NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! tHEY WERE SO DARN CLOSE I COULD ALMOST TASTE IT!!!!! Beautiful chapter. I love how you get all the details right. I took a beginner class of Ballet and the terminology and descriptions were so correct and on Pointe (pun intended ;p) I love love love this story and I can't wait for the next update. Their pairing is so adorable.
How are you Kiki? You've been updating like crazy I see. I almost can't keep up cause you're updating all of my favorites at once!! Anyway you take care of yourself! I always so proud of your work :D

Sorry it's been a while since I sent a review; things have been pretty hectic at home lately and with the holidays now past I can finally settle back down a bit (I know you and many others can relate! )
I just love the new story -- it's so damn cute the way things just aren't quite working out for him, through no real fault of his own! I'm really going to enjoy finding out how things will happen in the future!

Great one, girl. One of the reasons that I love InuKag so much as a couple is that their relationship is based on FRIENDSHIP. When you're frineds first, that means that you like each other as PEOPLE first....and the sexual atttration after that just adds spice....but your foundation is a lot more solid. Inuyasha and Kagome epitomize that. the fought like "cats and dogs" at first, (pun intended) but became firm friends before the attraction came up. And your story showcases that special dynamic between them very well.
As for Bankotsu, could you have made him any more sexy, girl? He souded gorgeous, and his personality was terrific, too. In fact, if Inuyasha really was gay, Bank would have definitely been a good match for him. Kagome gets and "A" in matchmaking for sure. I'm just sorry that she didn't get Jakotsu. THAT would have been hilarious! Just kidding...Yash would have killed him....and probably Kags as well. :-) I do feel kind of sorry for Bank, though, since we all know that Yash isn't gay. And Yash's denseness is just too cute. He is so UNgay that he doesn't even realize that Kagome was fixing him up....and that the ball game he agreed to go to was a DATE. I cannot wait to see what it happens when he finally figures it out.

Thanks, as always, for the awesome review! You're absolutely right -they're friends. Best friends, and that makes the romance aspect a lot more natural and concrete. They fell in love just being around each other and loving what each was about. But the supposed "gay" thing is keeping them apart. Boo!
I've always found Bankotsu sexy. He's 3rd behind the brothers and very hot -even if he's not that tall. lol. I pictured him as being super suave and classy with just the right amount of sex appeal. He's a man who knows what he wants and he's the wine and dine type. He kinda sees that InuYasha is 'flamey" with his >.> gayness, and that's right up his alley. Basically, he's a MAN attracted to MEN, not a man who think he's a woman and is attracted to men. :P
I'm debating on how much of the date I want to play out, but I'll try to get a chuckle out of ya. And YUS! InuYasha is so adorably clueless. Here he is, thinking he's got a new guy to chill with and little does he realize bank wants to chill in a whole new way. Haha. More soon!

The story went by pretty fast, I would have loved to read more on their gradual relationship. But otherwise, I loved the chapter, it moved me very much. Much so because Kagome reminds me of a friend who similarly did a very generous thing for me. Anyways, very cute story and I hope for more~

I don't really have the time or will to pen anymore long stories -especially fluff. I can only stand that in tiny doses and the idea that I came up with would only drag and run the risk of not being completed if I it moved any slower.
It was originally supposed to be a two-shot (Imagine how fast that would have been), but I decided to be generous and make it 5-6 chapters instead because Jessie rocks. But yeah, I'm not interested in doing any more long stories (other than what I already have in my WIP).

Oh God! I had to turn away for a few minutes to catch my breath from laughing too hard. I could just picture his awestruck and apalled face when he figured out Kags thinks he's gay. Well, I guess it's his own fault cause he didn't say Kikyo specifically, he just said he dated one of the head dancers. Now I'm itching to know what happens at the game he got 'invited to'. The dancing room was a really sweet idea, and it will help him catch up again.
You know as funny as it is, and it's a really wonderful idea for your story, I don't see why people have to make assumptions like that. I mean, do they think the same thing with figure skaters, cause in my view that's almost the same level as ballet? I looked up some stuff, and ballet is almost just as difficult, it's just more of an art, but they still get quite a workout out of it. I gotta admit, it is pretty interesting to imagine Inu in one of those tight outfits....that would show off.....every.....muscle...in his....legs....and.....*slaps myself* I'm okay! Um, anyway, keep it up cause I realllly want to know what happens next.

I didn't expect the romance to be introduced already, but then again, it really isn't early since they've been living together for 8 months. The characters are so freakin' adorable! Kagome's such a cutie, I could just imagine her and her overalls. It's pretty amusing picturing Inuyasha in tights. LOL. That image could have me laughing for a good 5 minutes. I've just fallen in love with this story. Man, it's hilarious. I just can't say that enough! I was nearly in pain from how much I was laughing. UGH. Awesomeness. Thanks for the update! This was a fun holiday treat. I can't wait to read the next chapter! LOL. (X

They are SO cute, but this situation just gets funnier and funnier. Poor Yasha, not realizing he just agreed to a date...not that I blame him, either. Bank didn't seem all that suggestive and IY was so busy hating on the idea of him being Kagome's date that he probably never guessed the set-up was for him. I just love how everyone here says and does things in a way that leaves everything open for misenterpretation. Should make for an interesting baseball game. Hopefully seeing that Bank might be looking for more than just a bromance will be enough to make IY stop with the act in front of Kagome...because towards the end that was kind of sad. Kagome jumping to the wrong conclusion and IY letting her believe it made such a mess.
The dance/practice room was a nice idea, though and hopefully that'll also help nudge InuYasha in the right direction. Really great use of dramatic irony (and the characters all know that they're crazy about each other, too!). Makes all of this so nail-bitingly exciting but in a light-hearted, funny sort of way. The banter with Miroku and Kau was a nice break from the bit of angst in here, too.

^ and that is THE BEST insult/comeback I have ever heard, lol! Literally laughed my ass off WAY too loudly to be sane-sounding at two in the morning. Good stuff, can't wait to see where it'll go from here!
