OMFG!!! This story is so flippin' awesome! Is it just me or is InuYasha a pro at the Art of Seduction? lol He's just so smooth, but then again Kagome is so innocent. I think that's why they belong together...perfect balance, you know?

Oh gosh, I want Kikyo to get her revenge and hopefully, it'll end up benefiting Sesshy.

Hmm...based on Tsubaki's words, I thought that the truth serum she brewed would have some awful affect when Sesshy gives it to Kagura, but then again, I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a death wish. I guess I'll find out her meaning in the next chapter ;) LOL Sometimes I feel kind of bad that Tsubaki tries and fails to recapture her youth :(

Oh wow! Kohaku den lost his mind! I don't condone his psychosis lol, but I guess it's true that you should be careful of how you treat people! I feel so bad for Rin T.T

I have a question: I remember reading (I think in one of your review replies) that the pairings in this story are 'canon.' So does that mean it's Sess/Kagura? Or is it Sess/Rin? I was never quite clear of what canon pairing means for Sesshomaru.

Well, you made my day - literally!

I was out all day but blv me - MPR stayed on ma mind most of the day. Then i got home and just had to re-read the whole thing... That was a rush!!! lol

Re-reading it, made me realize how much Kagome is sooooo immature and innocent!!! She's so green, that corrupting and manipulating her is easy as one - two - fucking three! This chp tho with her giving it to Inuyasha was good - at the dinner. I LOVED the line she spit to him saying "...So talk what you know, or try something really impressive like shutting up" ... That line was the shit! But who am I kidding - i love this Inuyasha!! It's so good to hate him, yet so bad to love him. smh... But the speech he gave her there was sizzling! I love how he's digging his ditch - saying how it's just to get info out of her for his bro! He's jus in utter denial and it's so cute and pathetic at the same time. His sense of false awareness in that field is fun to watch - especially the circumstances he put himself into. Omg i jus love them!!! (But again, Kags so EASY lol... I love how u blatantly have her filled up with so much naivety)

Then we have Miroku... who - unlike Inuaysha - is completely aware and open with his new found changes. Seriously, can Miroku b any more amazing?! He's seriously running competition with Inuyasha in ma heart. I'm still in awe at what he did for those kids, and him actually moving away from his pervy ways and calling Sango a cab - and even coaxing another kiss out of her? Ah-mazing and sooo KAWAII!!!

I love Kagura's strong persona. But it's even more interesting when u see the real them - emotion filled. Kagura is by far the strongest female who can stand her ground to anyone in my opinion - and that's why i love that girl so much...

Then Sesshy, that arrogant piece of sexii ass!! aaauuhhh!!! I love his cocky ways and am eager to see if he'll pull thru with gettin Kagura. I'm at a loss at what could happen. Both of them have such strong personalities - there's no way the norm can happen. Both of them "gets what they ultimately want."

Kagome is a little immature, but not overly so. Remember, she knows nothing about InuYasha other than he kisses like a dream and looks hot like fire. He hasn't exactly been forthcoming with her and he cursed her out and called her a zillion names. Can you really blame her for acting the way she does? But now that he's asked her to be his girl officially, things may start to change between them. She just has to get used to his tude.

InuYasha is a good guy underneath all that wreckage. He's in mourning, and now with this little assignment, he's in a tailspin. He's attracted to Kagome, but he hates that he is, that's why he's such a jerk. He takes his frustrations out on her, going from hot to cold. When, or if, he'll get it together is anyone's guess.

Miroku is a good guy, but also a bad guy. he's womanizer, and a drug dealer, but Sango is making him see the world through new eyes. He feels guilty and ashamed when he's around her because she's just so much better than he is. So he's kinda falling hard and really taking a minute to think about who an what he is.

Kagura IS strong,a nd you'll see how much in later chapters. her past is fucked up, but she's making it her own way. Seeing her lose it is rare, but like perfection, she went right back into the zone and got ready for her date. lol.

