My heart stopped for a second when Inuyasha mentioned about female genital mutilations. But...well thank goodness none of THAT happened.
To say Kagome deserved it...? Well after reading this chapter, I could see what Inu meant by not wanting to kiss her. This is a totally new perspective for me! Always thought a kiss is just a kiss...

Hey, InuGrrrl. I've been reading your fic for a while, and I've finally decided to write a review (it might make the next update come faster ;)]
I have a few questions I was wondering you could answer. Where did you get the idea for this fiction? What was your inspiration? Also, what motivates you to write?
I find that you're an amazing writer, and I do hope that someday you're pursue writing because it's definitely an amazing talent you have. You'd do really well in dark writing as clearly seen. :)

It's me reviewing again with a question on the reply to my review! I didn't realize he wrote her off after the car accident because when Kagome and Sango were going out to get stuff for the house warming, I thought he orchestrated the whole "almost running over the dog" part because after Sango invited him as a guest, he was like to Mike "Our work here is done", or even when he purposely called off the dog when Kagome was calling him over to pet him to hurt her or something. I just assumed he did it on purpose especially orchestrating the meeting with Sango and getting the invite. Or even when Kagome wen to that house that looked like it was abandoned, I also asumed it was Inuyasha's because of the description..
Da Grrrl Says: He did orchestrate those things, but she played into his hands. In the bathroom at her party he gave her an out. He told her that she wasn't ready for him or the things he'd ask of her. She protested, so he gave her the key and told her to prove him wrong. She was warned and she went anyway, thus sealing her fate. :)

(Ugh, I just wrote such a good review and it erased it when I entered the wrong security code.)
I'm very excited to hear that we can look forward to another update very soon!
I was wondering about the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome, and a constant thought kept popping up -- could Kagome's growing attachment to Inuyasha be something akin to.. Stockholm Syndrome? Of course, the attraction and spark between them was always there from the beginning. Though, from what I know about stockholm syndrome is that the "victim" gets attached or falls in love with the uh.. "victimizer" as a physocological (sp) response to being abused. Since more than often in cases such as kidnapping and abuse, they can't escape from their abductor or their "victimizer" their brain makes them connect with them, by taking any sort of kind actions to sympathize and connect with them. Some sort of human response to abuse. Anyways, I was thinking that since Kagome is in a similar situation where she can't really escape from Inuyasha, and as we say in the earlier chapters that he gave her a good spanking (;]) in response to her telling him to go away, and not listening to them. He does often belittle her, but there are some moments when he treats her really well -- and maybe that keeps causing a growing attachment. Like in this chapter, after punishing her, he smiled at her (which he does rarely), and she grows even more attached to him.
I'm interested in knowing your thoughts, and if you've ever thought about it that way. I'm also curious in seeing how Inuyasha and Kagome behave with one another in social situations now that their together, like around people they would know personally and even specifically Kagome's interactions with other men, or Inuyasha's interactions with other women. I mean, we all know Inuyasha is pretty darn possessive, and since this is BDSM wouldn't that make him Hyper darn possessive? :) I'm curious to know!

I get a LOT of spammers here and the bots leave hundreds of fake reviews that have to be erased. So when I update, I leave the security off for a few days to allow easy reviews, but then I put it back on. So late reviewers get stuck with the code.
I can't really answer your questions in depth; I never go too deep into explanations during an ongoing story. I will say, though, that Kagome doesn't have complete Stockholm and she's not really a victim, per se. She chose to go to him -she had a choice. (Remember when he kicked her out of his car and wrote her off? She made it clear that she wanted him back. Advantage: InuYasha) She chose to play his game -she had a choice there, too (She could have tossed that key in the garbage, but she went to his house anyway. Even if it was under the guise of discussing Sango, she wanted to be chosen by him. Advantage: InuYasha).
I think, if she really let it be known that she absolutely didn't want to be with him, she'd be free to leave -as long as she knows that there would be no going back. That's his true power. He knows how much she wants him; she can't hide it and that's his advantage. As far as social situations, I will reveal this: This story is about InuYasha and Kagome and what happens between them, so you shouldn't really look for too many "social" situations that involve jealous rages and etc. This story doesn't have many chapters left before it's over -it's only a novella. So all of the sideline "filler" type stuff won't be happening.
Thanks so much for the great review and all the interest you have in the story. As an author, it's truly a DELIGHT to have a reader really care about the work. <3

Da Grrrl Says: Usually the latter. When I look at my own work, it's usually to re-familiarize myself with the story and flow so I can update. That's when I start seeing the mistakes, but once in a while, I'll read something that makes me laugh and say, "That was pretty good." :)
