome's. And, Inuyasha being the adorable guy he is, she's going to end up loving him to death anyway, even if it takes a while.
And now for Kikyo....that woman is something else. Those rough edges of hers are really starting to shine through. Her conversation with Kagura was really telling. This was someone who'd been with her from the bottom up. And you threated her like that because of a difference of opinion? Don't get me wrong; I don't feel too sorry for Kagura. She's just as arrogant and stuck-up as Kikyou. Both of them strike me as bitches, to be perfectly honest. But, she didn't deserve that after all the years she'd been there with Kikyo. And now that Kagura is angry enough to join forces with Naraku....oh, boy. And poor Inuyasha is going to be caught in the crossfire. I just hope that he and Kagome can withstand what's coming.
Okay....I've rambled on quite enough. Shutting up now. I look forward to reading more soon.
Author's Response: What a great review!! As always, thank you AND you really grab all of the small things, dontcha?? Kikyou definitely showed some of her "True Colors", didn't she? I refuse to really define her yet. I like keeping yall guessing as to whether she's good or bad, but at least you can see that she don't play. Kagura is a bitch as well, but that's how she became the big deal she perceives herself to be. She's cunning and now she's mad so look out.
Kagome and Sango's fight was mild to me, but I guess I can see why some of yall were taken aback, lol. I don't normally let them fight, but it was fun. Sango, to me, strikes me as the type that would speak her mind if she was pissed and I wanted to stick with that. I mean, she planned all that time and then Kagome pulled the rug from under her -she's understandably upset. But you're right; she doesn't get to see how great Yash is so she's just seeing him as some guy that blew her trip to Europe. So yah, she had to be THAT harsh, lol. :P
Miroku is wonderful. I love him! The apt. thing just sums him up completely. He thinks more than InuYasha does (Yashie likes to fly by the seat of his pants) and that's why they make such a great team. He's the calm to InuYasha's storm. And *nod* Yasha really doesn't understand how pretty he is, but he will. He's also innocent like you said, but that's because he hasn't been exposed to true evil or malicious people, but again, he will. ^^

Interesting twist. Kikyou wants Inuyasha for more than his artistic ability. Kagura wants Kikyou to dump Inuyasha and then when Kikyou threatens Kagura, Kagura goes behind Kikyou's back to Naraku. Throw in some murder and it's an episode of Law and Order :)

The world has and forever will be filled with just enough shady people to bring down everyone else. Naraku and Kagura will never be a positive combination.
I really enjoyed this chapter, especially the scene in the apartment. Hilarious!!!! "Hey, get it right! I wanted to fuck him!" LMAO!!! And then the name "Anton," how pseudo-European. That was just too much.
I feel bad for Sango about the trip, but there would be no way I would leave InuYasha for a week, a year would be unthinkable. Hopefully Miroku can help her forget her troubles. But I can't wait for more InuYasha and Kagome fluff. I so adore their relationship in this fic, its just so darn cute. Update ASAP

Ahh I can’t believe you finally updated. That was soo cute and I have soo much to say about this. Miroku and Sango. I could write an essay on why they fit so perfect in this story… but I won’t. Hehe. I can’t wait till next chapter when they get together. I can feel the excitement that will run between them. I can’t believe that InuYasha is setting those two up. They’re going to be so cute together. Imagine if Miroku and Sango go to Europe together? Instead of letting all of that money goes to waste. It would be a cute second date? Wouldn’t it?
It’s bad that Sango and Kagome got into a fight, but since she wants to stay behind for a guy that she met a few days ago? That would just have just been a disaster.
I can’t wait to see how those two dish it out in the next chapter. I can’t wait for this update!

Ah, Inuyasha setting Miroku up with Sango...
It's like watching the Coyote paint the tunnel on the side of the mountain. You have a pretty good idea of how it's gonna end, but you watch and laugh anyway.
Naraku makes the scene, and he's still the empitomy of power and slithering we know. I like your portrayal of Kikyo in this, platonic. She's a good guy, which isn't something you do with her a lot.
I eagerly await the next chapter so I can watch Miroku go splat on the hillside chasing after Sango :D.

Kikyo...I don't know what to think about her. She sees Inuyasha's potential and she is going to help him become successful...but the way she says "obstacles"... it won't be long before she sees Kagome as an obstacle.
