Tina is all caught up! Yea!!! I love this Kiki! I think it may even be on its way to being better than last year! :O I'm kinda sad that I didn't write a story for it...but finals have to come firsst, ne? Speaking of, I got my first final mark back and it was a 92! YEA!!!! Super excited...I hope that economics will be good too, but I'm not JM...
I really like the plot and fairytales...they are so cute. And I like the kids and everybody's relationship with them. Especially the Inu/Touga relationship.

Another day, another de-Lick-ous chapter! Oh Goddess, what wonderful treats you gift us with!!
I think I already know of that Ebil game!! *shudders* and with acute senses of smell!
I love the stubbornstreak in InuYasha! The way he does the sulk! And Kouga... always taunting the underdog...
I nearly fell out of my chair for two reasons.... 1 - tipsy and 2 Ayame ramming that chip into Kouga's mouth with a peck on his cheek!
LOL.. the little ones all looking at Miroku for a story! and their speech manner! So cute!!
Oh mys!! Touga's stress and distress at having his parents seperating has manifested itself into Sesshoumaru Mannerisms! Oh my goodness! I loved the way InuYasha had stepped in to get Touga back to being 'human' and out of robot/glacier mode!
The vision of Mini-Me Sesshoumaru flying backwards courtsey of a pillow and immaculate hair flying made me defintiely fall off chair! I shall cherish that image! and I bet InuYasha wishes he could do the same in real for Sesshoumaru! I adore the way he looks out for everyone he holds in his heart!
Rin is keeping too much to herself! She nees to let it out!
I am cringing about Miroku telling a story... how much lechery will he utter? Or can he be a good boy and use this to get into Sango's good side by being good?
Small whoopies... Was InuYasha holding Touga? then how did Kai get into his arms?
Salome-chan!!: OH! Wow! That is some freaking deep messages! Poor little kids... I wonder how many will have bad dreams from this!
Miroku made big boo-boo! Such a dark tale for little ears to hear and a very touchy subject for peoples.
I can understand why he'd want to do this.. But wow.... holy heck... wow!
Did Miroku mean that Kagura was better with Sesshoumaru? For him to rescue her? Didn't he know it would hurt Rin?
Back to Da Grrrl: ANGST! ooray for ANGST!! Sweet and tastey Angst!! It adds flavour to everything!
I really enjoyed the way it was InuYasha who went and comforted Rin.
Miroku certainly was doing a good thing but didn't think it out carefully enough... I do hope Sango gives hima punishment for hurting Rin so much! andby hurtingTouga by the cascading effect!
I hope he heard how much pain Rin was in as InuYasha comforted her. *goes to comfort Rin*
I do love the way InuYasha told her there was a connection and it was all because of her sweet influence! That final line of his!! He is smart becuase of his mate!

Now, for questions! Yasha wasn't holding Touga, per se. He pulled him over to kiss the top of his head. Then he had his son all hugged up and Touga was watching. Sorry that wasn't more clear. >.< I write it as I see it in my head and sometimes it doesn't come out exactly as it was meant to.
Nopers, Miroku wasn't saying Kagura was better. He was actually saying that (in his opinion) if Naraku had cared about Kagura maybe they would have found something in each other to fulfill their lives. Like everyone else, he thinks Rin belongs with Sess. And it's Xmas, I think Sango will forgive him! xD
I like InuYasha's relationship with Touga a lot. He's very different from Sess, so he provides a bit of a balance and his influence won't allow the kid to be a complete carbon copy.
As far as Rin goes, I wanted Yash to be the one to make her feel better; after all, who knows Sesshomaru better than he does? I think, for her, it's more believable that Sess loves her if it comes from Yasha.
This chappie had a bit of angst, but the next has less, so it will be a bit more lighthearted >.> for now (Cause you know I must revisit the angst!). And I really think you'll enjoy Day Four -I certainly did! ^_^ Thank you for another awesome and very generous review! *hugs* I shall pass the love to Salome!

Nice one. It didn't have a happy ending....but neither did all of the REAL fairytales. And, more importantly, we got some more insight into how the separation from Sesshoumaru has affected Rin and her kids, particularly Touga. It's cute when he acts like his dad...but, as pointed out here, a little sad, too. As Yash said, he's too young to be so old. And he's trying to fill his Dad's big shoes with feet that are too small. As for Rin, her low self-image is understandable. Anyone who has been as submissive as she has for so long (500 years?!) had to have some self-esteem issues. and Yash was just perfect here in explaining to her just how much of a positive effect she has had on her mate. I do wonder again, though, what she could have possibly said that hurt her mate so much that he would leave. It must have been a doozy!
Author's Response: True, True, true. Not all fairytales end nicely, and it was fitting given the characters. I love the way she writes -very deep and meaningful. I was kinda like "... damn." LOL. You're right about Touga, too. Instinct tells him to be the "man" of the house, but he's not ready for that. InuYasha is SO much more laid back than Sess; it's a given that he'd be the one to bring him down (the way he does with his big brother!). Rin is soft, but not the flower she used to be. She's seen enough and dealt with enough to toughen up, but you know what happens when people fly into a rage. They say effed up things they don't mean -but they meant it at the time, lol. Eventually we'll learn more about the fight and see something in their personalities that reveal something kind of funny. :P As always, Ms. Goddess, thanks for a great review!

