The next chapter will show more of everyone's situation and you can see just how different everyone is living. It should be fun. I'm aiming to make this story a standard 20-30 chapters, give or take (No monsters like Edge of 17), so I really need to get cracking. I'm also working on a 2nd HS, shoujo style fic, but this will be really short (10 or less). This one is supposed to be my last HS story, but the plot for the other doesn't work unless they're teens, so i guess I'm not done with that genre just yet! :P

Kagome is tough, but she does have her weaknesses -they all do- and you'll get to see them as different situations arise. They all have their own 'side' stories, too, as well as the main plot, so hopefully, there'll be lots to dig into as this one progresses. RL stuff and super-low inspiration stopped me from updating this as much as I've wanted to, but that's going to change. I've been thinking about this one A LOT, so I know it will be getting a lot more attention in the near future (after FA month is complete).
As for Light, there's a little of his canon character in him, but since I've never read DN and only know about him from reputation, you probably shouldn't look for much of his 'true self' in this. Hakuron, though we both adore that mofo xD- will not be a huge part of this story. He's coming, but it won't be for another couple of chapters. With him, there will be more of his canon character involved, too (since I actually read H.A.).

YOU ARE SO AWESOME! How did you write this so fast? You have so many mysteries going on at once; how is Kagome different and what happened three years ago? What's up with Sango, there has to be more to the story there. How is Light so powerful and why is he so obsessed with Kagome? Why will she do whatever he wants too? I really enjoy that there are signs that Kagome has honest feelings for InuYasha already, and it isn't just attraction. Also, I'm so proud of Miroku for standing up for Sango, and then brushing her off-good for him!! Gotta break that shell of hers somehow! I also liked when Kagome got ripped for bailing too, it brought up more questions than it answered-always a good sign!! Poor poor Kikyou and Tsubaki...their cakes got trashed :( I love that they're underclassmen though lol!

Now, the fic! When I'm in a good space, I can bang out a chapter every other day (provided that my hands aren't aching). So putting it out this fast wasn't that much of an issue. BUT I can only do that when I'm feeling encouraged. >.<
I can't give away plot stuff, but the first few chapters of this story takes place over one day -it's like an extended character introduction. The next one will still be part of the same day, only this time, we'll get to follow people home and see how they live away from Tomori. Some of it will be cute and funny, others will be sad and surprising.
LOL @ Miroku. I liked that part, too. (Am I allowed to say I liked my own stuff? lol.) He's a cad in his own way -they ALL are- but they're still gentlemen to some extent. None of them could stand still while a girl got beat up in their presence. However, that didn't mean Miroku was happy with her. Kikyou and Tsubaki -haha. They're patterned after the super-fangirl types that you see in most school life manga who have hero worship for their upperclassmen. But despite age, she's still a very obsessed, very rich little girl. Who knows how far she might go to have her beloved senpai? OR she might just accept defeat with grace. Ya just never know! :P

You already KNOW how much I love this story to bits, and any update from you makes my day - especially this update! I was actually waiting to get my eyebrows done at the salon when my phone suddenly beeped with an email alert and I checked what the new email was AND IT WAS A FEUDAL-PULPFICTION ALERT! That started my squealing, but when I realized it was for "If I Want To" I seriously hopped up from the couch I was sitting on and started to hop around. From there, my squealing only got louder and louder. LOOOL. Needless to say, people around me were either scared, confused, or they thought I won the lottery or something. Ha! You warn us that the updates wont be long, but I think you're spoiling us 'cause these past few updates have all been pretty generous in length! YOU DA BOMB. .. What's that one song that comes on the radio all the time? By Rihanna? Says something like, "you da one..." Ring any bells? LOL. Well anyway, that song just started to randomly play in my head.
OKAY... well getting back to the point. I LOVE YOU! Seriously, this was the best thing that happened to me today. I always say that though, don't I? Still, I'm completely serious when I say that.
I LOVE the new skin! It's so purdy! Omfg. Kinda embarrassing - but I have to admit that I drooled for a good amount of time. It's so strange! I mean - I know they're all animated characters and they aren't gonna pop out anytime in real life, but they're just all so attractive! Especially in the current skin! LOL. I actually stared for so long that my friend had to come over and check what had my attention for so long. Oh man, she's totally gonna hold it against me forever now. -_-
Inuyasha's such a douche. Most of the things he said had me blushing madly, I wouldn't have stood a chance if I was Kagome. I probably would have been super, embarrassingly flustered and would not have been able to look at him anymore!

And THEN there was that one line about licking it off like "fresh, pussy juice" that just made me blush even more. It wasn't even apart of the dialogue either! Geez! The scene when the "golden boys" helped Sango out was sweet. Atleast, they're not all COMPLETE douches and they're against men laying hands on women.
And lemme tell you, I love that Kikyo's just an underclassmen in his fanclub. I don't know why, but I've always had a mean streak when it came to her character. I did eventually learn to like her character, but sometimes I just can't help it!

So sorry that I took ages updating this. I've had a few online and real life stuff going on and it just threw everything way, WAY off for me for a while. I didn't think II'd write anymore. Not every chapter has to be great, ya know? After a hiatus this long, getting anything out there is better than nothing at all. InuYasha IS a douche, but he's the douche we'd all like to keep for ourselves! He just doesn't give a shit because he's got money, power, and the backing of a father and brother who taught him everything he knows. Ya just gotta love that, ne? lol.

She thinks I must be screwing the world in order to write a good lemon? It couldn't just be that I write well? She was a complete idiot with her head up her narrow ass (like too much of this fandom). But with you, I know you don't mean it in the same way at all (so don't worry! :P).
TBH, I haven't dated anyone seriously for almost 6 years, and therefore, have not been >.> physically active for the same amount of time (I'm not trying to catch a disease for a quickie). I've spent almost all of my fanfic career in celibacy, and most of what I've written, I've never actually done (I'm pretty damn vanilla. lol.). So, nope, no 'awesome skillz' here -just a really active imagination! >.> And YES, moving the lollipop from his mouth to hers WAS hot. Even I was like, damn. O_O I'd really like that!!
Don't feel bad about liking Kikyou -I don't really like her, either. I absolutely hated her years ago, but now, as long as I don't see/read any IY/KIK stuff, I can tolerate her. And I love her with Sesshomaru -she and Kagura are great matches for him. I wasn't going to let her in this story, but I thought it would be funny to see her acting like a silly, teenage fangirl (and further break her canon characterization!).
