Just what is pulp fiction anyway?!
[noun] Novels written for the mass market, intended to be "a good read,"--often exciting, titillating, thrilling. Historically they have been very popular, but critically sneered at as being of sub-literary quality.
Now you know my dirty little secret...

Much of the fiction here dates back to June of 2005 when I first began to write and posted my works to public websites. They generated an obscene amount of hits and reviews for a newbie to the game and gave me a nickname that I still hold dear today: Notorious.
In June of 2006, due to the idiocy that is some portions of the IY fandom, I thought it best to erect a home of my own, and with the help of my Chibi-nee-chan, thus came Absolution, my private archive. It is the only place on the web that houses every one of my fictions, as they have grown in volume since my public website days. In fact, I have an entire network of sites that showcase my writing, fanart gifts, and awards. (See the toolbar above for links.)
However, before you go exploring, let me be very clear about a few things.
1) Absolution is a private website. That means you will not attempt to create an account here, nor will you attempt to post stories here. I will delete both, and then I will ban you. The guest authors that appear on this site have given me literary gifts -so please don't assume that you can post here because they did.
2) I'm not a professional writer; this is a hobby. Therefore, if you've come here in search of cookie-cutter, canon fluff or strict "purist" characterization, don't waste my time or yours. As this site states, I write Alternate Universe fan-fiction and I break all the rules. You should also know that my early stories are unedited, so peruse at your own risk.
3) Grammar Nazis/Plot Police/Arsonists -your services are not needed or wanted. Flames are juvenile and I'll simply delete your comment and then ban you. "Con-crit" is never requested; you're here to have fun and enjoy the works that my guest authors and I have posted for your entertainment. Please don't make me show you the door.
4) I appreciate positive reviews and I always try to respond to them. They encourage me to continue writing and give me an opportunity to interact with my readers. So if you've been shy about leaving your "mark", don't be because a lack of feedback may be the deciding factor in whether a story lives or dies.
5) Last, and most important, you are a guest in my house, so behave accordingly. In other words, DO NOT STEAL FROM ME. Whether it's my fiction, or my custom images, the quickest way to make an enemy of me is to steal my shit. Feel me? Good.

Back then, I honestly thought that losing my friends was the worst thing that could ever happen to me... but that's only because I didn't know what I was in for.
[Chapter 11 is up!] As the gatekeepers of this world, we are blessed with certain abilities, certain powers. We are told when, how, and why to use them. We are warned of what could happen if we defy the rules. In the blink of her blue eyes, I broke every single one of them.
This past year didn't see many updates. Admittedly, I wasn't feeling much like writing, and as most of you know, I have carpal tunnel which wears on me. However, I'm going to be making more attempts to get more work done, and to do that, chapters will be a lot shorter. But from past inquiries, I know you guys don't mind short chaps so long as you get them. Therefore, that will be our plan this year. The goal is at least one update every two weeks, and more if possible.
How do you like the new "Sanctuary" skin? Once again, Neo has proven herself invaluable by taking a wonderful giftart from my Onna, Inuyashaloverr, and working her magic on it to create a beautiful header in all of my favorite colors. Makes me happy just looking at it! :D So, many thanks to them for giving me such great gifts to start the new decade!
Lastly, I want to thank everyone that visits Absolution and takes a minute to review and support the fiction. I really appreciate it; it reminds me that the work and hand pain is worth it because it's bringing someone joy. That's what it's all about, ne?
