This story's adorable. And out of the ordinary :) Out of all the ideas I've seen to get an OC to feudal era Japan, this was a first. Inuyasha normally wouldn't fall for a stranger in less than a week but his loneliness proved to be too strong. I'm just happy they left on a happy note. And I have to admit, I started cracking up when Inuyasha started unclothing himself like, what if she didn't have that 'secret paradise' thought Sesshomaru provided him with? she'd be screaming rape and he'd be the last to know. Also laughed when Sesshomaru fooled Inuyasha with the potion, it'd be like him to make his brother suffer the consequences. Nice job with InuxOC (haven't read one of those since I was little) and I absolutely loved the ending. Tear-jerker, but I'm smiling!

I'm not really one for Ocs, but this story got under my skin and demanded to be written. But because I'm hardcore IK, I couldn't -in good conscience- allow him to truly give himself to another person in the canon universe. It just didn't feel right at all. However, I wanted to show that two people can care for one another and be there for each other without completely losing sight of their true loves and life's goals. And, of course, the art I commissioned really tacked an exclamation point on it. :D

I thought this story was just beautiful. The way the two were able to be their for one another during their toughest times, and words were rarely necessary. It's natural for feeling to develop when they feel lost and alone. But even though they shared a few special moments, they were still staying true to the ones they really loved. In the end, Inuyasha was able to help Isis (awesome OC by the way) get back to her home and love. And Isis was able to help Inuyasha stay strong in waiting for Kagome, and be every bit of the man she always saw him to be.
Loved It! like I do everything else you write! (I just wish I could write that good. I practice, but I still have a long way to go.) <3<3<3

Ok, so I never got the update email for this! OMG! I am in love with this story! So totally amazing! Inuyasha was so sweet! I love how he kept true to Kagome and didn't deny his feelings to Isis. Very awesome story!

It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be. I liked the story and the innocence of it, so I just let myself relax and have fun. And I know her -she was in Star Trek. She wasn't who I pictured, but heck, she can work!

OMG!! I LOVE IT!!! You know it was just right sis. I thank you for making something so beautiful. It all came together to fit just right. You know your one of the best!! I wasn't even sad but I did feel like I was watching a lovely movie that I kinda didn't want to end. I have to read 'Ever Ever' later. This really help me take my mind of the things going on here. My mom's mother is in the hospial and the thing that place is doing is so messed up. I hope we can move her soon But this took my mind off it and made me happy. So thanks big sis!!

As for the story, I was so hoping you liked the end. I know it took a while, but I just couldn't get what I wanted to materialize on paper. But then I forced myself to stop analyzing everything and just do it and it came out the way I wanted it to. I'm hoping you like the end of Ever After, too. I know you've been waiting for that a while. :D

Unfortunately, there won't be a sequel, but if you haven't read my oneshot "Everlasting", that's a re-telling of the last manga chapter, that would kinda fit in with this as a continuance. See... >.> Now I'm crying all over the place and this doesn't usually happen, but WOW. I mean "This Is Me Smiling" LITERALLY now. That ending was just so beautiful and perfect. We got a taste of what they could've been, a heartbreaking but sweet goodbye, loads of growth in our favorite hanyou, and dual reunions (or expected reunions in IY's case).
The crying happened early on, too. Right about when InuYasha threw the vial out because he didn't need it to understand "all the things she never said." And the memories he left her with! I'm kinda glad they saved themselves for their respective others, but still managed to share that kinda closeness. Isis grew on me so much and I fell in love with their relationship. The way they grew so close without having to say anything. And everything came full circle (the title, her nightmares, EVERYTHING).
Awwww...and he finally got HIS kiss! "I want you to" made me SQUEE so loud. Then there's Sessh! Putting Yasha to the test like that...I love it!
The 'Goodbye' in both their languages sealed the deal. I can hardly string my words together properly, but I cried and cried and smiled so wide...because, even though its a little sad, its perfect. And beautiful and sweet, and the good kind of heartbreaking, and 10,000 other things I can't think of but am feeling.
I'm just stunned. Congrats on finishing this and a tearful Sayonara, Adios, Ciao, and Salaam Alaikum (peace be with you) to Isis, who I'll miss as a character. InuYasha may have been the star, but girlfriend killed it as an OC. I found myself cheering and crying with her on this ending.
It was just sooo perfect. This story will definetely go down as one of my favorites because its so far from norm, but an awesome interlude to the canon story. A nice way to fill in the gaps to what our boy was doing while Kagome was away--which makes it sound a little scandalous...but I love it that way. They both have these secret memories that Kagome and Joaquin never need to know ... ;)

