Such a lovely and sad tale. I really wasn't expecting them to meet again in the afterlife. I guess I should have seen it coming though. I think the ending I was expecting would have only worked had she not found the receipt for the kimono. Great read!!!!

The first time I watched 'Somewhere In Time', I loved it. Then cried like a baby when Christopher's character would see the penny, and with the look of sheer panic on his face, he was gone.
Even though this was one of your earlier works, it am no less just as beautiful and emotional as the original you wrote this to give honor and tribute to. I am always in awe of the talent you have, and your willingness to share that beautiful talent with others.

You know, at first glance, the story seems so creeperish that, even though you know they're meant to be together anyways, the whole family story obsession thing is kinda weird.
NEVERTHELESS! This quick read never fails to give me the angst and romance I need for a fix of your writing. Fantastic, really. Thanks!

So, it wasn't so much an obsession as it was a strong interest in the history of a family of demons; a phenom that, of course, does not (should not) exist in Kagome's time. Not to mention that she never knew why the older man came to see her. Learning who he was, of course, would make her super curious as to how and why he thought he knew her. But again, maybe you just need to see the film to understand what I was trying to do.

Hey, just wanted to leave a quick review thanking you for the link to the movie! I finally watched it last night and it was awesome! It kinda of helped explain this story a little more for me as well, I now fully realize what you were talking about when you said her time traveling was like an illusion, she basically did the same thing in the movie, unknowingly using hypnotic suggestion to convince her mind that she was really with Inuyasha until she was snapped back into the present by the receipt, as you've stated. Thank you again, and hopefully I can start reading another one of your stories later tonight! -I'm getting ready to leave for a b-day celebration at my neighbors house right now.

A bittersweet story, but I'm sure it was also an accurate and wonderful tribute to the movie that inspired it! It was a beautiful story about a transcendent love and I thank you for sharing it! I hope I can track that movie down sometime and watch it for myself!

It was adapted from a book (I have that as well) and it's just one of those timeless love stories that makes me cry every single time. I couldn't possibly have done it the justice it deserves, but I really wanted to write an IY version, so I'm glad I did. :)

Sorry for the delay in getting this first review up, but my younger sister ended up coming back home this Saturday and I kinda got busy helping her settle back in before going out to dinner and a movie. Anyway, I'm really loving this story so far! I know you said that it's based off the movie "Somewhere in Time", which I have, regrettably, never seen, but I have seen "The Lakehouse" which seems to have pretty much the same plot line, give or take. I may be able to read another chapter or half chapter before leaving for work today, but I wanted to be sure to get my first review of the tale in now so I don't have to rush later. Well, that's it for now, I'll be looking forward to finishing this later and thank you for the movie recommendation! I definitely want to try getting my hands on a copy so I can view the movie that inspired you to wrote this!
