Author's Response: Thanks, Mammy! I'm really learning to embrace short fics. The long ones just require too much commitment for someone that likes to jump to new plots all the time. At this point, all of my fics have a goal of 12 chapters or less. 10, though, is what I'd really like.

Yes! I'm not the only one who does it loudly and (terribly...really terribly) off-key! I laughed so hard when I saw that in there. Totally unexpected. I love it! :D
I'm loving the dialogue in here, too. Kagome is a riot accidentally letting those comments ("ooh, la la") slip and Sango...she's so funny! The Alice in Wonderland reference was hilarious! She's been watching waaaaay too much Disney. Then Inu/Kag together...it was so many things: sweet, funny, sexy. The much awaited interaction was definetely worth it. They were so flirtatious and fun and giggly. We even got a kiss!
Who can forget Gil and Yasha, though. Challenging him for man of the house! Thems fightin' words! So along with this mystery of the possibly still-alive Izayoi and what InuYasha has to ask her, I'm highly anticipating Gilbert whipping out the battle fins and putting him in place....or maybe just InuYasha whipping out the ears. I'm starting to see the touch of angst. Really bittersweet ending this round having him start to like her, but then realize what he is and how that complicates things.
Can't wait to read more! This story always leaves me smiling (pun soooo not intended >.>)

I was waiting for you to see your shout out! :P This chpater was hard on me for some reason. Well, mainly because I was trying to keep the balance between non-lewd comedy, sweetness, and mild angst. You know me. It's VERY easy for me to slip into angst mode and really make the characters hurt, but I didn't want to do that.... Okay, I did wanna do it! But I refrained. :D
The next chapter is in progress and I hope to post it soon. I don't want this fic to drag/feel rushed, which is why I said 6 chapters, but I'm starting to question if I can get it all out in 2 more chapters without feeling like I steamrolled for time. Argh. That's what I get for giving myself limits...

Thanks for the great review! Yes, Kagome is one lucky hussy! As I was writing that, I was listening to Framing Hanley's version of "Lollipop" and pretty much jotted down what I saw in my head. I wanted to be more... explicit? But it's too early in the relationship and this is supposed to be PG-rated, so.... :P
But thanks for sticking it out with me. I'm about 25% into the next chapter (I took a break to watch a movie), but I just opened my text editor so it's back to the grind!

AMAZING CHAPPY!! I couldn't take my eyes off of the screen it was so good. And you hit exactly what gets to me, that slow gentle seduction that Inu and Kag have!!! AHHH I love those interactions, sigh, if only this were an explicit sex fic...just teasing you!!! I actually love the gentle and playful way you write their interactions. It's very charming to read and pulls you in. I am throughly enjoying this!!! Even though he hasn't told her the whole demon heritage (Half anyway) I know she'll love him... I can just feel it ^_^
And how are you doing lovely? Those hands giving you trouble still, or rather the brain (writers block)?? I've been doin pretty good. How are you, doll?! I hope the summer has been fun thus far! :D My hands are good (thanks for asking!); I've been taking it easy and wearing my brace when I know I'll be at it for a long period, so that's helped a lot.
I totally feel you on the exercise. I'm lazy as hell when it comes to stuff like that. >.< I have a gym a few blocks away, too.... Yeah, another day. :P
I'm glad you liked the chapter! It gave me a hard time, but by the end, I was somewhat happy with it. I think it was a case of over-revising. I kept "fixing" things that probably didn't need fixing and screwed myself up to oblivion. SO not doing that again. :D I tried to make it sexy, yet still innocent, and no, my fellow hentai (fist pump for hentai around the world!), this is won't be turning into smut. (No matter what we wish! *cries*) I'm trying to stick to my word and write something fluffy and sweet, and when I start smuttin', all of the sweet flies out the window.
Nope. I have no sense of balance! xD
