So many crimes and acts of hatred committed in the name of God, Allah, Yaweh etc and yes, the innocent ones always suffer the most at the hands of those who commit these heinous acts and justify them. Well said in this story.

It was so sad; especially coming from Sesshy's point of view and see how he chose to change. I love how even though he felt the need to change, given that he fell for her in a way, her broken spirit never truly healed given how he treated her.
You kept everything realistic and I loved even - even though u've left me all gloomy

Heartwrenching, but so beautifully written. I had a feeling Sesshomaru would take out his revenge on Rin (though I kind of thought he'd slaughter everyone in the convent, too), but this went way further than I could ever have imagined and just...WOW. The lyrics fit every chapter beautifully and the end was so painful and said. Truly a trilogy of torment, but a really thoughtful read, too.

Freaking out over here! I've been so stressed out with life. Life is seriously killer man. I've hardly had time to do anything for myself anymore. It's really, really, really depressing actually. 0_0
I kind of freaked out and pissed ma pants when I checked my email and noticed two alerts for updates. I really don't care what you update, I'd read anything from you.
Weird... this story was so dark, but it really relieved some of my stress reading it. 0_O odd right? I always thought the first chapter was just the end even though it did say "Trilogy" I always figured it was a oneshot. I'm very happy you decided to come back and finish it though. (:
I love my happy endings, but I have a guilty pleasure for dark stuff. It's kind of terrible because I'm so emotional. It doesn't take too long til I start crying. So, yes... I kind of shed a tear ... or two.. or *cough* several just now after reading the updates.
Sesshomaru was such. a. douche.
I wanted to strangle him reading the shit he put Rin through. I love how perfect your music choices are. The lyrics were perfect. God, this story's so tragic. I think I've reread the entire thing about three times just before typing up this review. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the update! I got to cry a little *or alot*, destress, and the crying I did is really going to help me in falling asleep... which is AWE-SOME 'cause I have such terrible sleeping habits - no matter how much I want to sleep sometimes, I just can't fall asleep completely. It sucks.

It was actually the end of the cycle. Rin saw to that. It's like she realized that she wouldn't allow a child borne of this kind of sin to live because it would repeat the cycle. The tragic part is that the baby could have been what would actually ended the cycle. But Sesshomaru drove her to madness, and even though he tried to redeem himself, it was too late. He had to pay for what he'd done.

So many feelings involved here. My feelings, I mean. ; )
Do I feel angry with Sess? Do I sympathize. Do I feel anger towards Rin at the end? Certainly I'm sitting here wide-eyed. But can't decide how to "feel".
This was lovely and ugly at the same time, if that makes sense. And most of all, original x's 10. Amazing writing as always! Love ya.

Yeah, that's the trickiness to this trilogy. You don't know who to be angry with or who to feel sorry for. They all did things that were reprehensible, yet they all had 'pure' reasons for their actions, so it really kinda conflicts the reader. I think in the end, they all deserve some pity.
And I'll be writing a lot over the weekend since things around here have calmed down and hopefully starting up F.A. month. :D

Sooo at first I didn't read this because of the warning, but then I said what the hell. And I'm glad I did. This was a good read, sad, but good. It's different from other fics I've read. Good job ^_^

Though, many of my stories were started years ago and I >.> tend to see them "recreated" by others as time goes by, thus making me seem like a follower instead of an originator. Lucky thing my website offers story release dates that clear that misconception right up.
But anywho, I'm glad you pushed the initial fears aside and gave it a peek. It's a rough story, but I think my lack of 'details' (omitted on purpose) make the plot a bit easier to handle. :)

When you said dark...I did not go down that road in my mind. But thank you for the warning! I almost thought, that for a moment, everything was going to turn out okay. Then BAM! That was a shocker, but you really got into the victim's mindset I think. Also the captor's frame of mind as his feelings began to change and adapt to the situation. Very well written! Congratulations on finishing a nearly 5 year old fic!

One thing with me -I rarely issue warnings. So when I do, it's best to heed them. I'm the type that won't alert anyone of character death. I'll just do it and let everyone be blindsided. But with some stories, proper warnings truly are necessary. Like this one. But I'm totally proud if you for following this to the end, though you had to see from the start that this couldn't end well.

Oh geeze! This is just heart breaking stuff! This line "Because there was no life without Kagome." Reminds me so much of the final chapter in the manga, when Kagome was gone and everyone else but Inuyasha seemed to move forward. They just couldn't stand to be apart here, neither of them could live without the other. I'm really excited to see where you take the finale!

I get what u mean. before reading the 2nd chp i thought she was married or in a relationship - i hadn't realize that it was God and himself he wanted her to choose from. My second review was tlkin bout how tough she had it and the position he put her thru, which led him to suffer becuz of his selfishness.

Da Grrrl Says: Naw, no relationship or marriage. Then she would have been an effed-up person. The story doesn't reveal a lot, but he met her that way (as a nun) and then tried to force her to be what he wanted. It wasn't done maliciously, of course. He was just in lub, but she couldn't handle it.
Anymehwo, the point of the trilogy is how love can spiral in the wrong direction and cause a very bad chain reaction. One more part to go (and I'm almost done!). :D
