This was so heartbreaking to read. =( Their loneliness, their pain, their heartache...it's so overwhelming. But then in the end - the tiny spark of hope - you really know how to wring a person's emotions InuGrrrl lol. You say that you couldn't write what you meant to, but I think this chapter came out great.

inugrrrl you are an amazing writer. I am more interested in books you write than the books I buy from a book store. You add twists beautifully. I love the conflict and the innocent relationship Inuyasha and Kagome have. They have so much to learn together. Wonderful read, this is my favorite story ever. I have been reading it for years and you still seem to amaze and surprise me with each chapter. I am in love with Inuyasha's character. Thank you for sharing your beautiful mind. I haven't been around much to read or review cause of limited internet access. I was suprised to see I was two chapters behind. :) Thanks for the updates!

Yayyy!!! I was so excited that you updated this story because this is probably one of my favorite stories ever! I've said this before, but I love how much attention is given to Kouga. I have no clue how his story line is gonna play out, but I like him more and more each chapter. I think you did a really good job conveying both Inu and Kagome's thoughts on what happened in the last chapter, and I'm glad that Kagome thought things over and hopefully she can fix her relationship with Inuyasha because I hate seeing him sad :'(.

I really like the way you did InuYasha's grammar and what-not. I've read a lot of stories with the "wild child" kind of theme in them, but you're the first one that took into account how much not having any other people around for so long can really affect someone. In my opinion, it makes his exchanges with Kagome even more endearing. And its just so cute watching him try to go about courting her "properly" like his mother had taught him (or am I just assuming that she had taught him??? I hope not...)

I love love love the ending! I"m worried at how depressed he got, and stayed away, but its understandable. His first relationship with a human since his mother and this is what happened? I want to give him a hug and feed him soup. I'm very glad that Kagome realized her mistaken reaction, and that he was probably just as afraid as she was, and he feels guilty for it now. When she made him a bowl of porridge and put it out in his spot, I think I forgave her finally. I hope he can, too. I'm super worried about what will happen with Kouga though. Hopefully Kagome does take the opportunity to study some animal/human anatomy and medicine, so she can help InuYasha understand himself better, as well. Thanks so much for the update!

gahhh!!! another cliff hanger! lol. but im glad kagome calmed down after a while and i thought it was so touching (? not sure if that's the word im looking for haha) when she was worrying about him, definitely tugged a little bit at my heart strings there. and i got to say the weather during the kagome and inuyasha parts definitely looked like it fit both of their moods. anyways cant wait for the next update!
ohh and in other news, hope you had a great new years and holiday! also i hope your friend is doing better!

I was caught the moment she walked into the forest! This first chapter kind of reminds me of fairy tales- not the sugar-coated ones, but the romantic, bittersweet, more realistic and gripping ones that make people laugh and cry.
I wish my eyes would stay open so I could read more chapters!
