Author's Response: Thanks very much! It's based on a movie that I absolutely loved, so I took the basis for a plot and then modified the story (to death!) to make it more of my own design. It's a fun one to pen. :D

ANyway, Kikyou is a bitch. As usual. :P I think I only like her in Hikari. Sango was much too polite...I would've been like "Bitch, you can take your paintings and shove it up your ass." :P

I had to "cleanse" the citrus for this one like I did for LLW, but it was kinda fun. I didn't have to be "super" proper and watch my profanity, so that made it easier.
And Kikyou is definitely a bitch. So glad she finally ate dirt in the anime. Grrr!

Mah Sistah!! Girl, it took me two days to read this. Instead of printing it like usual, I decided to just read it yesterday. But I got cut short just and picked it up again this morning.
Girl, as usual, you did me proud :D I can't help but relate to Kagome's concerns. As you know, being in a similar situation, there was one single thought I couldn't get out of my head should anything serious ever come out of the relations (thank the Good Lord it didn't >.>), and that was what if he wants to have a family? Child-bearing years are long gone for me as far as I'm concerned. So, I can certainly understand where Kagome is coming from when she looks at the age gap. I think as women in general, we are more prone to looking at the "long term."
Anyway, thank you so much for this. As usual, I absolutely loved it. The beach scene was perfect. I think you even managed to turn me on a little, and that's saying something because nothing has had that power in quite a while now >.>

I was hoping you'd enjoy it. :D I was trying to get my romance on, and since i couldn't get all out raunchy in this fic, I tried to make it clean, but not as clean as LLW.
And that is exactly some of what kagome fears. She keeps thinking about all the things she can't give him, and he's trying to show her that it doesn't matter -it's cute and frustrating!
There are only a few chapters left (unless I play with the plot I set up), and it will be nice to tie a bow on it. And you're welcome. *HUGS* I know you like this one, and since I haven't finished the next drab for Silence, I wanted to give ya some-damn-thing! :D

How are you, doll?? Thanks for coming in and leaving me some review luv. I always appreciate it! I was going for romance with this one, and to show the progression of the relationship because there aren't many chaps left. When you do see the movie, you're going to recognize the characters, but I took mad liberties so it will be pretty different. But that's the point, ne? I don't want to write an exact replica of the movie; that would be pointless.
More updates are coming soon. I hit a speed bump because I have things to do for Eternal Destiny, but then I'll be trying to get at it again.

It's been a while. How are you?? Thanks, as always, for the vote of confidence. It's been more than the idiots of fandom. I've begun to get it in my head that no one is reading/enjoying the fics, and it doesn't take much for my lazy gene to kick in. Next thing you know, I go months at a stretch without updating. But I know there are a few people (like you and the others that reviewed this chap) who do want to see updates (and take the time to review or drop me a line) and it's not fair to just leave y'all hanging. So, here's an update. :)
That said, I'm so glad you liked it! I can't go full on raunch in this fic because of the tone of overall story, so I got as close as I could without crossing the line. lol. Plus, I tried to give some fluff. I can't even say that's rare now. >.> I've been doing that a lot lately, but you know me. I'll fix that soon enough! ^_^

I did see the latest ep of the IY anime, but I actually didn't watch #6 yet. I will, tho. The next one is when Kikyou dies and he (barf) kisses her. Not sure if I'll watch that one (then again, the angst chick in me probably will), but overall, I love what they're doing with the series. Yash looks gorgeous, as always.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! (And thats just the condensed version. I was doing this throughout the entire chapter, and for about five minutes when I saw that this was updated).
This was BEAUTIFUL. I'm completely blown away by the emotion and awesome packed in here. Not even Kikyou, TRIFLIN' though she may be, could ruin how romantic and sweet Yash/Kag were in this chapter.....but onto that witch for a second -.- I'm surprised Sango didn't flip or hop over the dinner table (not even once??). Thats EXTREMELY rude how she invited herself first onto their property and then to dinner. And then she tried to sink her claws into Yasha? No. Nooooooooo. I vote for Naraku taking her in as the traitor and deporting her to Guam >:D
*composes self* ANYWAY, Yash/Kag were especially moving in this chapter. The hesitation, acceptance, and coming together was beautiful, powerful, heart-wrenching, tender, and sweet. In fact, I'm so happy for them I'm not even worrying about how pissed MamaSango might be when she finds out, Kikyou trying to snag IY and thinking she can b/c she speaks French (-_____-), or Myouga getting creepIER (I'm glad Naraku caught that xD).
I loved it. Amazing.

I have the biggest grin right now! Thank yooooou! I'm happy the chap was worth the wait for you because I surely tried to make it so! How are you liking those clean lemons?? lol. I will always do raunch -have to- but I like challenging myself with these cleaner versions. Unlike LLW, where royalty is involved and I need things to be a bit more proper, I was able to dabble in the dirt a little with this one. So, I went as far as I could go without taking it into porn. I have to admit, it's the first sex scene I've liked in a while.
Kikyou. Girl, I've been hating on her lately, so it was great making her a villain in this chapter, and Myouga as well. he's such a snitch. >.>
But anyhoo! I like Yasha and kags in this and I love how secure he is in their relationship. Squee. There are only a couple of chapters left, so expect a few things to come to light and I may even get another chap out in a few days. While my brain is working, I'm doing as much as I can!
