Two words: holy shit!!
Nothing else can really express how I am feeling after pouring over this fic. I couldn't stop reading once I started, and I didn't want to.
Good lord... I need a glass of water while I get a grip over myself.
InuYasha's domineering attitude is nothing I have ever read in a fic before. It's wonderfully refreshing in the darkest of ways, and I am so far beyond intrigued that I don't even think there is a proper word from it.
Throughout the first few chapters I kept telling myself that somehow, someway there would be a happy ending to this fic. Because even though I knew it was a dark!fic, I had high hopes for happy. Now though? Now I have no idea what is going to happen. And boy do I want to know so bad.
This is just amazing. InuYasha seems to cherish Kagome at some points and then despise her at others. He almost gave into her kiss in the car, and he even shuddered in an attempt to reign himself in. I thought that was a good sign, and then Kouga had to call, and InuYasha thought something along the lines of 'thank you for reminding me'. I want to know what Kagome reminded him about. I am so interested! There are so many possible directions this could go in, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for all of us.
Now the part of the review that I have been holding back on the longest: I absolutely cannot believe that InuYasha has a wife and kids! Have I mentioned how confused I am? He seems to love and cherish his family, and he promised he'd be back in a week never to leave again. What does that mean for Kagome? Oh I feel so sorry for Kagome.
Poor girl, whatever happens I know she's going to be put through the ringer.
I love this dark!fic you have going. InuYasha's domineering attitude is flawless, and I can only imagine how hard it is to write! You're doing really well with it.
Can't wait to see whatever you come up with next, because no matter what it is it will be amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Author's Response: What a review! Thank you!! And you're right; this story is extremely taxing to write. I have to get in a certain mindset, which is tough, and which is why I haven't been updating it. I plan to do so soon, but again, I need that mindset first.
This is a dark fic with a few shiny spots. That's the best way I can describe it. No hints on the plot (sowwy!), but InuYasha is just full of surprises that will make you either love him or hate him. My readers are constantly on a roller coaster -if they don't despise him outright already. lol. It's pretty fun to get them riled up with his antics. Thanks for checking it out! :D

I had to read this again. The phone call Inuyasha has with this mysterious woman and little girl is baffling! Poor Kagome if or when she finds out. I need to know the extent of this other relationship! Oh and Kouga! dun dun duuuun. I'll definitely be front and center when the next chapter comes. You tease me Grrrl, you tease. ;)

Wow, this is so intense. InuYasha is just fucking around with her and has no feelings for Kagome whatsoever from what Ive gathered. Very dark stuff. It's excellent but I seem to have to take breaks in-between cause I have to sensitize my pallet for this. But really InuGrrrl, its another amazing piece of work and a legendary story in the making! Would it be alright if I asked you if this was going to turn into a Inuyasha and Kagome story?

First of all let me tell you I am addicted to this story! What got my attention was the first chapter where InuYasha said Kagome’s Name! I was like what?! As I continued reading this story some things did make me uncomfortable like when InuYasha spanks Kagome, I was shocked and Kagome being a cheater but that’s a part of your story and it wouldn’t be what it is without it. Some of the things that go on are absolutely wicked and they grabbed my attention like nothing else! It makes me wonder if there really people out there like that and what made InuYasha like this in the first place. Will InuYasha and Kagome’s relationship get better? So many questions pop up when I’m reading this story and I’m still not finish reading but I can’t wait for the next chapters. I love that you push the lines between what is socially acceptable and open my relatively sheltered world to what’s out there. It’s fun reading without question.

I'm glad you're enjoying this story and expanding your horizons a bit. There are definitely people like InuYasha in this world. There are people WORSE than him in the world, so yeah, it's out there. He's an enigma that I like playing with because you just never know what's coming next.
He can be sweet, calm, and even gentle one moment, then do a complete 180 at will. It's great. lol. Kagome is like you -entering into something she has no experience with- so she's doing things she normally never would. It's not all good, of course, but it isn't all bad, either. InuYasha forces her to break her shape and allow herself to be molded, which, again, is both good and bad. He has his reasons, though. :)

I can safely say this took me on a whirlwind...in a good way and it's just getting started!!. The twist in the plot literally had me rereading that section over and over again. I'm STILL thinking about it. I'm already face deep into my laptop with anticipation and I know there's more to come.sheesh

This part makes me swollen and rollin', for sure! I love how you make it complicated and sexy, all at the same time. Kagome's feelings are so tempestuous.
I like the way you write this BDSM story. :) Have you ever read "Fifty Shades of Grey"? I liked parts of it, but the ending was completely hokey and nonsensical! "9 and 1/2 Weeks" was so much better, if you ask me. He completely broke her, and the ending wasn't some hokey-romantic, maudlin tale. It was the real-deal. :D
