I remember reading this story in another site, now i just read it for fun again. I have to admit that it still made me teary eyed. I forgot how gruesome it was. I think this was one of my first fan fic that I read from your collection that was shocking to me. How did you come up with the torture it was to much, I cringed every time something happened to poor Rin. That Nuraku deserved a lot more than what he got. I loved the story like i said this one was one of the first fics I read from your collection.
Im glad I reread this again it was a great trip down memory lane :)

It's funny. My best friend's favorite character is Rin and >.> she loves that torture scene. It's one of her faves (Yes, certifiable, she is) and I'm usually trying to remember what I wrote, or I'm asking myself how the heck I pulled it off. lol. I was a lot more gruesome with thing when I first started writing and shocking people is sort of second nature, so i guess that was me unleashing? :P

Been pleasantly reading my way through your classics, the nostalgia is bittersweet. Mainstream fandom has long been deprived of quality. A given, I suppose, since the conclusion of InuYasha but such a shame.
I digress, your writing remains poignant still and never fails to enchant.

And you're right. My writing style did change. This was my first multi-chapter story from 2005, so yeah, changing and developing a stronger style was inevitable. I feel like this story is just all over the place and written on the fly with little regard for grammar and story structure. Nowadays, I try to be better with that. :)
