I LOVE this.
I can see that you put a lot of effort into making this MPR world genuine - and you do a great job. There's depth, the style makes everything so believable and real.
I'm interested with ALL of the characters for once XD
Except Kikyou ._.
I love Miroku's character in this, and InuYasha's. Kagome is cool too =p I really wanna see how all these relationships progress.

GREAT chapter. Lots of action and emotion. Inuyasha and Miroku's fight was hard to read, though. They are like brothers, closer than Inuyasha and Sesshomaru for sure. But, they said some really rough stuff to each other.....and big, nasty fights like that don't happen unless the air needed to be cleared anyway. Obviously, Inuyasha's attitude had been bothering Miroku for a while or he wouldn't have snapped like that. Miroku was sick of being called a wimp (softer than the "p" word deliberately, lol), simply because he wasn't as cynical about women or the world in general as Inuyasha. Plus, Miroku was just sick of watching his "brother" self-destruct. Inuyasha's anger was more than evident when Miroku went there....but so was the hurt underneath it. You did such a good job with that scene.
As for Shippo....that little pissant is going to get squashed like the bug he is when the Taishos get wind of this. Man, you made him a a shitbag here, a RACIST shitbag. Shippo's traitourous butt is going to be trouble. But his mouth just wrote a check that his ass can't cash, to quote an old saying.
And Kikyo....all I can say is "hell hath no fury." She is certainly a woman scorned....but also one who has been horribly abused. And when you have a person who already had a vicious streak to start with in this position....you are in trouble. Kikyo is just biding her time...and I can't wait to see how that goes down. I hate women beating punks. Kikyo's a bitch....but nobody deserves that.
And the Inu/Kag stuff....it's so much fun to watch. Kagome is so out of her league dealing with a guy like Inuyasha.....yet somehow, she manages to keep the score tied everytime she deals with him....without even really trying. Poor Inu is tied in knots....and all Kagome has to do is be herself. He's falling fast.....kicking and screaming, but falling all the same. And it will be the best thing that could happen to him.
Okay, I'm finally done rambling. Terrific chapter, and I really enjoyed it (in case you couldn't tell from this LONG review), LOL. I definitely look forward to the next one.

Shippo is a LOT of fun to write because he's devious. I always see him as just a brat (hence you never see much shippo in my stories) but in this, I actually made him evil to a degree. Now, I wouldn't call him racist, but like most full blooded youkai, he doesn't respect hanyou and hates InuYasha outright because of kagome.
Kikyou is a tough cookie. She knows how to take what she has to, but she's not the type to just get burned without retaliation.
The fight between Inu and Miro was hard to write and Yash really would have hurt him badly if Sess hadn't stepped in. They're both hurt and angry, InuYasha especially, because like you said, he's closer to Miroku than Sesshomaru. So they have stuff to work out.
Inu and Kags are fun! He's such a jerk, and she's all sweet, but they bring out the other side of each other. She somewhat softens him and he pulls out the fire in her soul, so it's a strange balancing act. I love "Kicking and screaming". That sums it up perfectly!

OK, can we just kick Renks ass now? Lol. He is such a scum bag... almost makes ya feel sorry for Kikyo. But got the feeling shes gonna get it up on his ass, and good. And can we be seeing Koga deserting the brothers soon here? Makes me wonder. Great chap Onna. Still love the 'Sweet Pea' from Inu. Somehow from him to her, it fits. But now whats Inu gonna do after this kiss? Should be fun finding out, lol.
And love how ya got Shippo. Don't think Ive ever seen him in such a light before, and you're having way too much fun with him, too, lmao. Things are really heatin up now it seems. Awesome! Hugzzz...

Hey a chapter! A decently long one, too. Imagine how surprised Inuyasha's gonna be when he figures out how little Kagome knows of what goes on at Kagura's. But imagine how he's gonna be too far gone by then anyway. Good chapter. Everyone's backstories are *very* interesting. Let's hope the boogey-block-man doesn't get you again (otherwise I'll have to sit it in the time out corner).

Inu is almost as assy as Renkotsu ._. What jerks! But damn, entertaining. I'm glad Inu and Kagome have finally come to 'terms'. It's about time =p I'm interested to see what happens with Rin, I actually like her sleazy character in this o.O
And of course, eager to see what happens with InuYasha and Kagome! I'm already guessing the shit that's going to go down, but atleast you've got them together now and not biting each other's faces off.

