Anyways, I understand what Kags was thinking and all. I'm kinda like that with universities (not people). I want to go to a university a little distance away in order to explore the world a little more. But Kagome...seriously, she wants to see if there is MORE out there? Does she really think she is going to find somebody more PERFECT than Inuyasha? I mean, he's sexy, he's smart (have to be to get into college), he is a sex GOD, and he loves and respects her. Does she know how rare it is to get the entire package? I just can't imagine her train of thought. She thinks she is going to get someone better. *scoffs* I guess you don't know what you got till you get burned.
But haha they are going to the same university! This is going to be GOOOOOOOOOD!

So, I'm aiming for 4, maybe 5. But definitely not three. I hate the way I'll have something simple and it just evolves into something else! >.< And yesh, beloved! You're the "TLH"!
Kagome is young and confused, what can I say? There are plenty of adults that do this very same thing, so I can definitely see it in a teenager. I hope you enjoy part 2. I had a plan, but now it's gone and I'm just writing what comes to mind, lol. Sigh. I do it to myself all the time.

Let me start off by saying, I LOVE this song - when I saw the e-mail for the update, I flipped out just seeing the title. haha. =D
Oh my goodness ... I'm feeling so many emotions with this one. Annoyance with Kagome for going about the break up like she did - I just wanted to slap her! But at the same time, I sympathized, she's young, and inexperienced; she can't give herself completely to him if she has doubts and is constantly wondering the 'what ifs'. Then I thought Inuyasha was a bit pathetic for his grovelling, yet understood his heart was breaking - I mean, what else do you do when the love of your life is leaving? But then you had to go an STARVE him, Inu not fitting into his clothing? I'm disappointed. Nevertheless, it has to happen sometimes, right?
I definitely had to laugh when I realized they had both transferred from East Shikon to West. You're a sneaky one. I'm slightly hoping Inuyasha is the tougher one in this scenario and Kagome is the one breaking down constantly, however not too much or else it gets tedious. Considering this'll be a three-parter I don't think there'll be much time for that though, yes? Not to mention, you? Get tedious? NEVER. Always pulling something out of that labyrinth of a mind of yours.
Oh, stupid, naive Kagome. Dug herself deep this time ... letting go of someone as brilliant and loving as Inuyasha. You better have something good planned up. *glare* Just kidding, I know you do - if you didn't, I'd think the end of the world was coming. haha.
Anyway, excellent job as per usual. I'm anxiously awaiting Act Two. (=

Author's Response: Claire! I swear, you and C-note (bluezinthos) are my musical partners in crime. It's just uncanny! This song was playing on my itunes and I was like, I know what I want to do with it, and then I started writing. It's such a great tune. :P
Kagome, like you've said, is young and inexperienced. She doesn't think she knows what love is and that drives her to think she's missing out. And Yasha did grovel, but give him some credit. He got his head on straight right away and kicked her out. A broken heart can send you through an array of emotions, one after the other. And I did not starve him! LOL! But, I know that when I'm upset I can't eat and it will go on for days. So weightloss made sense, but he's not sickly or anything.
Part 2 is almost done, and it will be longer than 3 parts. I jinxed myself and let my fingers just flow so now I'm in trouble. I think I should stop predicting chapter length and just write! ^^

aww.. that was sad.. InuYasha really made me sad... but I was mad at Kagome because she had to break up with him after they had sex... that was cruel... but I've heard of people who have done worse... and I kinda understand Kagome's point of view... she just wasn't ready...
Anyways, I seemed to have discovered a pattern here... you seem to like having Kagome being the 'breaker uper' in your stories... let's count... this story, Suicide Rain, and Ever After (but I loved how she got on her knees and begged so I guess it's alright) :P
Author's Response: Thanks for reading Rosie! ^^ Yesh, the break up was bad, but she wasn't ready to dig that deep yet. It happens, ne? Pattern, huh? Well.... it's no secret that I write for InuYasha and not Kagome. I think they belong together, but I'm just not a fan, really. There are mountains of stories where InuYasha is the baddie. He messes up everything and Kagome is the victim. So, I balance it out by giving Kagome her fair share of the blame. Yasha is never an angel in ANY of my stories. He deserved to get dumped in Ever After, didn't he? But I like having Kagome take the fall sometimes. It makes me feel better about all of the fics I read where she's a saint and he's a jerk. ^_^

So they both changed to West Shikon? Wow, that's quite amusing. I of course am a True InuYasha Fan, but I see where Kagome is coming from. She can't give him her all if she is wondering "what if" the whole time. He def deserves more than that. So even though I hate that she told him after he said he loved her, if she doesn't love him yet or can't tell if she does, she shouldn't stay for his benefit because then she will get all resentfiul and it would end anyway.
With that said, I do wish for her to be tortured while at school, by his amazingness. It would be nice to see InuYasha become popular with the ladies this time around, instead of seeing the Kouga's Naraku's, Hojo's etc stalk the great and perfect Kagome. I really hate how everyone loves her, she really is quite annoying. There are so few fics that have Yash having confidence in himself or finding it in someone other than Kagome. I would love to see him discover that she isn't the standard for "kindhearted" and maybe she was holding him back fro someone who could love him better. It would be extremely funny if Sango developed a thing for Yash and showed Kagome how to really love him.
But knowing you, I know you have something poppin in your head that I probably haven't considered. I can't wait until the next chapter.

She just gets on my damn nerves sometimes, especially when she sits him. I wanna just punch her teeth out. But I can't see them paired with anyone else (I can write such pairings, but I can't read them). They belong together in my eyes. You read my mind in other ways, too ... tee hee.

I really just need to start sitting next to a fan everytime I read these chapters. That was incredibly hott! I know everyone is like boohoo for Inu, but come on, we all know Kagome can't do better than him. And Kags is gunna realized it :) Just you wait girl, it's gunna come to kick you in the buns!
I'm glad to see you keep on coming up with new and inventive ideas! When Inu and Kag meet, shit is gunna hit the fan!

Wow. GREAT start. Once again, you do a good job of trying to snatch tears out of folks's eyes. But, you didn't get me, darn it! At least not quite, lol.
But, seriously, Inuyasha just broke your heart in this chapter. He loves Kagome so much.....and the pleading he did.....I would have been toast within one minute of breaking up with him. But, Kagome was obviously made of sterner stuff. And, yes, I think she was being a selfish little brat.....but she was also being a teenager. Most teenagers don't appreciate that type of love if it falls into their laps that young. Kagome's never had a bad relationship since Yash was her first. And I lot of people just don't appreciate a good thing until it's gone. And her "exploration" is going to cost her more than she could ever dream of. Since she and Inuyasha have ironically ended up at the same university anyway while trying to avoid each other, it's inevitable that Yasha is going to seek some payback. And nobody is more vicious than someone who once loved you with all of his heart. She's going to figure out real quick that she just threw away the best thing that ever happened to her.....and she's going to have to pay dearly to get him back (IF she can win him back at all.) This is gonna be good!
And, by the way. I could detect NO block with this chapter. It was EXCELLENT.

She's a teenager and she isn't ready/can't comprehend that kind of forever love yet. Right now, Yasha hit it on the head. She wants to play single, flirt, meet the new capmus guys, etc. But in the process, she's breaking the heart of the one that loves her most. She doesn't understand that she had gold in her hands, but she will. *devil face* And thanks so much for not seeing the block, lol. I was really trying to hide it! I totally understand Kagome's point of view - It's one of the reasons I broke up with my first boyfriend - but it shattered him so much it hurts to read it ; ; Now I'm just guessing they're gonna end up in the same school anyway and luckily enough Inuyasha hates her now.
