Been Busy, But Still Around.
I’ve been a little busy, and haven’t gotten much done in the way of writing, but I’m going to try to get something done this weekend. I didn’t expect to not update in close to a month, but yeah. I guess shit happens. That said, my schedule will be changing soon and I’ll be even busier, but I do plan to try and get writing in. I don’t know how frequent the posts will be, but I won’t be abandoning my stories, so don’t worry. If I could finagle an update per week, I’d be really happy with that.
With that said, just looking at the coming months shows me with certainty that I won’t make my retirement date without leaving a bunch of stories unresolved. Therefore, I’m tentatively putting that plan on hold. I don’t relish the thought of leaving so much of my work incomplete, and not just because I don’t want to disappoint y’all, but because I want to finish at least most of what I started. There’s no expiration date on my fiction, so I guess I shouldn’t create one, huh?
I think I have to go back to small word counts again (and stick with it). It saves my hands and my time, but ultimately, it’s going to make the stories longer in terms of chapter length. Do y’all care? Probably not as long as the stories see completion (I agree!). So, expect chapters that are 3-4k at the most. Also expect a lot of cliffies. >.> (It’s inevitable since I’m making myself stop at a certain word count).
That’s about it for now. Oh, and did you see Chris Brown at the VMAs? Horrible show, as usual, but his performance was amazing. Go see it on YouTube. He was so much fun! *squee*
