Insomnia & Pulp.
I’m so tired. >.< I have insomnia again. Have had it for a long while, but lately it's been pretty heinous. I've had, like, 12 hours of sleep over 3 days. I even woke up too early today. WTF?! I'm really going to try to get better with that by keeping myself awake and trying to get to be early tonight, cause really, this sucks. Though, and this has been the case from the time I started, I write my best when I'm tired. Not ‘swaying for dear life’ tired, but ‘ready to sleep’ tired. For some reason, that oddball time is when my mind decides to cooperate.
*shakes mah fist*
So, you guys should know that the next chapter of If I Want To will probably be done today, and yeah, I shot my 4000 cap limit to hell. I knew I would eventually -haha- but I’m going to try to get back on the wagon with the next chap. It’s just that a lot is happening on our first day peek into their lives and the day simply ain’t done yet. That’s why I’m reluctant to say exactly how many chapters I think this will be. At this rate, these first 3.5 chapters will be spanning just one day. O.O
And I want to thank you guys for such great reviews! (Abbs, you rock!) I’m so happy that my crazy, little take on High School -yet again- is giving y’all a good time. I’m having fun penning it, too, so it’s a treat to see the comment luv! I’ve also gone and done what I said I wouldn’t do -plotted out, almost in its entirety, everyone’s story. Remember this is a slice of life, manga-style fanfic (Did y’all notice the “manga-ness” of it?), so while it’s 2 months in the life of a gang of rich brats, there will be some over-the-top stuff (Don’t I always?), power plays, arguments, fights, misunderstandings, secrets, facades, and of course, smut! Should be a fun read if it all goes according to plan. Also, in the tradition of EoS and BTG, there will always be lots of scene-jumping. There will be a lot of characters making appearances, too, but rest assured, the story is centered around IK and the “core four”. (You know who I mean! xD)
Okay, that’s all y’all are getting!
I want to work on other stories, especially stuff I owe people, but my head isn’t working for anything but this story right now. I have no idea why I get into these swings where I can only write one thing, but I eventually fall back to the rest, so don’t worry. Plus, I totally wanna show y’all the new skins, so I’ll definitely update others in coming weeks. But for the time being, I’m doing this one and being happy that I’m in the mood to write anything at all. ‘Cause lately…
Aight, DaGrrrl is out! Since I’m up earlier than I want to be, I’m going to try to finish this chapter by this evening and I’ll post immediately after. 😀
EDIT: I ended up falling asleep. Hehe… chapter will probably post by morning. :F
