so i think im on chapter 7 or 8 but to be honest i lost track. ive gooten so wraped up in this story i just had to drop a review letting you know how great i think it is. the roles u have picked for everyone in this story fits perfectly.

Excellent work so far! It was refreshing to see that you decided to give Inu an OC for a mate instead of using Kikyo like I've seen other authors tend to do. It freed up Kikyo to join the story later on, and it also kinda helped me feel sorry for his loss a lot more since I usually really don't care too much for Kikyo. Though I am actually really rooting for her right now, her current plot for revenge definitely seems like something I can fully support, especially since it doesn't involve dragging Inuyasha to hell.

Anyway, while I do really feel sorry that he lost Tanisha, I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't really loving seeing him finally interact with Kagome! It's just too bad that he's setting her up for heart break when all of his secrets finally come out and unfortunately the same goes for Miroku and Sango's situation as well, but alas, all rising actions must climax and fall eventually, otherwise all the fun would be taken out of the story!

As for the situation with Rin, I gotta say that I was proud of her when she started try to detox herself and I was absolutely furious with Kohaku for selfishly forcing her to start doing drugs again! I may have thought him alright at first, but now I almost find myself rooting for Shippo. I don't want to see Sango hurt of course, but I starting to think that I wouldn't mind it so much if Kohaku suffered, Rin may have been harsh before, but not quite to that extent. I really do like Sesshomaru and Kagura together, but I can't help but root for Rin to snag him in the end. Lol, it's always been so hard for me to choose whether I prefer Sesshy with Rin or Kagura and great stories like this don't make things much easier-so far I'm really loving both characters to death, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), there is only one Sesshomaru so only one of them can have him, it's just a question of who that will be.

It's a refreshing twist to see an evil Shippo, I don't exactly hate the kit, but I've never really seen him as the sweet innocent kid that Kagome views him to be either. He's definitely got a darker side to him and it's nice to see it brought out. I also like his jealousy over Kagome and Inuyasha's relationship cause it's always been an emotion I could easily see Shippo having when it comes to those two. In the anime/mange he'll always start deliberately pestering Inuyasha knowing Kagome will take his side since he's "just a kid" and thus ends up with Kagome's undivided attention while Inuyasha gets unfairly sat into oblivion for defending himself. It screams jealousy, like it's Shippo's way of declaring that he wants Kagome all to himself and if Inuyasha tries to take her affections for him away then he'll turn her against the hanyou. Like I said, I don't hate him, but he is a spoiled brat a lot of the time and it's always nice to see an author acknowledging and exploring that side of him!

Well, I guess that's it for now, I really do love how the story's coming so far and I look forward to reading the rest!

I can't say much about the plot (I should have updated forever ago *sweatdrop*), but you were really paying attention to what was going on! I, too, feel a bit sorry for Kikyou. She's been through a lot, and while she isn't really a 'nice girl', she doesn't deserve all of that, either.

I knew that a lot of people would feel differently toward Kohaku once they got a little taste of his true colors, lol. Shippou, though... is it too awful to say that I love this evil version of him? I normally dislike Shippou -a great deal- to the point of almost never including him in my fics. Growing up, I would hear my mom say how much she hates a "fresh child", and that, to me, is what Shippou is. He's manipulative, envious, and disrespectful. I hate the way he speaks to/treats InuYasha. It pisses me off, and Kagome's cluelessness on the matter makes it worse. She feeds his bad behavior by siding with him instead of scolding him, so yeah, how he acts over their relationship in my story feels like an accurate version of a grown up Shippou. Bleh.

Sesshomaru is so smooth, lol. In the canon, I hate him (95% of him), but I like him in my stories and this version is one of my favorites. Who will win him in the end? Who knows. I won't be giving away any plot points. :D

I'm going to try and update this soon, though, because I forgot how much I actually miss it. The writing bug hasn't been hitting me, so it's not easy, but I'm trying.

P.S. Thanks for supporting InuYasha's OC wife. :P I like to run think outside of the box and this scenario involving his interracial relationship and subsequent heartbreak was perfect to begin our look into his tortured soul. 0.~
