This chapter was so sweet. It was nice to see Sess out of his cool, calm, collected mode. And it was nice to see Kagome showing signs of moving on. Although I HATE that Inuyasha is dead in this story (uh!) and I'm a big INuKag fan, I still have absolutely no problem with Kagome being with Sesshomaru if Inuyasha is gone. He wouldn't want her to be miserable and alone for the rest of her life anyway. And the way you've been developing this story is wonderful. Some stories just drop the couple right into love, pretending that they don't have a past; this one is much better than that. It is allowing the healing and love to develop slowly and, most importantly, not ignoring the elephant in the room, namely Inuyasha. Great job.

great update
so our sesshomaru is falling in love with kagome but he is already in love with kagome and wants to know if she is ready to move on and give him a chance.
why was souta so upset that kagome was going out on a date with sesshomaru and it wasn't really a date date but more of a friends going out to have a good time with one another together type thing and before he was trying to get his sister to cheer up and now she has something to cheer up about he wants to take it away or either discourage kagome from going out with sesshomaru. why? at least her mother thought it was a great idea and supported kagome in her idea and descision.
so what will happen now? what did the kiss mean. because i'm wondering the same things that sesshomaru is wondering right now? why was kagome watching him from her bedroom window like that?

What a great chapter! You are probably one of the only people that have written a chapter had a song in it and the song fit the story perfectly! I loved it. God, I was almost in tears. I love how Sess is so human! A really great story! Good luck with the next chapter. (I wish my friend would write me a story like this for my b-day!)

what a deliciously bitter-sweet story. you have this way of writing this where we still miss and love inuyasha but we're also rooting for kags and sesshy to find happiness with each other. the fact that sessh was guitly about hurting yash all those times and then came to such good terms with souta, really says something about how you planned this out.
great work..and please continue! i honestly get tears and choke up everytime you write about yash being gone...

Oh, you had me blushing so badly-this is just wonderful! So sweet, the way you portray Sess's feelings is just beautiful, and you take such a realistic hand with everyone (there's actual character development! yay!). Like, at first I was really pissed at Souta, but by the latest chapter I understood why he was acting that way, and was really, really happy with the way it was all resolved. And the way Sess's past is acknowledged, but he's different now. Love this fic, and love the way you write Sess and the adorable scenes you come up with. ^_^

Sigh! just went to your fuedal-pulpfiction page and read this chapter the way it's meant to be read! whew! lolz...very well written.
I loved the ending...how dramatic...even in that initmate moment our guy Inuyasha is right there somehow. You certainly weaved a complicated web, brimming with emotions!
At first i was liek "ew no! Not sesshy with kags!" but as i read the fic, i saw the you managed to give all the characters some real depth and therefore even someone as cold and stoic as sesshomaru has grown on me. (in this fic anyway)
I almost feel sorry for him and wish that Kagome would accept her hanyou's passing once and for all. Sesshy really seems to care and even her smallest rejection hurts him so much.
But anyway...I'm blabbing! Great chapter and great fic! Bravo!
