Well, I already left a review on ff.net, but I had the urge to leave another review here on your personal website just because of how much better I feel after reading this update. Like I said in my review on ff.net, I've been in a bad mood all day, and this update managed to really brighten my mood. I don't know what to say that I haven't already said. LOL. It would be too repetitive if I started listing off all the things I loved again. Too borrrrrriiiing! JUST THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE AGAIN! (X And DEFINITELY excited for the next update. <3

The sadness from Rin is palpable in this chapter and you can really feel it getting to Sess... Inuyasha just is so dense sometimes, you almost want to feel sorry for Kikyo and her emotions but hey, if you don't open your mouth to say something, that's your own fault...

Ah!!! I didn't realize you updated until now! I would have been here sooner if I knew 'cuz you know how much I LOVE this story! I swear you're psychic, Ki, 'cuz I've been staring at InuYasha Emmanuel all week... ;)
I'm really loving Sesshomaru as the protective, loving brother in this. I absolutely love the scenes between the two brothers - they're so heartfelt and sweet. But what's happening to poor Rin? Because if I'm not mistaken that was not Sess she was with. How low is that, to hurt his girl when he's out rescuing his brother? Wait until Sess finds out, there'll be hell to pay for sure!
And InuYasha... my heart bleeds for him, but there was a ray of hope at the end of this chapter. I'm curious to see though what kind of deal Sess made to free Yasha. InuYasha was finally going to get something he had spent years longing for - this line made me smile 'cuz I hope this is what I'm thinking it is. Because it's about time they meet! :D
I'm SO looking forward to the next chapter!

I always get supa-giddy when you review this one because I've pretty much deemed it your fic. So I want you to enjoy it, dammit! xD (And I was staring at him a lot this week, too, so you're not alone!)
I'm with you on the brothers. Honestly? It's a JOY to write them this way. I try to give them squabbles and bickering like real brothers would, but I love showing that underneath it all, they do love and protect each other, especially the older to the younger. The one thing I truly despised in canon was how Sess hated Inu; it just bugged/hurt me. So I always try to make them come together, even if the beginning is rocky.
You're the ONLY one who knew right off the bat that he wasn't Sesshomaru. You get extra kudos! I love that about you -your mind is always going. Your assessment in the mail about them was spot on -how could he be in two places at once? It takes deep concentration for him to go into her mind -can't do that when he's talking to God. lol.
Then, there's Yasha. So tragic, his character is. Kikyou, too. I love him the most in this because he's so innocent in his own way. He loves her madly, blindly, and all it does is get him in trouble. But I won't be revealing the deal any time soon and that's all I can say! :P

I've been wondering how Sesshomaru and Rin are going to be together. I have 2 theories. 1.) Rin dies, goes to heaven, becomes an angel or 2.) Sesshomaru has another talk with God and denounces has title to live as a mortal with Rin. Just guessing, but I'm anxious to see what happens!!
I'm always late with the reviews lol, but just know that I'll always be reading and will review eventually haha. Thanks so much for the update, Grrrl, you're truly one of a kind ;)

I must say, "epic type" fics look good you! I love all the drama in Hikari and secretly, even the violence (Abi) o.O Just shows how incredible an artist you are to write so well in so many different styles. You always keep me intrigued. Especially the sexay as hell Sess invading Rins' dreams. I am wondering what it will be exactly that Rin must be willing to do to be with him... always. Hmmm? LOL @ epics. The funny thing about that is I try to AVOID epics because they're so... big? But this one, I kinda knew it would slide into that territory just because of the whole heaven angle. I think that's why I didn't touch it for a long, long time after I started it. It was going to be "big" and I didn't want to deal with that, especially when I was doing Edge of 17 and its whopping 50+ chapters. >.< But I'm more in the zone, and this will only be about half of what EOS was. I'm aiming for a nice even 25 chapters or less. >.>
And ya know, that may not have been Sesshomaru with Rin. Remember, he was with God, and then he went to the tower tp get Yasha. he'd have to be a real stellar guy to be in two places at once. :P
Fanfic IS getting harder because I get block for weeks or months or YEARS at a time when that never happened before. Plus, when you're killing yourself to find the words to finish something and only a few people take a moment to say they had fun, it's a bit disheartening. I don't expect anyone to love everything I write. It's just not going to happen. But if a story that has gotten decent reviews suddenly stops getting them, but the number of readers doesn't drop, or even increases, it's like, wow. Did you not like it, or is it really THAT hard to leave a 3-second, "I enjoyed the chapter"? It takes me hours, sometimes weeks to nail down a chapter and it takes 2 minutes to leave a review. If a reader can't bother, why should a writer?
But anywho, it seems many enjoy Hikari and I'm glad they took a second to say so. It made my day -and The Neighbor is DEFINITELY coming. I even got new art for it. :DD And thanks for offering to beta! I'm probably going to take you up on it because I edit with lazy eyes sometimes and totally need a second set, lol. *HUGS* And how is the family??? I hope you guys are all doing well! <33