Aww, InuYasha and Kagome are really sweet. I love how you made him curious about what’s wrong with Kagome and why she was crying. Though he did get annoyed at why she was crying but that just adds to his character! And the nick name you picked, ‘sweet pea,’ that’s adorable!
I feel for Kikyo, I know you don’t particularly like Kikyo but that was just mean. However, it did show how… sadistic? I’m not sure if that’s the word I’m looking for but it shows how depressed and how far Renkotsu will go just to have a little fun. Bankotsu was such a jerk for letting Renkotsu do such a thing to Kikyo, though he did kind of stop the assault by telling him to do business. When he gave him the gun I thought they were going to kill Kikyo, I’m glad they didn’t. It’s a little too early to kill her off, at least that’s what I think.
I’m not a huge fan of Sesshomaru and Rin and I’m not quite sure where their relationship is headed since there’s Kagura liking Sesshomaru too…
You know what I noticed in this?? There wasn’t any Sango and Miroku action. *Tear* But overall it was a great chapter! I couldn’t see any writers block anywhere in this one, way to go Kiki!! ^^
Author's Response: I definitely like how Kagome and InuYasha are coming along --and there's no san/miro because this is still the same night. They already said their goodbyes. But they'll reappear in the next chap.
The thing with Kikyou was definitely mean and it was meant to be. In fact, I was going to take it farther than that but I held myself back. MPR is not a nice fic by any means, Nat :P That's why I warned so much on the first chapter. There will be a lot more uncomfortable scenes in future chaps so prepare thyself ^_^ but I always try to mix in a lil fluff and sweetness so I don't kill yall with angst and horror.

That was the best damn chapter yet!!! Holy grrrl!! If this is what block does to you than block is WAY underrated! LOVVVVVVVVVVVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Inuyasha/Kagome interaction may be at its very best in this fic. Inuyasha has to get on Kagome's good side without going out of character on her. And Kagome has to trust/care for him even after everything he already said to her.
Kikyou...poor, poor Kikyou. :( You're making me feel very very very sad for her. Isn't there anyway she can get away? Yes, I know the world doesn't work like that but it's breaking my heart!
And I think that Sessh is more attracted to Kagura (in addition to seeing her as useful) and sees Rin ONLY as being useful. I am going to get angst when Sesshy falls in love with one of them? Or is he going to be an example of how Inuyasha thinks he should be with women (using them only for information and not getting attached).
We need some Sango/Miroku action next chapter! They are awesome in this fic!

GREAT chapter. I really loved the interaction between Kagome and Inuyasha in this one. I'm glad that Kagome slapped the shit out of him at the beginning; he DEFINITELY deserved it. But, he redeemed himself so well at the end of the chapter that I don't know what to think. He is a self-serving asshole, no doubt.....but he has such a SWEET side that you just can't help but love him, LOL. I REALLY love your depictions of Inuyasha....even when he's being a complete jerk, you love him death in your stories!
As for Kikyo.....I REALLY hope that she gets to bust a cap in somebody's ass before the end of the story. Yes, she is a complete skank and yes, she put herself in this position by taking up with someone as evil as Bankotsu. But NOBODY deserves this. I hope she shoots Renkotsu and especially Bankosu's dicks off by the end, SINCERELY.

lord, even with block you churn out great chappies! sweet pea! i love it. i can't wait to see how far kags gets under yashies skin. he's gonna have his hands full with her. i don't think he really knows what to do with a true sweetheart. and kikyou. lord, did that girl get in WAY over her head. i still can't feel that much for rin. she's been way too self serving and hasn't yet shown a softer side. yeah, she's been through hell, but kagura would have kept her out of trouble if she would have taken the chance.

Kikyou is getting a newsflash. her first lover, the one sessie dispatched, treated her like a queen, but now she's seeing what men like that are really like when they don't give a shit. AHH, I can't stand it, it's so good. The web of lies and deceit surrounding everyone,geez. Everyone is burying some type of pain with deep dark secrets. I'm saddened by Rin's character, she's so weak willed and conniving, it's just pathetic. Sesshomaru ain't fooling nobody by assigning Inuyasha to Bedtime Stories. His demand is a double edge sword intent on getting inside info but also more important to get his brother out of his self-imposed relationship exile. It's sweet brotherly love,just hope it works out. Kagome and Inuyasha make me laugh, they're so already into each other and fighting so hard against a losing battle. Sango and Miroku, what a mess, when she finds out his real calling, uggh, kill time. If this story was a guy, I'd propose and marry it, that's how much I LOVE IT. Hope to read more soon, your amazing grrl.

You're right on the mark too. Everyone has some sort of painful secret, and when stuff starts coming out, the shitstorm will be crazy. I think Rin is getting to everyone that reads this story. I just refused to make her this sugary chick like all the other stories. I set out to show that even the nicest girl in the IY universe (next to Kagome) can be gritty! ^_^
