Kiki! I love your little remarks in this chapter; they’re so cute and funny. Like the one where InuYasha should have taken up Yoga because then he could put his head where it belongs. ^^
Oh wow, this chapter was much darker than the last. It sounds like you’re about to wrap this story up in the next few chapters…! Nooo. I love this story. I was hanging on with every word with this chapter.
I hope you update soon because I’m on the edge of my seat right now. It’s good that Bankotsu has his plane ticket but I’m not sure if you’re going to let Koga miss the chance to get Bankotsu. Hopefully Kagome won’t get caught up in the cross fire!
It’s amazing that Kagome didn’t cause any accidents during her road rage, though she almost did.
I can’t wait for another chapter Kiki! Keep up the great work. <3

There are still a few things to reveal, and then we can put a bow on it. And to be honest, the dark, angsty stuff is what I've been dying to get to all along. Errrrrgh ... you really know how to frustrate a girl, you know that?
It's a good frustration though ... I think. All the characters are definitely ribbing on my nerves in this chapter; I've never been so frustrated with so many characters at once. Kagome with her "oh woe-is-me" bi-polar with bitch; maybe if she offered some honesty to Inuyasha, he'd offer her some of the same. Then Kouga the womanizing, abusing asshat; I just want to throttle him. Then there's Ayame - the woman who is so totally dependent on Kouga, I think to some extent she knows she needs out, but still wants Kouga so she does whatever he says. Bankotsu, alright, so I'll give him that it's part of his job to be sneaky and slightly greedy, but daaaaaamn. Sesshomaru is just a pompous ass who needs to clear up his peripherals and realize Kagome's not her father. Inuyasha ... I'm finding him to be the male version of Ayame in a way, he's just so soft and emotional.
I think the only one I am not currently frustrated with is Rin. Anyway, now that I've totally bitched about how I don't like your characters, I have to say: you wrote them beautifully and flawlessly. It's good to be frustrated with characters sometimes, as opposed to always loving them. That way, the reader can really get the character development and potentially begin to sympathize, and knowing you and your writing style, I'll definitely begin to sympathize with at least one of these personalities.
Excellent work, my dear. I anticipate the next chapter with much enthusiasm!

I agree, they're all really choke-worthy, especially Kouga. I think he's the biggest asshole. :P Kagome, well, she's complex, sorta. She wants to just drop everything and fall hard, but she's afraid, so she takes every chance she can to find a reason to pull back. InuYasha is almost in the same boat. He looks for every excuse to fall harder, but he also has a bit of a hero complex. He has to realize that he can't save everyone. Ayame is a victim that needs a push. Whether it's in the right direction or off of a cliff, who knows? xD Bank is a greedy hobag. Nuff said. next chap should be kinda fun, though. See, while this fic has a gang of sex, I don't enjoy writing that part. I enjoy writing the angst and conflicts, so, for me, the story just got good. 0.~

Nice...seriously! The plot is thickening in a lovely thick gravy...yummy. I love IY's and Rin's interactions. I had a feeling Kagome was going to be in the neighborhood somewhere to observe. "Kaze Corp" and Kagura ^^ And I'm impressed by the business talk...better than I can do for sure! This was a great update. I can see the angsty road ahead, but can't wait for the next installment.

it's not so much the waiting but i feel that you get a better grasp of the story and attached to the characters when there's more content to go by - which makes the waiting easier in a sense.
btw, i really liked rin and inuyasha's interaction in this chapter
hope you get an inspiration for future chapters - but i know you have a lot of stories going on. speaking of which i've been seeing stories popping out that's dealing with the same issues as knife of a romance - i'll always remember you as the original though :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I didn't intend to add Rin at first, but then I figured she'd be a fun addition to the gang. And really? I'm not that shocked by the KOR thing. I started seeing a few myself after I started that story. There isn't anything in fandom that isn't stolen or redone by someone else. Still sucks, though. I mean, I know someone out there has had to have done this before me, but I console myself with the knowledge that they're not me. :)

I can't give anything away, but yeah, you can kind of guess what Kagome dealt with when you see Kouga in action. And... did I mention that Ayame is THE Ayame InuYasha dated in high school? Haha...
Kagome is a character that you either love or hate. She's got a lot of shit with her, yet you can feel sorry for her (and you will) because you find out why she's so messed up.
InuYasha is my baby. <3 He can do no wrong. (Gosh, do you remember when I used to say that all the time??) InuYasha can burn the entire fiction and he's still a GOD. He pwns all. :P
Sesshomaru is a bad guy, but not entirely. That's all I can say.
Rin, funny that you like her. In reality, I hate Rin, adult Rin, in just about everything. I don't even know why I still write her in my fictions. >.> But I know a few people like her in this, so I guess my abhorrence of her doesn't show. :D

Wow, an update. I wasn't expecting this and I'm glad that you decided to continue on with some of your fanfics and the writer's blocks are somewhat slowly going away, which means more updates. I like it so far and I look forward to reading the next chapter. I like the use of the song in the last line. Also, Kouga can be such an ass, and damn, I cannot believe you did that to Kagome and Inuyasha. It is getting more angsty and I love it. I love the drama. Now, that Kagome thinks that Inuyasha is seeing other girls, what will happen next between the two? What about this Kaze meeting? What about Kagome? Did she just quit? So many questions and I look forward to reading the next chapter. Keep writing and updating!!!
