interesting personality for rin, bouncy yet cynical. *chuckles* their interactions are rather amusing.
i liked kohaku, that was a sweet surprise that he had for his sister. something tells me he wasn't always that hardworking and consiencious.

My Rins are always... different? lol. I don't like the child-like Rin that most people write. I like her sassy and independent, so I kind of alternate between being cheerful, but also a little snarky, but not enough to be a bitch. Does that make sense?
That youtube clip was hilarious. I've never heard of him, but I could totally see this Kagome singing something like that. Good call!
Yasha will come in chapter 3 and we'll get an inside view of his life and what he's up to. I just hope I can keep it all flowing well for you guys.

I'm loving Kohaku - what a sweetie! And here I was prepared to think he was a skater-punk loser in this story. I'm glad to see I was wrong! Gotta love that sweet younger brother deal that always sneaks up on ya! 0.~ So, Sango...how's that pie taste? Bitter and unpleasant? Yes, I know. >.>

LMAO. She so had that coming, huh? Kohaku is awesome (even if I abuse him in my yaoi fic <.<). I like the Sango/Kohaku relationship in an AU setting, too. We never see much of them pre-Naraku, so I like exploring that in certain fics.

Awwww! Kagome's characterization is too cute! She's so bubbly and free-spirited...I love it! And I love how Sango is the grumpy opposite ("Get to steppin' mermaid!"), and how she gave her like ten different nicknames...Lara, Ariel, Scooby! Its already looking like a fun read!
But then there's the mystery of that locket and how InuYasha'll come into play. I can't wait to read more :D

i love the indefatigable entheuasium that can't be spoiled by a little dissappointment. it's easy to drag people down but it is a very special thing to pull them up. you portray kagome as a person who will walk through a city with a big friendly smile, saying a cheery "hello!" to everybody who catches her eye-- contageously optomistic, a person who can change the atmosphere in a room after only five minutes.

Author's Response: What a lovey review. Thank you! And you nailed Kagome down with a hammer! She is exactly that way. She never gives up and she looks for the bright spot in every dark cloud. Sango tries to keep her grounded, but in the end, it's actually Kagome that lifts her up. She cares about everything and everyone and she's actually patterned after the birthday girl. :D

I relate more to Sango than any other female in the series, but for this, Kagome needs to be her overly positive self (which is new 'cause I like making her a little bitchy. <.< I never said that. >.> You can't prove anything.)
