I LOL'd when Inuyasha burst in; I was expecting it, but I still LOL'd. xD What a completely awkward situation.
One thing I love about this story is your language. Very eloquent and, er, "old-timey", haha. It really helps set the scene. Personally, I don't mind when stories are set in olden times and the dialogue uses modern slang. I find it kind of amusing, actually. But I find that I prefer this more realistic style of dialogue much more.
Yayyy, I love LLW. It actually introduced me to the band AFI when I first read it a looong time ago. Thank you!

I sometimes have to catch myself, or I'll use a word or two that's from this century, but other than that, I usually flow well with their speech. It's just putting the rest of the chapter together that's a pain! XD
And I'm glad you like AFI. They're pretty underrated, so it's awesome that I got them one more fan. ^^

Oh dear, I think I felt faint at the last sentence. Inuyasha's being attacked from all sides :( and the trouble seems to be just beginning. I cross my fingers for a happy ending to this tale and hope the king receives one good punch to the face before this is all over :)

Great chapter, Inugrrrl! I really like this story. I love how InuYasha is just so dashing and romantic. Kagome's lucky. Not only that, but I love how Toga is creating such a challenge for InuYasha and Kagome. I feel bad for Kiyoko. It's so heartwrenching that she had to show Kagome the document Toga wanted her to agree on. It's like the last thing a mother would want to tell her daughter. :(
Towards the end when we found out Sesshoumaru was missing reallyyy got me offguard! I wasn't expecting that to happen whatsoever.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter! X)

This story actually grew a bit of legs. It's going as I always planned, but there are a couple of things that's going to happen that I didn't originally have in mind. Hopefully, that will add a bit more to the overall story before it ends (about 2-3 chapters more. Less if I create bigger chaps). Hopefully, but will end up be a satisfying little read. ^___^ Thanks for the awesome!

Okay, first of all I started whispering "omg omg omg" to myself when I saw that you had updated this! But I was expecting something horrible to happen because the last chapter was so wonderful so I just knew that there would be troubles ahead next.
Well, if Sesshomaru is dead then that means... ?!? Oh no, I'm praying for a happy end ;__; I feel really sorry for InuYasha and Kagome, they are just two people who love each others, what can they do about their states? I thought Toga would show at least some mercy for them but that's just pure selfishness. Oh dear...
Chapter was great like always though. thanks for updating I was really happy ^^

Aww! I had a feeling that Sesshoumaru was in trouble! I hate this....but it sure adds drama, lol. And as for Toga...what a sadistic asshole! Just what does he hope to accomplish by making his son miserable? It's awful that Izayoi died in childbirth, but how does mistreating his son, Izayoi's son, make it better? If anything, he insults her memory by not honoring the sacrifice she made, the twisted bastard. But, now that Sesshoumaru is gone, maybe just maybe Toga will grow a soul. But I definitely won't hold my breath.

Oh no Sess!! I believe in him though :). At the moment, I really don't know who I feel worse for, Kagome or Inuyasha. Why can't life just be like rainbows and go the way everyone wants? You're pulling at my heartstrings girl! But I absolutely love it!
The picture of baby Kagome and Inuyasha made me squeal! It is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life!

As for the story, well, times are tough in Taisho land, eh? It took me ages to get this chapter to go the way i wanted it, too, and I was surprised I was able to pick it back up at all. My hope is to start getting better with updating so the suspense won't take so long!

