Awwwww! That was so romantic and hawt. I like the setting. Sesshoumaru has competition and there is no explanations of any kind concerning the homosexuality of any of the characters. Nice and uncomplicated. I liked the imagery you created in the descriptions as well.
Can't wait for the second installment!

Ohh, this is awesome, I love it. I am absolutely in love with human Inu and Sessh together lately. And this was so good, I love the build up to the beginning of their relationship, and angst was perfect, not too angsty - hurt/comfort was what I thought of it as and I love hurt/comfort.
I don't know why you doubt your yaoi writing skills, but they are wonderful. I have read your yaoi with total butch, smut talking InuYasha, and your inexperienced, uke InuYasha is just as good, you write Inucest just like a inucest pro.
I am still almost speechless over the fic, I love it so much, and I can't thank you enough for writing it for me. I wish I had been feeling better so I could have gotten to it right away, but it was certainly worth waiting the extra few days. InuYasha shaped cookies with frosting, and sake for you!!

I feel so new at this... >.< I know you enjoy a softer InuYasha, so that's what I was going for, and I even did a sequel for you. I'm finishing it up today and will post it asap. It's a direct follow up, basically giving their story a little more closure and giving you a little more smut. Tee hee. Must the smut!
I admit, this has been a joy to pen. For the last couple of days I've awoken EAGER to write and that hasn't happened in a long, long time. So thank you for allowing me to give you a gift. It was my pleasure! :D

OH MY DEAR GOD!! @.@ WOW
For somone new to writing yaoi you sure pounded this out like a champ!! This was gripping...enthraling even. Angsty and so well written I almost want to demand you write more.
You have a couple of sections containg lines that really just drive this stoy home and convey emotion like no bodies business.
"It is not a trap, but an inquiry. You say that you are prepared to leave me, to follow your disc jockey - "
"His name is Miroku!"
"If he is not careful, his name will be deceased."
This was said in such wonderfully perfect Sesshoumaru fashion!!

"I can't believe you!" InuYasha screamed. "I really can't fucking believe you!" He tried to shove his brother out of his way, but like a cement wall, he would not be moved. "I told you that I didn't want any part of your mind traps and I meant it, you son of a bitch! I'm tired of you playing with me! I'm not a fucking pastime!"
That last one almost made me want to scream at Sess myself! I was so caught up in Inuyasha's rage at that moment.
Well done and please do more yaoi in the future...this ROCKED!!

Author's Response: OMGAWD, thank you for such a great review, Lynx! Seriously! Yaoi is so daunting for me at times >.< that I always worry myself into a coma hoping I made it believable. But you really gave me a great confidence boost, so thank you SO much. I had a lot of fun writing this, and once I got over my fear of "intimacy" (haha), it poured out without hardly any trouble. Of all the IY characters, I have the most fun with the brothers, so getting them to spar in yaoi was just icing on my Inu cake. :D I'm really thinking that a sequel is going to get written starting TOMORROW, so here's to hoping I can pull it off one more time. :D

Wow. Whether its an extreme hate, a love hate, or really complicated love relationship, you've really got a way with the brothers. I like this. Inu being a pest after his mother died, trying to get his brother to accept him as family, and then developing feelings that made him want more. Really fluffy, but hot, like when Inu claimed "he'd break the back of love." Amazing. But I guess Miroku won't be going to Japan.......;)
I'm not big on the pairing, but I definetely enjoyed this. It was that good, grrrl.

Author's Response: Shankies, Am! And thanks for peeking at it despite the yaoi-ness. I know my "core" audience is all about the het, but I do like to dabble. Inu/Sess was my first yaoi pairing before i started checking out other ones, so it was nice to revisit them.
And so fluffy, ne? :P I definitely thought so. I must be getting soft! Then again, I know that Izzi likes fluff, so I didn't want to get too hard on it. Yasha is always a joy to write, no matter the situation. And when paired with Sess, sparks always fly. Lots of fun to write, and it may get a sequel if I can come up with up with something I like. :D

Whoa. this was GOOD! I don't usually read this pairing but...I couldn't resist, Grrrl, since it's you. :) And I was not disappointed. The sex was HOT (of course)...but that wasn't my favorite part. I loved your characterization of both guys, especially Yasha (again, as always). My only complaint is that I think Yash should have given Sessh a little ( a LOT ^_^) more hell before he gave in. From all indications, Sessh had put the poor guy through a lot of torture, emotionally as well as physically. Maybe it's the sadistic side of me, but I really do wish that Yash had taken a little more revenge. Goodness knows, Sessh deserved it, the.....bastard. But, as I said, pay no attention to me. I have a real mean streak when it comes to payback, lol. And, you did a terrific job with the angst, and I really did love the resoution. Wonderful as always, chica.

Thanks so much for reading it, especially since it's yaoi. I know it's not a fave, lol. I don't write it often, but I like to dabble every now and again. >.> And I know Yasha wasn't super hard on Sess, but I think that happens sometimes when you're in love. You want that person to feel the same so badly that you're willing to leave yourself open. But I did hint at the end that Sess has to EARN his rightful place. It won't just be handed to him.:P Heck, I think you've been hanging out with me too much! Wanting all that angst and stuff!! (loves it.)
The sex, well, I tried. xD Yaoi sex is still really new (notice how I didn't go all the way >.>), so I'm still hoping to get better. But I had such fun writing this.
