Dun dun dun!!! Kagome has no clue that Kouga has a thing for her already, and poor InuYasha isn't going to know how to handle it. It's not like he can challenge him the way he would in the animal kingdom. Not only that, but Kouga can offer Kagome all of these things that InuYasha is afraid he can't provide, and that she'll need them, or at least want them. Kagome is going to be so clueless it's going to frustrate the crap out of him! This is going to be great!!! I hope that writing is getting easier, because you have me so hooked on this one now too!

I love how they get so much more communication done when they aren't speaking. It shows how well they can read each other, and you did an extraordinary job of that in this chapter. I'm really glad that InuYasha wanted her to understand that he did know what love meant, and he showed her, even though he didn't have the vocabulary to do so.

Oh lord, she's going to feed him vanilla cake? No way he'll ever love someone else now! I have no idea how she'll be able to deal with the Doc and Mrs. when they find out about him...it makes me worry!! Also, I really like the relationship between him and his wolf. I like how you have them settle their dispute and how well they understand each other. It's a wonderful addition to the story you're teling.

Omg. I can totally see myself trying to rescue a bear cub and getting myself mauled or killed for it -_- cuz that's how I roll. I love that as soon as InuYasha needed confirmation that they were supposed to be together that he got it! Not only that, but also got confirmation that he is supposed to protect her because she gets herself into trouble. I was so relieved that they didn't kill the Mama bear too! Now, she just has to nurse him back to health and get along with his wolf, and help him remember how to speak. Can't wait to see how this all plays out!

There was such a huge range of emotion in this chapter, coming from them both. Inuyasha is so hopeful and so afraid; I think this is a great fic where you captured his insecurities very well. Kagome on the other hand, is kind of clueless to the reality of the situation that a half demon is pseudo courting her and she accepted him. Lol. Gotta love communicatin barriers!

This is such a cute chapter, so full of hope and a little mystery on Kagome's part. I think it shows her kind nature very well, in that she wants to show her appreciation to her benefactor. Then of course the flashbacks of his mother were so touching! I can picture a little Inuyasha with his Mama making stew together. Awwwww!!! I don't think I've read this one all the way through, so I'm starting back here to get to your update. I'm glad I did because I'd forgotten about his wolf companion too! Gotta love the wolf speak they have lol.
