You know I'm super busy with school so you'll forgive me for the short AND late review. :P I loved it. I love the relationship going on between Inu and Kags. Haha, Inu slipped up and told Kag that he'd always protect her. Teehee. And Miroku bought happy meals! Awww. And he'll never let it get shut down. And Rin...I'm kinda mad at Kohaku right now because she really wants to get off drugs and Kohaku is not helping. She was really sick and all but...you can't just drug the girl and hope that she's okay! Stupid...

It has been awhile eh? Lol. I still love Sango and Miroku! You make them such a cute pairing, and you just give a little splash of fluffiness throughout the chapters, so cute. I really don’t want him to tell her what he does for a living… That would break Sango’s heart. But he could always help her find Kohaku! It would be her live long dream ever since she pushed him away.
The Kohaku and Rin are kind of a love, and hate relationship, a bitter sweet one at that. I like how Kohaku is helping Rin… but in the same sense he’s just helping her dig her own grave. I’m still undecided on this relationship, same with Sesshomaru and Kagura. I love them but I hate them.
I can’t wait to see what InuYasha has in store for Kagome. He was such a little daredevil in this chapter. I thought he was going to get into an accident for sure. Hmm… I hope it’s good. He might feel sorry for taking Kagome’s virginity away from her when he finds out she’s still innocent.
It was still a wonderful chapter, and I can’t wait for the next one!
Author's Response: I say this all the time, but I'm going to say it again. When I write Miro and Sango I always think of you. I say, Hmm.. I wonder if Nat will like this one, lol. I always liked the Miro/San pairing, but I never gave them too much attention until I realized how much as you like them, and since you're one of my favorite lovelies, I always consider you when I write them. I can't tell you what's going to happen with them, but it's a bumpy ride.
Inu and Kags are wonderful. I really love writing them in this because they're such oil and water, yet they mix so damned well. They balance each other without realizing it.
Kohaku and Rin are a mess. They have one of the most destructive loves I've ever written. Sess/kagura, they're two sides of the same coin. They're cunning, vicious, and yet they each have people in their lives that they love and it forces them to be compassionate -to a degree. Everyone in this fic is just chock full of issues -I love it!!

Yay! Another great update!
I didn't like Kohaku in this chapter. I mean, Rin's is little mean and harsh in this story (but I feel sorry for what had happened to her) but that was not okay for him to do that to her.
Sango is already falling for Miroku (I think) but I think she might hate him when she finds out what he does for a living. I hope everything with them turns out okay.
I'm usually neutral about who gets Sesshoumaru but I really want Sesshoumaru to end up with Kagura in this story. I don't know why.
Hmmm, I wonder what InuYasha is going to do. I hope you update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, Rosie! I know the Rin/Kohaku scene is pretty harsh, but it was meant to be. This is one of those fics where there won't be any sugarcoating, so some stuff will be hard to stomach. Sango and Miroku are fun, but his "job" will be a real eye opener. InuYasha is just wild, but he's got a good heart. A hard heart, but a good one. And Sessie, well, he's a man of means. He gets what he wants and worries about the rest later. I know who'll he'll end up with, but I can't tell ya. ^^ Thanks for reading and commenting!

Yay! MPR! Deliciously back-stabbing and meticulous. I love how Sango and Miroku's relationship is progressing, but I know that he'll be in deep shit the split second she finds out he's a bad guy =p Same with Inu and Kagome. I love that he's so harsh with himself and scared that he could get over Tanisha, it's much more realistic and it'll take him some more time. Omg, that scene with Rin and Kohaku was terrible. I couldn't stand it. I feel so sorry for both of them, but I hate Kohaku for doing what he did, even though he's just trying to be closer to her. That scene gave me the chills, great work.
It's great to see that you're updating again! Keep it up!
P.S. Why does EVERYONE have a hidden agenda??? XD
Author's Response: Ax! I had a feeling you would like this chap for no other reason than all of the personality clashes and agendas, lol. This one is so fun to write when I'm inspired! Rin and Kohaku was a very... difficult scene, but you know me. I'll be the one to write such things without batting a lash. I enjoy all of the conflict and darkness :P and I'm glad you do, too!

