I liked this very tender ending. This is the ending, right? You didn't put "complete" at the top so I wasn't sure.
I think it's a great finish and that you shouldn't go any further. Too many people drag out stories to the brink and don't know how to end it because of that. This ending is sweet and fulfilling. Great job.

WOW! I just don't know where to start from!
You're story was so well writen and I became caught up in it's flow.
I found your story today, and I must say, I wasn't able to stop reading until I came to the very end. I even pushed my homework aside so that I could finish your story in one go!
I'm probably gonna have to rush them now but oh well, your story was more than worth it and made up for it =P
I shed tears more than once while reading, you portrayed the emotions really well!
I could go on and on but I find myself searching the words that would best describe your talent. So i'll give you a big round of applause and 2 thumbs up instead! =)

this story is sooooooooooo amazing! i was beating my tears back with a bat and the tears almost won. i haven't read such a good inuyasha fanfic like that in a long time. i was gonna stop reading halfway in because normally the sadness really gets to me. but i persevered and i finished and i can never be happier by how it ended. arigatuo gozaimasu!

Wheew... Let me start by saying I enjoyed this very much. :D
I especially loved the end.
There are only one or two things that poked at me like a dripping faucet against a metal pan in the night. In the first few chapters, the use of the word "Orbs" was used excessively in place of "eyes". But I got over that as it became less of a staple in the word diet as the story progressed. XD
If there was anything else that bugged me... I can't even remember right now so it doesn't matter. LOL
I just had to say something about "orbs" LOL

I really enjoyed this story. It's hard to find a well written Kagome/Sesshomaru story that makes sense and isn't well stupid. This was a wonderful story that kept my attention. I especially enjoyed how Inuyasha wasn't a jerk and all sinister (like a lot of stories make him out to be), how Sesshomaru opened up emotionally, and how their relationship played out (realistic!). Awesome story.

This is a good story and I liked it, but the ending could have been a little more... or an epilogue... keeps the people wondering what happens after. Overall though it was interesting, especially the way you portrayed Sesshy.

Please let me tell you that this was BEAUTIFUL. I too, am a sucker for Kagome- Sesshomaru pairings, though I know it seemed that there really was nothing possible between them in the real series. It's just the allure of what COULD have been.
This story explained that perfectly. Thank you very much for this, it was... perfect.

This is absolutely wonderful. I love Sesshomaru and Kagome stories that do not treat Inuyasha as a villain or as anything less then the beautifully crafted character that he deserves to be. You did this wonderfully. You did not make the younger brother less by creating a lovely story where the older brother realistically can have a relationship with Kagome. This was well written and I enjoy every chapter. Thank you!

I hate to think why RT made canon vague enough that fans often doubt the feelings Inu had for Kagome.
I remember that in the 'Flower Prince' storyline, he thanked Kagome for being there to stop him from having to have to choose between them. That to me is a red flag.
I can't see what the point was in creating a lead FEMALE character that has obvious chemistry with him (they laughed together, cried together, fight together) is there to support him, has been his rock, is devoted and most importantly- that relationship is based on a strong developing friendship and trust. Something that was never mentioned with him and Kikyou. Even if I/K ended up together, the emotions were hardly clear. Sure Japanese culture is a lot more reserved and there were small hints that classified them as an item (holding hands, longing looks, etc.) but as a fan I felt cheated. Because I could easily identify with the 'normal' teenage girl and I wanted the her to find happiness and succeed. Having him state that he was relieved sounded like he was still confused, and that irritated the hell out of me!
I never understood it.
I'm glad his feelings for her are clear in THIS story. :)

This story warmed my heart. The plot twist involving the Jewel was a brilliant touch. I liked the mvotivation of what brings Sess/Kag together, and InuYasha's decision. It works. It involved Kikyou but on an honorable level and it's not bitter it great angst for the external conflict and internal conflict. Excellent story. And yes, I like the Rin/Shippou pairing very much. :-)

I like the Kag/Sess pairing simply b/c it is fun for me so this opening has me intrigued. I also like Sess/Kagura, too. Inu/Kag is my fav pairing overall. Of course :-) Can't wait to read me. Grrr! I'm not getting much work done today! Ha!
