WIP EXPLOSION, BABY! O.O
Yeah, so, it has occurred to me that I’m not doing the right thing with Absolution.
The point of having your own archive is to post all of your work, EVERYTHING, because it’s your house. Regardless of how many stories you have out, or whatever, it’s your shit to do whatever the hell you want, am I right?
I’ve always refrained from posting everything I write (loads of shit on my HD) because I don’t want people to be like, “She started another story and didn’t finish X-Y-Z”, but I’m not doing that anymore.
From now on, I’m going to post every-fucking-thing I decide to write before I bid this farewell. Yeah, there is a method to my update madness. I want to finish what I care about before I decide I won’t be doing this anymore. Giftfics are at the top of the list with my personal faves next, and ones that I don’t love anymore (SMC, Pretty Brown Eyes, ETC) will get done, when/if I’m feeling it.
I don’t like the thought of never completing something, but I’m being realistic. When I don’t love a story, it’s very hard for me to finish. I start off liking some and loving others, but then they get batshit with me 😛 and I don’t want to touch them anymore. So, apologies in advance if something you like doesn’t get completed and I hope y’all stick around to see the conclusions I do come up with as well as all of the new shit.

And MASSIVE thanks goes to my peeps that left reviews for Silk Stalking and a few of the other stories that saw love this week. A lot of people come to my site, but it’s like pulling fucking teeth to get them to ever say anything. However, you guys that always take a minute to review the work and leave positive responses (You know who you are!) have my fucking heart! <3 <-- See?! 😀 Tuesday wasn't what I wanted it to be on several levels, but your reviews and birthday wishes really put a smile on my face, so thank you very much. It’s you that I continue to pick up my pen for and I appreciate that you could spare a minute to show me some luv on my day.
And speaking of picking up my pen, I’ll probably be posting a new story sometime tonight. It’s the first chap of what will be 14 chapters in total if I do it the way I’m planning to. I’ll know for sure tonight. It’s a twisty, raunchy tale, so my lovelies that picked ‘lots of lemons and raunchy’ on the poll? Yeah, this one is yours, babes! xD
I’ve got other stuff I’ve been saving to post (back when I cared what people thought of my unfinished stories), so once they’ve been cleaned, you’ll be seeing those, too, as well as two new oneshots (not ready yet) and updates for the following fics:

You should also know that chapters from here on out will be short. It allows me to work on more stuff and get them out faster -hence why so many stories are almost ready to go. I figure, a shorter chapter is better than no chapter at all, so y’all should be cool with it. 😀

Like you said, “It’s your house,” so you do what you think you need/want to do. Personally, I like seeing that e-mail in my inbox saying that you’ve updated/add something new. Just do your thing and have fun doing it (god that was corny and cliche), and I’ll be waiting for that e-mail.

I did close Abi down today >.> won’t get into why, lol. But it’s open now and will most likely stay that way all night. I’m hoping to polish off the first chap of that new story and get it up sometime in the late night, so it *should* be there when you peek tomorrow. And shankies so much for all of the encouragement. I know I always say that, but if you would have been with me from the start, you’d see why I’m always appreciative of support. Fandom has never been that nice to me, so I take my friends where I can get them and do my best for them. The rest? Fuck ’em. 😛
I’ve had a little writing meltdown in the past day or two, hating everything and trashing my skills -it’s been ugly. I find fault with everything I write (maybe because haters have tried to hammer that into my head? Prolly.), but I think I’m over that for now and it’s back to the grind. My stuff will never be perfect. I accept that, and sometimes I miss the mark, but I also need to remember that I’m not a professional. I’m a storyteller who’s been unconventional in the past and likes to write tragedy, angst, and to a lesser degree (though you’d never know it!), smut. I need to stop hating what I put out and remember that this is fun, the “hobby” and not the job. You’d never believe how hard that is to remember. >.<
So, yeah, gonna post EVERYTHING and hope I finish it all, lol. I've also decided that the stuff that I don't complete will get an author note explaining how the ending was supposed to be. It's not the same, but it will at least give y'all some form of closure, ne? <3

So…are we having another “fuck it” party?
Because I think the occasion calls for it 😉
I’ve actually been having mixed thoughts about this, lately, but with respect to my own writing. February saw a few shorts from me but every – single – time I posted or thought about posting, I’d think about sitting on it until after I finish/fix another piece or write something longer/more substantial. Same thing with new ideas, which I’ve had a lot of too. But at the same time, I’ll think about how much fun it was to write a certain piece or if I was kinda proud of it and then, I kinda trick myself xD The writing and posting I’ve done I’ve made sure to do really late at night or early in the morning when I’m about to fall out so that my brain feels WAY too tired to think or second guess ^^ So far, it works pretty well, lol.
And yeees! 😀 Abi is yours and you should be writing whatever you want. Its yours for the decorating! I can’t wait to read the updates – new and old. Irregardless of how many are finished/unfinished, the writing is always entertaining, and Abi/ED/TBR are HAVENS. I can honestly say the existence of all three has shielded me from most of the wank I’m always hearing about, exposing me to authors (including you) that are great reads and genuinely cool people.
Anyway, Happy writing, Grrrl! I hope all is well on your end! (you better be giving those hands of yours some breaks -.O)

I won’t post my originals, but I’ll post my fanfics, so as I complete chaps, regardless of how long it takes, I’ll just pin them on Abi’s wall. Those that come in and show them love, great. If they don’t, great. At this point, it’s the “legacy” that’s important, ya know? When I’m done, I want my full library to be my mark (not that I don’t think I already made one), and the more I post and complete, the better the museum. xD
And you need to post your stuff,Am. Don’t be like me, constantly thinking about word count, substance, grammar -it just weighs you down, kills the process, and you end up never doing it. JUST. DO. IT. It’s fanfic; what’s there to lose?! 😀
And thanks for noticing because I take a lot of pride in the fact that I don’t tolerate wank on any of my sites. Granted, they’re small, niche places, but they get a lot of visitors and I just refuse to let these assheads bring their douchebaggery into the FPF Network. I ban, and quickly. What I’ll never understand, though, is what they get out of being “internet bullies”. The ‘just going post it’ idea sounds like a very sweet and wicked way to go! And if this is making you feel happy and positive towards writing then go for it! I loves libraries filled with lots of good reading materials! Shorter chapters sound like it may be easier for your wrists to enjoy without leaving you in a world of hurt. So CHEERS to your new motto!
I know I’ve been so behind in getting my reviews done. I’m full of suckage on that note. Really wish there were a few more hours in the day to get everything done that needs to be done.

well as usual late to a update, but I some how broke out with a cold sore.. yes those SUCK!! so I have been doctoring it so I can go out in the world again. ( ; _ ; )
Read the new update… still have to do Silk Stockings… hope to get to that today.. I’m definitely ‘just going for it’ because, really, what am I holding back for? o.O We only live ONCE, and who knows when I may decide to stop doing IY? I need to post and have as much fun with this as possible, because eventually, I just want to run the sites and leave my involvement at that. I’ve been saying it for ages, and I know people are like, “That bitch ain’t going nowhere.”, but they never factor in that that might be just what I want them to think. I came into fandom quietly, and I’m going to leave quietly. One day I just won’t be around and that will be that.
And no worries on the giftie! If you make it I’ll love it, and if you never finish it, you’re loved anyway, so it’s all good! Besides, you help a lot at ED and that’s really gift enough! ^_^