Wow! That was an interesting spin to put on the story of Cinderella. Miroku's take on Naraku and Kagura was pretty interesting, too. Though not one I think the kids needed to hear, lol.
Anyways, Loved the InuYasha and "T" moments. I almost fell off my seat laughing when Touga started going grammar Nazi on the twins and got hit with a pillow for it! Then the part where he giggled about it afterwards was so adorable. Sweet how InuYasha was the one to make Rin feel better, too. He's just an all-around kind of guy...and I love the way you write him! You really capture the "sweetie" inside that tough exterior of his, and show that his past and present experiences (with him being a loner then finding Kagome) influences the advice he gives.
I can't wait till Sessh and Rin make up. It seems like she finally got closure on the Kagura thing...so thats one insecurity down. I have a feeling there's a couple more. Excellent piece SalomeSensei and Inugrrrl! Till tommorow's chapter!

And you know Miroku; he says what he thinks, but he's always tactful. he never said their names, not even when they knew who he meant. He just wanted to get his point across, and the kids have no idea who they meant anyway. Let's give the lecher a pass! xD

Aw Kiki!! <3 You’re doing the Christmas stories again this year! I loved the ones last year that you did. They were so cute and very thoughtful. I can’t wait to see what everyone has in mind for this year stories. Of course in this story, I loved all the parts with InuYasha/Miroku/Sango/Kagome in this one, especially the part where the twins jumped him, hehe. Though I’m not into Rin/Sesshomaru things… but this one was pretty good for their story. The only thing that confused me was the part when they were talking about time and how Rin and Sesshomaru grew together. It would have been great if you set a time that the story was in because Rin’s a human in the story and Souta mentions the ‘five hundred years’ together. I don’t think humans live that long, lol… Regardless, it was a beautiful Christmas story. It’s too bad that Sesshomaru didn’t get off his bum at the end and join in the celebration. That would have made Rin’s and the children’s day, I’m sure! The whole 12 Fairytales of Christmas gets me thinking that Christmas is so close. I’m just not in the spirit for Christmas this year, which is weird. To me, it feels like Christmas is so far away when it’s really just around the corner. There’s only one thing to do! Shopping! Hehe. ^-^ I don’t think I could wear contact lenses. I’m a bit of a klutz so me trying to handle a delicate piece of rubber or whatever they’re made of… on my finger… without breaking or dropping it would be quite difficult… And then there would be the hard part to get it into my eye without poking my eyes out… though it would be good for a laugh. But all is well! I always love the layouts here and on Eternal Destiny. It’s nice to see a little change once in a while since when I go on other InuYasha sites, no one is putting any effort into keeping them looking nice. You put so much effort into everything you do, that even the little things look great. Well done!! And don’t worry, I’ll definitely tell her that you appreciate her kind words. *Inspiration, inspiration!* Lol. All you need to do is think for a bit and I’m sure you could think of something that would be wonderful for Miroku and Sango. There’s no rush, of course I think I already said that before… lol. It’ll come out great in the end, I just know it.
Mhm, I’ve noticed that you love writing dark fanfics recently. You’re really good at what you do! No complaining here, hehe.

How are you, m'dear?? Thanks for stopping in to spend a little time with us -we so appreciate it. :) I'm with you on the whole "Xmas spirit" stuff. I'm not feeling it yet, but maybe that will change. Without my mom and gram, the holiday loses a lot of its appeal, so I'm kinda just getting through it. In a way, I'm glad that these stories are keeping me so busy.
And speaking of, I totally understand the Sess/Rin stuff. I don't usually center anything on them, but the idea hit and I just ran with it. Besides, I always tear Inu and Kags apart -it was their turn. Oh, and you might like Day 2. The fairytale is about Sango & Miroku. ^^
Thanks so much for the compliment on the sites. I try very hard to keep my homes looking good and it's great that someone appreciates the effort. :D I don't see the point of having a site if it's a sloppy mess that one can easily forget. That sucks. So rest assured, I will continue to keep the houses pretty!
As for your fic, I'll put my mind to some sort of plot when I'm done wrapping this up. Right now, I can barely wrap my head around anything else, lol. Oh, yeah. And Rin is human, but when she mated Sess she got his lifespan, as did Kagome with yash. So she's immortal.
I took the security down to make it easier for my guests to get reviewed. Bots attack my site constantly -12 since yesterday, leaving bogus reviews on the stories, so I have to use captcha or I'll get overrun. When the party is over, it will probably go back up. :(