Good chapter. I love how all of these guys, particularly Inuyasha, have convinced themselves that they are firmly in control....when they're drowning in quicksand, LOL. Inuyasha is so darned reckless, so cavalier about life since the death of his mate....but, at the same time, he's vowing to protect Kagome from all harm, even from himself apparently. He's convinced himself that it's all a game....but it so clearly isn't. Yash is going to put poor Kagome through absolute hell before he falls (or, more accurately, ADMITS that he's fallen; quicksand remember, LOL), but he will definitely be worth the trouble when (or IF) she wins him.
And Sesshoumaru thinks he has everything in total control as well...but some of that is smoke, too. The fact that he's even willing to entertain the thought that Kagura may working with Bankotsu under duress speaks volumes. This arrogant bastard doesn't trust ANYONE, except maybe his brother. Yet, he's giving Kagura the benefit of the doubt when his sworn enemy has been seen with her more than once?! Complete control....yeah right, LOL. He's not nearly as close to the edge as Inuyasha....but the cracks ARE showing.
The part with Miroku and Sango was cute and sweet... and it doesn't look like Miroku's conscience is going to allow him to do this stuff much longer. His conscience already seemed to bother him anyway. Meeting Sango and seeing the other side of his "job" firsthand should finish it off pretty quickly.
The most disturbing scene, though, was Rin and Kohaku. LORD, those two are bad for each other. Talk about a match made in HELL. I was glad to see that Rin was TRYING to stop using...but Kohaku is so desperate for her that he will do ANYTHING to keep her with him, even inject the poison into her veins for her. That is not love; it's destructive obsession...and I don't see how this stuff can end any way but badly. Another good one, girl. And I've taken up enough cyberspace with this rambling, LOL.
Author's Response: Helluva review, girl. Thanks so much. I know this one is hard to read for many people because it's so dark and OOC and everything else you can call it. But the few that bother to read and review make the work worth it. ^_^
You always catch the little things, ya know? Like the fact that all of the boys are in trouble, lol. InuYasha, by far, is the most reckless of the three. He will just jump into anything without thought because he doesn't care about himself the way he should. Kagome is ashamed of her past, so she's hiding. Sess... you said a mouthful!!! I think you're the only one to point it out, too. He is giving Kagura more trust than he normally would. I think we can safely say that Sess is the type that would just take you out without needing confirmation. But this time, he's investigating. Sango and Miroku are sweet, but sad. They each have a lot to lose. And Rin/Kohaku, yes, very destructive. Too destructive, really, lol. rnThanks again for such a righteous review -it's much appreciated. ^^

When i saw u updated *this* fic, i wanted to jus scream! I've been dying for u to update these spicey fics...both the painter one n this one... yup yup.. am a happy camper! =)
I want kikyou to spill everything. I feel so sorry for her. I mean nobody; even if they're beyond evil... they should never have to endure such abuse from any1; especially that fucker! OoOh, how i hate him so much! The begining intriqued me.. and i love how bank thinks he's got kouga and at the same time kouga thinks he's the one who's out smarting them all... really good i tell u.
Now lets see... Kagome n inuyasha. I mean what can i say. I gotta tell u i'm attracted to the bad boy times ya kno and these guys bleeds jus that so u can tell that am loving them all. I so wanna find out how they'll turn up with all those secrets... but for now i think the real couples i like now is sango n miroku. they're so kawaii! And sango seems to be the one girl who'll change him... i mean he's already doing all those sweet stuff and i find it hard to blv that it's jus to get closer to her, tho he has it in mind... yup yup... I'm loving it!
I feel like am writing alot with jus babbling and nonesense, lol. Bbut sesshy is jus a sexy player! Juggling 2 girls at once... *sigh* that's so damn hawt! I still cant figure out who he'll end up with! I wont be sad if it's kagura cuz for once kohaku seems to really love her... and i dont want his heart to be broken.