OH MY GOD. I was relatively calm reading this chapter you know 'cause (for the most part at least) everything was pretty sweet. They're living in a cute little cabin and cuddling and then there was all of Inuyasha's fluffy thoughts on Kagome. All of that just made me so, so, so happy. I just love them to bits and I wish Inuyasha's dad wasn't such a prick 'cause he was totally a mood killer. He's such a douche, but there has to be a douche in every story or else there wouldn't ... really be a story. 0_0
I thought the drama would just involve Toga's interference between Inuyasha and Kagome, but then you hit us with that cliffhanger! I mean REALLY. You know what? I take that back. I think there was like multiple hits at the end. I mean, we find out Sesshomaru's disappeared, then... "This is not sand." Toga's head rose while Ariwara and Hiroshi watched intently. "I-It's ash," he swallowed thickly, "ash from a funeral pyre." OMFG. 0__________0 THAT last line just .. just... was $(#@($*@*#@*$&#*%&@
Insane. Kuhray. Ohmahgah. What is going on? What it going to happen.. I'm totally wetting my bed over here. How do you even come up with these killer cliffies? You're like the queen of the killler-cliffs. THE QUEEN. You know just how to get us to wet ourselves. How? How do you know?
Over spring break, I went on a rereading spree just going through and rereading favorites. I feel guilty now 'cause I actually forgot to reread this one. It's one of your sweeter ones. They're just so romantic and it isn't too heavy with drama. I'm a little scared though. I think after this chapter, there's going to be a wholeeee 'lot more drama smacking us in the face. I'm preparing myself over here. I am. XD
Everytime I see any updates from you waiting in my inbox, I'm always caught offgaurd. I wouldn't have said that today was anything special for, but after this update I definitely consider this a good day. Anytime you update, that day is made special. Does that make sense? I couldn't really think of a better way to put it, but uh.. hope that was clear enough. XD

As always, your reviews always slap a big grin on my face. Thanks SO much for that. *glomps* I've been working on this chapter for 5 days, at least, and endured a LOT of rewrites. I have zero inspiration right now and I'm literally forcing it out for fear that I won't write again if I don't. Writing just isn't as fun as it used to be. Combine my carpal and it's heading into nightmares. But I want to finish my stories for you guys, so an awesome review like this is a strong motivator. You are the awesome!
I can't give hints. There's literally 2 chapters left to this, so it's too close to give anything away. This was supposed to be finished ages ago, and as usual, I lolly-gagged until we're years later. >.> So I want to hurry it along. I may update this again before I start another. I may not, but if the inspiration is there, I'm gonna go for it. (Wish me luck!) The Sess thing was an evil cliffhanger, but I swear, I'm not the queen of cliffies! I actually try not to do them that often because they're frustrating for the reader. However, I'm starting to change my mind because as the writer, they give me a nice "jump off" point. So I'm not a cliff queen yet, but I'll probably be one soon. XD

Sigh...another wonderful, heartwarming chapter ^^ You really are an artist. The playful banter, their rising emotions, the turn-of-the-century-esque speech...you capture it so well. But I especially loved 2 lines that seem to stand above the rest: "like a kitten with a new ball of yarn, he wished to entangle himself in her." LOL, the imagery! I've never read anything quite like it - so whimsical and playful yet passionate at the same time! =D And the other touching line: "They had finally added the last ingredient to their recipe for complete happiness." I think that was such a beautiful and simple ending to the culmination of their desires. So perfect. Dare I hope for future chapters?

You can definitely look forward to more chapters. Well, at least 1-2 more. This story is about to wrap up. I have no idea why it's not complete... probably due to my waning interest in writing and my carpal tunnel. But I do want to finish this one because I enjoy what I've done with it thus far. I admit that endings and I have a love/hate relationship, though, so whenever I get close to dealing with one, I have loads of trouble. However, I'm hoping this one will give me a break. :D

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. I loved how "Lord Stuffy" stood up for Inuyasha to his father. It's so refreshing to have Sess as the loving older brother.
And that line - "kismet has declared me the youngest" - kismet is such a unique word, and so fun to say ^^ A weird thing to get excited about, I know >.<
I'm so glad that Inu and Kags found a way to be together. Officially, all marriage is is a piece of paper - a couple's feelings about each other shouldn't change regardless of their ability to marry (although that's slightly more complicated in this case because of the era and the royalty issue). So I'm glad that they recognized the one option that will let them be happy and then took it =)
Another great chapter, can't wait to read more.

I haven't finished the chapter yet, but I just got this weird vibe that's Sesshoumaru won't be returning in one month's time... or ever. If I'm right, that mondo sucks (yes, I use the word 'mondo', deal with it XP). Right when he seems like a halfway decent guy in this fic, too.
On that note, I have to comment of the Character's OOCness. Yeah, yeah, I know, growing up in different circumstances and all that jazz...
My internet usually goes haywire around this hour, so I'm dropping in my review early just in case.

P.S. It sorta surprised me when I realized that InuYasha was the one with the Eppe and SESSHOUMARU with the saber (you spelled saber wrong in the beginning, btb).
It's just that Eppe is known for requiring more control, while sabers are usually given to the wildcards - less rules. Interesting playup.
