I really am in love with this story. The concept is amazing, and it's quite touching. Your writing always seems so utterly human, and this story is no exception.

I love the fact that you have really gone into Inuyasha's past to show why he is the way he is. So many authors never do that and it's always slightly irked me. 

Anyways I'm loving this story, it has a great potential, and I have no doubt that you will live up to it.

I finally got a break from school work XD This chappy was sooo kawaii!! Kinda got mad at kagome for getting so scared over inu, even more so that he was worried about that same behaivour she had.

but all is well now, ne? Well hopefully! ^__^ and i saw you updated KOR... O.O I'm a happy inu lover! *squee* tho am leaving it for last *Sigh* the agony of waiting, lol

As I started reading this chapter, something from very long ago came back from memory.

I remember a story very similar to this. I was but a very young girl when my grandfather told it to me.

Djeda would tell me a story about a young waif who had to live like this beside a magical forest. The similarities are absolutely amazing.

He told me that his older cousin, Anastasia, (a few years before she disappeared; some say she was killed, others swore that she had been sent to the 'states') was the one that had taught him this particular story while he was just a toddler himself.

Her grandmother had told it to her.

I'm sure that it's just a coincidence, but it's still remarkable.

Well, it has taken me longer than I thought to review this. I really like this story, I think out of the ones waiting on updates, this one tends to be my favorite. Its kinda a little like Junglebook, in the idea it was just him and the wolf. God I cant wait to read the first kiss.....uggg, its so tragically romantic!

Yay! They finally meet! Even though this chapter isn't exactly what you wanted, I still thought it was great. I was so frustrated by how both InuYasha and Kagome acted.

When InuYasha gave up, I wanted to cry because I thought they weren't going to meet. Although, I felt so sad about how little he thought of himself.

And then Kagome, I was completely surprised by the way she acted. But it was realistic so I wasn't that annoyed. I mean, I would be afraid too if a stranger just ran off with me. Anyways, this was another great update and I hope you can finish the next chapter soon! :)

You may not have like this chapter, but I did. I hope that you will update soon.

I have always marveled at the way youre able to describe something so vividly. Whether it be a simple conversation, a fight scene, heh... a lemon *grins*...  to an action scene such as this one. You never cease to amaze me with your tellings.

Hermana!!! I really loved the chapter!!! the end was so cute, and so was the cub!!! InuYasha like always is so awesome... I like the way you portray him in your fic because is the same way I see him... and I wanted to slap Kagome for the way she acted towards InuYasha in the begnnig... but I will try to understand her XD...

I had no idea that so many were annoyed with Kagome -haha. But a man with dog ears is a little weird, ne? lol. I'm happy you liked it. It wasn't quite what I wanted, but I'll try to fix that with the next chap since I don't have as much block. You like COCA?! That makes me soooo happy! *huggles* They rawk -they're my all time faves now. xoxo

Hi, girl!  Thanks so much for the dedication.  But, as I told you before, giving credit where credit is due is not hard to do. 

As for this chapter........YES!  They finally met.  And fate intervened so that they would......because Inuyasha was going to give up before he even officially met her.  And his logic for that could just break your heart!  He is such a terrific guy.....and his mother DEFINITELY raised him right.  But, the world has been so cruel to him, it's no wonder that he doesn't believe he's worth anything.  Now that Kagome is finally with him (or at least at his house), maybe she'll be able to show him how terrific he really is.

I must say, though, that Kagome got on my nerves a bit in this chapter, especially when he first rescued her.  Uhh!  I just wanted to snatch her baldheaded when she started screaming at him after he saved her from a damn BEAR!  She bounced back at the end, but when they first met.....MAN she needed punching.  Of course, in fairness to her, she had just been attacked by a BEAR.....so rationality would be a bit hard to come by (to say the least).  So, I'll cut her SOME slack.  BUT, it WAS annoying, lol. 

I look forward to seeing where you take this next, especially since you said you know where you want it to go.  Thanks again for the dedication!