Hey, I absolutely love men that are in control. Too bad I don't know any. Sad for me but great chap. I like to see both Kagome and Yash working to knock down each other's walls. I was sooo sad for Yash when his girl and baby died, so I am glad that he is able to get on the path of moving on with someone who will be good for him.
The end to the Joe Torre Era has come in such a sad and anti-climatic fashion. I foresee some big things for our future b/c we are on the ropes and have got to get it together.

The Torre thing, that was just odd. But you know what? They knew he was going to decline. One, they made him wait too long and it was insulting. Then, they purposely low balled him so that he would turn it down on his own without having to look like bad guys. It's pretty sad, but we can only hope that some good comes of all this. Personally, I'm wondering who they're going to get to replace him. I don't think LaRussa will be a good fit.

Hey an update! Good chap. The interesting thing about this story is that just as I'll start to feel bad for Inuyasha he'll turn into asshole supreme and I'll decide he's not worth feeling bad for after all.
OOH! Quick note (on Jen's writing pet peeve list) if you're using a word twice like in the sentence "Inuyasha had had a rough day..." you don't need the comma between the words.
This story is awesome. Super dark and there's no real good guys (well Sango and Kagome are pretty good but you know...) 'cause even the guys that you're pulling for are not so good. Keep it up when you can!
Author's Response: LOL, I'll keep that had had -had, had in mind. I may even correct it one day -haha. Chances are that I won't though because I never care enough about that sort of thing. So yah.
This is one of my faves aka writing it more for myself type stories. It's probably the only one that lets me just cut loose. So, if people like it -great. If they can't stomach it (OOCness, the language, drugs, basic darkness) then, oh well. Glad you liked it, and yesh, InuYasha is an asshole and I love him that way. For once, every character is a joy to write.

Hey girl,you had me scared for a minute, I really thought Inuyasha and Miroku were going to come to blows and yeah, it wouldn't of been pretty. But we all know the truth hurts and when someone has to shove it down your throat it hurts even more but it is time Inuyasha stops and smells the roses as in Kagome. She's just the right attitude adjustment Inuyasha needs, I just hope she doesn't lose her resolve because he definately needs a strong woman to keep his ass in check. As sweet as it is,Miroku is asking for trouble messing with Sango, his secret won't stay hidden forever with Sesshomaru. Will I get to read another interaction between Rin and Sess, it's like watching a train wreck but you just can't turn away. Shippo is crazy,I know there was no love lost between him and Kohaku but Damn, he's basically asking him to commit suicide by undermining Sesshomaru. Drama, drama, and more drama! Loving it! So much emotion in this chappie. Kagome is annoyed and frustrated and attracted and confused. Miroku is generous and thoughtful and confused. Inuyasha is just confused. Poor thing. *rubs the ears*
This cannot end well...lies, secrecy, pain, suffering. Gets me excited for the next chappie!! Beautiful job!
Love how Inuyasha is trying to manipulate Kags...but he's doing the same thing to himself in the process.

!!!!!!!!!!!Miroku’s a sweetheart!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew he’d be such a softy eventually. Soooo many kid’s meals, Sango’s really going to be in for a treat when she sees Miroku doing this. He knows away to make Sango fall in love with him more, even if he’s just helping out the children because he wanted too. Too bad InuYasha and Miroku got into a fight, it was so horrible how Inu yelled at Miroku. I just wanted to hug Miroku. *Hugs.* They’ll make up, for sure. They’re best friends after all. ^-^
Ahhh, InuYasha treats Kagome so poorly, but he’s falling in love with her! More fluffies Kiki! Those two are really cute together.
I liked how you got Sesshomaru thinking about Rin and Kagura. Both bring different qualities to the table, it’s only a matter of time until Sesshomaru figures out which is his best mate, maybe both? Hehe..