Sesshomaru is a LOT of fun to write. I don't like having the brothers enemies. It's always irked me to death that RT went there. So I unravel her shit on the regular by making them care about each other. And Sess is naturally arrogant, so seeing him act up is normal. :P As a couple, I like Sess/Kagura more than Sess/Rin, but in this one anything can happen.

I'm really happy you updated this story! I really like it and enjoy reading it. The story line is well thought out. I'm not surprised Kohaku is doing that to Rin, she keeps stringing him along because she knows how he feels about her. And Inu with kags seems to be heated up, the Miroku and Sango aspect seems to be picking up. I'm excited to see more.

I don't know if you read my blog, but I wanted to thank you for that review left for Treasure on the Tide. I accidentally deleted that fic a week ago. I was able to re-add it, but your review couldn't be saved. However, I did get a chance to read it and I'm working on a new chapter. I didn't know it had been so long! Eek!

But anymewho, I'm glad you liked the chapter and I so appreciate the review. This hasn't been updated in ages, so it's nice to see that a few people remember it. :D

Damn. I love it when Sesshomaru gets all regal and boss-like on someone's ass. He's never been my favorite character, but when he cracked the whip on Tsubaki, that was so much fun to read. So's this version of InuYasha xD His food stamps crack had me in stitches. Seriously. Nice way to say "Just order whatever you want." I love it...and I'm REALLY loving how Kagome's been snapping back here, too. You've never really made her the "lay down and take it" type, but here more than ever she seems to give off that NY girl 'tude.

I really like Mir/San, too, and can't wait to see how they'll pull through if/when things get complicated because of Shippou's plan for Kohaku and Miroku's job. I actually feel SO bad for Kikyou, too, so here's hoping she sticks to all four of those assholes. Renkotsu especially. Ugh.

Rin on the other hand, needs help >.>

Really interested to see where it goes. You have NO idea how excited I was to see this one get an update. Its one of the first fics I read when I came to Abi (and yeah, its definitely been a while because it was last updated around that time, too xD), and up there as one of my faves. If this is the fic you mentioned on Redemp, can't wait to see what else you have in store now that you've figured out a new direction to take it in!

IY/K: They're so much fun to pen because he lives to push her buttons. Deep down, i think he likes her, but he's not ready to admit all that yet. So it's more fun to steal kisses and work her nerve. Kagome knows she likes him, but she'd not trying to take his crap, either. But, as you see, she often gives n because she likes his lips. LOL. Will this escalate? Well, maybe.... definitely. Haha.

Mir/San: He's such a playa, but he's got a little heart. S ango, though, is bringing it out of him overtime. Like, he's never met anyone who was completely selfless before, so she amazes him. But their story gets twisted, so it will be interesting to see if they stay together when all the different shit hits the fan.

Kikyou: I abuse teh shit out of her in this, don't I? That's for years of dicking Kagome around, bitch! LOL. But really, she's a victim here and Ren is a psychopath with a split personality. Look how nice he was to S hippo, then he can turn around and beat her down. *SMH* Will he get his eventually? Maybe. <.<

I've been working on this forEVER, and was still just on the Sesshomaru part. But then I buckled down and banged all that out over 2 days. It was actually fun to delve back into this 'cause it's a fave. And yeah, this is the one I mentioned on redemp. The plot I had is still in place, but I thought of an interesting -and sick- twist for one of the characters' side story that will nicely tie into another's. It will be a BLAST when all the pieces fall into place, trust me.

I just have a thing for fanfiction with a little urban theme to it. I don't know why I like reading fanfiction with drugs and violence so much, but it's just so addicting. I'm a little sad that this was the last chapter posted up, but like all your other stories, it was a joy to read.

Dude...I work at McDonald's...and if Miroku came into my store and asked for that much food, I'd be on it in a second. Miroku would have his food SNAP! Well, within like 6 minutes because they don't keep THAT many nuggets and cheeseburger stuff in the cabinets... It made me smile to see him doing this for the kids.
