WOAH!
I was not expecting this yo go into a rated R (i read your warning but I didn't believe it till' I read it!!!) !!! And probably a most perfect mixture of beautiful writing I have ever read!!!! I'm so proud of you! This is gorgeous piece of work and their language and love is so sophisticated and refined. It's so different and fresh. My favorite was the writing between Kiyoko and Inuyasha. It was fantasic, like I could see that seen in a movie ^_^
And for current new,
I am having a good time relaxing and reading your updates! I take my summers seriously and when I mean relax I mean bake cookies, lots of cookies :) But more importantly how are you? But I had fun penning this chapter, really. I like the language used in it and, dare I say, the fluffiness. However, angst will always have my heart.

Eep.... I completely missed this... Erm... I'm kind of speechless really... It was that good. Inuyasha really needs to grow a pair though, instead of whinging like some emo kid. If he can beat Sesshoumaru in a sword fight, he can marry Kagome and tell the royal people where to stick it. Even if his father disowned him, he has the future king on his side, so what does he really have to lose?

I love InuKago AU stories, especially if they're historical in another sense, but...the stories where he's royalty and she has no other means of being with him other than as mistress (though there are very few), well...those make me upset. Author's Response: Well, I have to say the story is how it is. :) The next chap is the last, but in most situations, that is how things tend to go. Royalty usually ends up with royalty OR they end up with a mistress. So, it's up to you if you want to continue on. Thanks for reading!

You know, it actually a harder thing said than done, the idea of being with someone without the tagline for marriage. You did a great job of conveying the fact that the both of them gotta have a lot o' love between one another to agree upon that decision.

Oh! Inugrrrl! This is perfection! Like every story you write!! I was giggling madly at InuYasha telling his brother he's got the bigger sword! I love it! *snickers* The description of the fencing and the wonderful 'rapier' wit jousting between the two was such a purring delight! I could see the moves as if I was there watching! Hearing the creaks, squeaks and thumps of movement! The sounds of the swords meeting! Mega WHOOT!!
At first, I thought the 'reward' was something big and OMG!-ish... but it was for Kagome's Apple pie I laughed! That was so adorable! I could definitely picture it! The fierce masculine determination for the Victory and then the shining boyish enthusaism for the slice of pie! Wonderful! And then the snippy remark of removing Sesso's hands if he touched his pie! I think I hurt my side when I laughed!
I loved it when Sesshoumaru spoke to his brother heart to heart and gave him his approval/blessings with Kagome. So sweet! Lord Stuffy! Oh my! LOves that!! As good as Lord Anal! *snickers*
That was priceless! The way InuYasha lost the goal of protecting his pie once Kagome showed up and he went into "Hojo" mode! *falls over laughing* At least he is much more masculine and macho about it! And the way Kagome starting butting heads right back at him!
Oh! Sesshoumaru snuck a slice of pie! and like a little child is trying to inhale it before he gets caught! Just like men!
I can see all this as if it was happening in real life! And that is magical! The way I can feel the emotions! See the scenes! Live the story! *sighs happily* I going say this... This is better than a 'Chick Flick'! LOL..
I do love so much the realism of their status affecting their love and how they accepted they could never be married but I was soooooo incredibly teary-eyed by Kagome's words "I'd rather be your wife under the Laws of our hearts..." I could hear Sting's The Secret Marriage: "No Earthy church has ever blessed our union. No State granted us permission. No treaty over border land or power.. The Secret Marriage vow is never spoken, The Secret Marriage never can be broken.."*bawls happily* I love it so much! The way they both acknowledge the truths and the love!
*Giggles* I do love that Angst when Kagome said she saw Inu as her best friend and Inu getting heartbroken.. then when Kagome said she loves him!!
And their first kiss!! OMG!! OMG!! I was on cloud nine! and seeing rainbows! LOL! What a kiss! How do you do it? Write every kiss in such a beautiful, unique and Amazing ways? Like it is the first kiss everytime or for every level of passion and love? *swoons*
I love the way Yura also gave Kagome her encouragement. And how Sesshoumaru remained true to himself and his family without losing himself in his title and duties!! I was cheering him for ripping his father a new one! Kudos! It was something Toga needed to hear! Now if he heard it remains to be seen.
Though I did want to bend him over a chair and whip his butt with the snotty cold way of addressing InuYasha's feelings and his heart.Yes, the king did fail... he had lost himself to his crown and his duties.
The King has the power to give Kagome and her mother a 'title'... doesn't he?

What a review! Thank you so very much! When I update tis I always worry if you'll like it. I mean, I love hearing that the lovelies enjoyed it, but you're the giftee, so it's really important to me taht you enjoy it -and you did. WOO HOO! I tried to show more insight on the relationships between the characters, while still keeping the focus on Yasha and Kags and how their romance sort of affects everyone around them.
And I wanted their bet to be silly. :P I liked the idea of a serious duel for something as silly as a pie because it shows that they siblings are playful in spite of being competitive.
And you flatter me! You like my kisses! They give me hell, lol. Every. Time. I try to bring that feeling of a first kiss each time (cause it usually is :P) and always hope that it doesn't suck, but if you enjoy them, then I know that I haven't ruined them just yet.rn

Wow. GREAT chapter. It gave us everything we wanted in terms of relationships. I absolutely loved the brotherly stuff with Inuyasha and "Sesso". I can't get enough when those two act like real brothers. And no one could ask for more than you gave of that here. It was TERRIFIC. Sessh's leaving had a bittersweet feel, though, more than a little bit ominous. I hope I'm just being paranoid (this is the Queen of Angst we're dealing with here ^__^), but it seemed awfully lot like permanent good bye stuff. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Because that would screw thing up in more ways than one for Inu and Kags (as if things aren't screwed up enough already, lol).
I'm also glad that Sesshoumaru told Toga off. He really needed to hear the things Sessh told him. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it reached Toga too much. His only thought after all that was that Sessh would have cooled off by the time he got back, not the regret he should have been feeling for neglecting his younger son so shamefully. What a self-absorbed jerk. I really hope he can redeem himself at some point, because I was none too pleased with his old butt at the end of this, lol.
And, finally, the Inuyasha and Kagome stuff. Sweet, romantic, passionate. Everything we could have hoped for. And, the thing I really like about these two is that they know full well what they're getting into. Both are fully aware of the forbidden nature of the relationship, the unfortunate limits that go with it, and the potential consequences. Yet, they are willing to sacrifice respectability to be together. Unfortunately, Kagome will bear the brunt of it (the woman always does, darn double standards), but they obviously think it's worth it. And seeing how much they love each other, who could blame them. Great as always, girl. And thanks again for writing even if you're not into that much right now. It is a real treat.

Toga had it coming, didn't he? What an ass! I actually enjoyed the exchange between him and Sessie. I wanted him to look like the jerk he was. Hmph. I also liked writing Yash and Kags' interactions. I rewrote those parts like 6 times >.< and I still wasn't completely happy, but since you guys enjoyed it, I feel a lot better. The dialogue is different for me, since I usually write "modern/slang" stuff, but I'm okay with the way that part came out, so I won't make a fuss. :P

OK, am at a lose for words here, lol. Am just so loving and enjoying the characters as you've written them, and the plot has got me goin as well. And you always say you don't do humor, but I beg to differ now, lol... The teasing in the opening scene was great, but with Sess and the thieving of Inu's pie was awesome, lmao.
Now, whats the Nanny to say upon their arrival back, I wonder. As for the Toga ans Sesshomaru? Should be interesting on the amount of shit that's gonna be fanned from that alone.
But all makes for a grand story, for which I await on bated breath for the last instalment. *bows*