First, you get big, BIG props for supporting this story from the very first chapter. You were a huge motivation for me to continue and finish it, so thank you! *squeezes ya*
Now, onto the story. I'm GIDDY that you liked the ending. I was so afraid that it would feel rushed, yet I didn't want it to drag. I wanted Yasha and Isis to have their small moment in the son, and kinda answer their "what ifs", but without losing sight of their true destinies, so I'm glad all of that came across. Canon and I aren't bedfellows >.> but I liked writing this and the 6 chapters were perfect for me length-wise. I can only take canon in small doses and I still have another one like this to write, so that should be interesting. <.<
And you CRIED! *dances around* Not that I'm dancing at your tears... >.> lol. I made you feel for them, and that makes me so fucking happy. WOO! That's always my goal -the writing never has to be perfect, grammar, either, but if I invoke some emotion, then I feel like I did my job. I almost cried myself at the end of this. I came close, especially in that last few lines when he watched her leave, but I slammed it down. I love writing tearjerkers, though. I really do. I love the angst and all the emotion... *salivates*
And yup, our boy finally got HIS kiss. HUZZAH FOR ENDING A CHAPTER FIC AFTER SO LONG! ^_^

Absolutely perfect, I know Canon isn't usually your bag, but you always hit the nail on the head when you do.
Though it is a story, that I think InuYasha would be best not to tell Kagome immediately when she gets back, if at all, else he risks getting sat so many times he might end up in Portugal. ^.^

I so love this story. I am so busy that I hardly have time to read let alone write like I want. But while on a very needed vacation, I decided to catch up on some fanfiction reading. In addition, I was wondering if my fav GRRRL had written anything recently, so I had to check out your latest. And my god, she had to write this beautiful story. I love this story so much and I can't wait until you update this one. I have often wondered how InuYasha's gang would respond to someone from another country, especially someone with African features with copper-brown skin and curly hair. This is getting a little smokin' hot, somebody turn on the A.C. in here!!! hahaha, putting my lameness aside, this fiction is really a heart-tugger. At one side, I love that Inuyasha is opening up to another in his life, but at the other end I feel that voice saying that should be Kagome, who are you to come in and take him from her!! I know that that is not really the point but the Inu/Kag fan in me loves the angst you put him through in his torn emotions between the two. I think that you will do what you need to do for us to see what Inuyasha needs to learn from his experience with Isis. AHHH SO MANY EMOTIONS!

But If I say to myself "She may do it" I just keep thinking about haha. I really want it here but I know it's a PG....thou you have been know to change the ratedings too, so I'm on my toes when it come to you girl...but I like it it's fun!!! To be real with you InuYasha seem like a man that would LOVE a women with curves. Isis fits so well lolz. All I know it I'll be happy with whatever you do cuz you rock!!!!

But what can I do? :P I wrote half the chapter this morning and I'm going to try and have it posted by tomorrow. It actually made me cry, so you know I got too attached to them too fast! No hints on content, but just know that it's written the way it was meant to be. Also, you have to think about how you want your fic plotted. I'm trashing the other fic I was going to do for you in lieu of another OC fic. Something short and cute like this, but there will be no Kagome to contend with. It can be a guilt-free edible! ^_^
