Gorgeous set up for what promises to be an intense story. I'm such a sucker for siblings protecting one another. Especially when done so fiercely.
I had to backtrack to make certain I hadn't misinterpreted things because; wow! Twins? Inuyasha and Yasha? Genius.
How exciting. This is an angle I've never seen done and holds loads of potential considering he is hanyou and possesses the whole spectrum of traits/personalities that accompany that. By splitting him into "2", it leaves a world of untapped possibilities! (hope that made sense)
Well done for a starter chapter. Wherever you take this, I'm following!! I'm hooked and ready for more soon. It's always a pleasure.

wow! i got a little confused towards the end there! i was like, wait what's going on?! haha. but i dont think ive seen a story with inuyasha's counterparts being totally separate, or in this case, separated into twins (if that makes sense, cause it sounds okay in my head but not while im reading it back to myself haha). but i do think it's cute that yash calls their dad poppy. so adorable!! i always love how you portray/present the characters as little kids, so cute!! anyways, thanks for sharing this story and can't wait for the next update!
Da Grrrl Says: The beginning was actually supposed to be confusing because I never mentioned anything about the twins -InuYasha is only mentioned as a nameless third person. The reason for their names (Yash/InuYasha) and stuff like that will be revealed later on as the story gets going. And I'm glad you like their chibi-ness. I don't do it that often, but sometimes I like to show the characters' "beginnings". But that will be the only chapter where they're fully 'babies'. This story is a little dark and angsty, but nothing too extreme. I'm working on the next chapter and the accompanying layout, so that should be fun. ^^

I was so confused for a while, but the ending cleared it up! I've never seen a fic in which yash was separated into his two different counterparts, but you've always been an innovator~ hehe~ Lovely prose as usual! I'm glad you have more time for yourself to write and such nowadays~~ I'll be looking forward to more whenever you can manage to squeeze in more updates for us!!

Yesh, deliberately confusing because I didn't want anything to be revealed until the end. But from the next chapter on, things will be written more clearly. I didn't think the idea of InuYasha being his own twin was that unique, but several people said it already, so I guess it is. They're not that way by some big supernatural thing; they're just twins, though, it probably would have been more interesting if there was more to it. :P

Woah.. completely threw me off but I'm so lookIng forward to readIng thIs new story! I totally wasn't expecting Inuyasha twins. This is pretty freakin exciting! I can tell you're actually having some fun writing this..or am I completely off? Hopefully Im not completely off . XD
I always like Sesshomaru a lot more than I normally do when you're the one writing him. It was sweet how much he obviously cares about .. er.. the twins?

Thanks for the review luv! You're right; I did enjoy writing this one. I commissioned some cool art and it inspired this story (something that doesn't happen often). I'm making the layout now, so it will be ready with the next update. This story is reminiscent of another story I'm writing, but many of the dynamics are completely different, as is most of the plot. It's angsty and a bit dark (read the summary), but I felt compelled to write it for myself. The hope is that you guys will like it, too, but I won't be too disappointed if y'all don't. The names might confuse since I tend to call InuYasha "Yash" in my stories, but I will remedy that in this fic so you guys can keep track of who's who. :)

This is by far one of the most unique concepts I've come by. Can't wait where this is going. I wonder how one was born hunan and the other half breed, though.

Can't wait for more. / o This was just a great start, it pulled me in from the start. I love the way you portray little InuYasha, it's so damn adorable. But, I can't wait to see a little more about InuYasha and Yash.

As for Hanyou InuYasha, I wanted to play with their personalities. He's usually the mouthy, brash one, but this time, he's the one who needs protecting. I thought it would be cute to make Human Yasha the "brave" one this time around. Should be fun.

*Squee*!! new read alert!! Lol. Gosh I enjoyed this so much, but then again what dont I enjoy from you?? Haha. This was a fun read AND very interesting might I had. I have a theory but won't put it out there to feed your pet peeve. And I've been reading so much fantasy stuff I may b reading too much into it. But blv me - amma stick to it to feed my curiosity.
I ALWAYS love how you portray Sesshy. Really I always fell in love with him all over again with his tenderness yet hatefulness all in one lol.
