YAY!!! Another Glorious chappie to read like always. :) A couple of days ago, I read what you wrote on your site"Beyond Redemption" that you were going to be updating some fics...
So thus said, This morning, I came on Absolution to see if there was an update... (and even if there wasn't I still come here and re-read your other fics that have captured my attention). And like a kid in a candy shop, my eyes got big and my mouth fell at the sight of Hikari. I shouted Yay, and my bf son was wondering why I was acting so stangely, lol.
So enough about my kiddyness ways, I'm happy to see that Inuyasha is back and not in that tomb. Can't wait to read the next chappie to find out when he sees Kikyou in her state. And still... a few chaprtes before hand, Kags mom mentionned that they needed help around so that has me thinking yet again on that part.
So, like always, I can't wait to read the upcoming chapters, till then, hope you're doing fine and *huggles* :D

As always, thanks for showing the work some love. I always appreciate it and I'm so happy you liked the chapter. It takes a certain zone to write Hikari and I'm glad I found it again! No hints on what happens next, but it should be eventful. ^_^ I'm trying to get a few chapters out this month since I haven't written in a while, and the site will be getting 3 new skins to give you guys some eye candy, so let's hope that fall/winter will bring lots more writing and story completions. Oh thank you so much for updating this story! I absolutely love it. The love InuYasha has for his Hikari is so potent and purely driven here. I haven't ever seen it portrayed like this and I am a huge fan. I'm kind of sorry that I've only found your stories more recently instead of years ago. I understand that it's getting harder for you to write, and even though I'm coming in late in the game, I hope that you still feel truly appreciated as a writer, because this is truly amazing work. You have created an entire world here, and it is very structured and I'm able to empathize with your characters. The bonds that they have with one another that forge the blind devotion they feel is very difficult to characterize, but you've done it very well. When I got your update alert, I was hoping that you'd updated Hikari, and it really made my night that you had. If there is anything I can do that will help please let me know! Until you update again, I'll probably be going through your other stories and making sure I've reviewed them too because you do deserve it. Okay, I've rambled enough, thanks again for continuing this story!

At first, it was a little hard because I was building this "heaven" from scratch, while also trying to balance in real biblical references, but now I'm in a much better zone. I just wish I could update it faster, but I get horrendous block at times and I really try to give this one quality chapters. So I will just sit on a chapter until I have something acceptable to offer.
But again, what a fantastic review -it really means a lot that you like the story enough to review it with such praise. I've been doing away with incomplete stories lately, and what's left will live based on crowd response. I've been churning out chapters for over 5 years, so it's getting rougher, but so long as I know there are enthusiastic people like you that want to see them, I'll do my best to keep it going. (And I'm already working on the next chapter!)

Hiiiiiii!! How long has it been?? I don't know why I've been completely disinterested in IY fiction for the past year... I'm writing every once in a while but never posting because I'm not satisfied with my chaps... But enough about me!
I've always loved this fic and when I saw that you'd updated it I read it all again. I can't believe Kagome is being that stupid, I can't wait to see what Sessh is planning because I can't stand the idea of Inu being locked up. I actually like Kikyo in this fic...but I'm sure she's going to complicate things when Inu's free... No?
I loved the part about Sango and Miroku, hihhihi. And I love how sneaky Kagura is in this story.

I know what you mean about disinterest. I went through that and only just recently went on a writing tear. I don't really read fics anymore; I never have the time and a lot of the stuff out now doesn't really grab me, but I'm trying to get serious about completing my own.
As for Hikkie, yeah, Kags has got a lot of people upset with her. lol. Her character is levelheaded, but she's sightly impulsive in addition to being obedient to a fault. She's the type that usually does what's expected of her without a lot of argument, and she can't find a sincere reason to say no to Haku, so she didn't.
Kikyou is very tragic in this, and I admit, part of me is just sticking it to her and giving her what Kagome always got in the manga. <.< Kagura is a lot of fun, too. I like making her devious, and last but never least, Sango and Miroku are a hot mess! I expect more nonsense out of those two. 0.~

So this is an awesome story. It's very original, and there are so many different stories going on at once that I'm very interested in all of them, not just the Kags/Inu that I'm in love with. I love this sotry and I hope you update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, Kat! :D This is one of my more involved fics. I started waaaaaay back when I still did what I call "all inclusive" stories, instead of ones that solely focused on I/K. So I'm glad you like how everything is moving along. I'm finishing up the next chapter, so it should be up in a few days. ^^

Hey~ i have been a fan of your writing from before this site was made but i think this is my first time commenting. gomen ne m(_ _)m
I really love this story and i am glad its moving along, i hope things will get better, i am sure they will. I really love how you write the brotherly love between Sess and Inu in your fics, its rare to read that they dont really hate each other, i really enjoy and those moments sometimes brings tears to my eyes. I hope you feel better and i will try to comment on as much as i can to show my support. :D

I so appreciate the review love and support for the fics. I'm sorry Hikari has taken so long to get going. This story gives me trouble at times, but we're at the halfway point, so my hope is that I have at least semi-smooth sailing from here on out.
The relationship between Sess & Inu, or rather, the hate between them is really, REALLY exaggerated in fanfic. I know their creator gave enough fodder to make it seem plausible, but I prefer to make them behave with a little care. They fight, sometimes with fists, but I like to believe that if it came right down to it, they would protect each other --and they have if you look at the IY movies and certain episodes. There have been times when InuYasha was in trouble and Sesshomaru came through for him (as a big brother should). Of course, he used the excuse that he wanted to kill him himself, but he never really tries and that's enough for me to take them in the direction that I do. I can't help it! I like seeing them be real bros,.
The next chapter for this is about 50% written and I'll be working on it today, so hopefully, I'll have something for ya soon. Thanks for popping in -don't be a stranger! :D

Hey Grrrl!! It's me from dA!!! I know this is nothing new from me, but I ADORE this story!! Loved the last chapter-I think that one was my absolute favorite thus far. Can't wait for another update on this one-I love how this is playing out as well as the religious twist. It's a different take on the series that I haven't seen before. Meant to review the last two days but had to work and for some reason, when I try to review (of course i put the security code and it won't letme...odd... hope that this time you'll be able to read my review.
You know for the last two chapters ya got me pondering there...Something's brewing in my brain. Here's my theory: Kag's mom looking for extra help and Sess. is going to see the Creator...hmmm pondering here...
And crap, Bankotsu was the one that sent the ex-con after Rin. Poor Rin. And I think the fun has just begun after what Naraku had said in the last few lines of chappie 11.
Well, guess I can say one more time that can't wait to read more and see what will happen next. The story is getting better and awsome! You always leave me hanging at the good parts, :p but at least it gives me time to ponder on my theory by then... :D
