Wow, that is a HIGH compliment, girl. Thank you!! It's only recently (thanks to Lily, in fact) that I started being okay with the way I write again. I'll always feel like I can do better, but I've shaken off a lot of the little insecurities that used to mess with my head and I concentrate more on just giving a fun story. But hey, if I inspire in any way, I'm happy to! We don't have enough authors out here that are willing to encourage others. So slam that chap down, woman! There's some mean S/K in you! xD

I'm still lovin' Sess! He was in the midst of grieving in the last chapter, but now that his head is cleared, it'll be interesting to see what he has planned. Woot! Sess is in control again! XD And I'm curious on why he summoned the Angelic Elite... hmmm...
I'm not a big Jaken fan, but loved him in this chapter! His assessment of Sess was spot on. I totally agree with his description of Sess as being "formidable, but possess enough compassion." Love it! His unconditional faith in Sess was really endearing.
And with one scene, you totally made me love Yasha more. He's facing his punishment and all he can think about is Kagome and how sorry he was.... sniff, sniff... And when he said "I'll never regret you..." I was like all awwww, I found that incredibly romantic.
I loved the insight in Hades. Everyone has their own personal agendas - it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. And I'm more curious than ever about who Am-heh is and what role he plays in all of this. We haven't seen much of Abi lately, but I'm not counting her out either. And Bankotsu going after Rin. Argh! As if Sess doesn't have enough on his plate trying to save his brother, now he'll have to worry about Rin as well. With Rin and Sango (naughtly Miroku! lol) in the picture, our angels now have their own reasons to fight in this war. Before it was all business, now it's personal and (pardon the pun) all hell is gonna break loose. XD
And I can't help but think that in order for this war to be won, Heaven needs someone to lead who is not tied down by the rules, who can think outside of the box. I don't think it's going to be an orthodox war, so they'll need someone who is abit unorthodox at the helm (think Kirk in Star Trek LOL).
So many questions (that totally begs to be answered! XD) Another awesome chapter, babes!

I love Sess, too! He's a lot of fun and I love that I don't have to stick to manga Sess and have him constantly try to kill InuYasha. <.< It's like, to me, they have a fairly typical relationship. They can be at each other's throats and give each other a hard time, but when it's serious, they have each other's backs to the fullest. And I'll give you a hint. He wants to talk to the AE about his plan because he'll need their help. :D
Jaken is NOT a fave for me at all, but I wanted him to play a role in how Sess sees himself. he knows he's powerful , but sometimes that's fear and not always loved. Jaken, like Myoga says, loves blindly with all of his heart so everything he says, Sess knows is true. It gave him that boost he needed to sort of believe in himself and stop being a bump on a log.
Yasha was just to stick a knife in everyone's gut -haha. (Okay, that was mean xD) I did want to show his last thoughts, though, and show that through it all, he wouldn't change his involvement with Kagome.
Hades is just full of tricks. These are people who know they're living on borrowed time so they're doing anything they can to hang on. That's all I'll say. :D Bankotsu is a bastard, though. And I gave a pretty decent hint as to what his plan is in that chapter. I'll give another -it's something he said. Am-heh, well, he's not what you think he is. Sorta. lol.
I haven't decided how thick the war is gonna be, but I'll say that hell doesn't really want one because they know they can't win.

YESSSSSSSS! I was wondering when Sessh would go marching into Araboth. I mean, he's God's right hand man...time to use the position. *fans self* I love it when he gets all regal and boss-like ;) ... even though he still has to answer to the big guy.
And I gotta admit, I felt for Kikyou. A lot. It is sad that she never got to tell him and thinks she'll never be able to (even though...I really don't want her to if he comes back...cuz that'll throw Yasha for a loop >.>) But still...the gang's reactions were sad, too. Especially Kouga--the whole "he wasn't one to start bawling but, why Yash?" Totally broke my heart there.
LOL @ Miroku, though. You weren't kidding! He really is ">.>" But it got Kagome thinking that maybe there is something (and it happens to be a silver-haired beautiful man) out there waiting for her!...so hooray for that.
And JAKEN!!!!! I love him so much right now for being what Sessh needed to hear. Really...after this chapter, he's one of my favorite characters (and I NEVER thought I'd see the day) xD I just love that when everyone else told Sesshomaru "You did all you could do" (or in Totosai's case...the wrong thing) Jaken busts out with all sorts of faith in him.
The power play between Kagura and Naraku is getting interesting, too. Naraku's got his tricks, but Kagura has something Naraku might not know...the missing element, maybe? And then Bankotsu! The characters of the Infernal Battalion read especially creepy which has me shivering at the thought of his plans for Rin!
Very exciting chapter! Everything's building to something big. I liked the conflict between Kagome and Sango again (I laughed at the marriage thing...my parents got married after 3 months...but that's because they're BOTH crazy xD) and I hope she does some serious thinking...preferably before they break our boy out. I can't shake the feeling that Haku and Kikyou and they're feelings are gonna cause some major roadblocks to Inu/Kag.
Lots of excitement and hope (which offset some of the heartbreak. "I'll never forget you" and the redux of the Bijou memory brought on a few sniffles) in this chapter! I love it!

P.S. MAC is awesome. I'm hopeless when it comes to make-up but I picked up this really cool face mask (volcanic ash-something) that goes on black and it feels like the most amazing thing ever on my face...when I'm not using it to draw football stripes or scare my nephew xD Their foundation...the only thing I can apply without injuring myself, is amazing too.

You always catch all of the little things! That's exactly what Jaken was trying to do. He had never seen him doubt himself or his abilities like that, so he wanted to show him that he really was "great" and not a failure. It worked, too. And Sess? That man can be pretty darned sexy, lol. He's gorgeous when he's not trying to kill my boo! I also like writing him like a real brother is supposed to be, and not just a fucking menace. >.>
Kikyou is pitiful. I almost feel like I'm just laying all the "kagome" on her <.< and maybe I am! (Remember that thread on Redemp? Haha! Revenge is sweet!) But you're nosing in the right direction. Depending on what happens if Yasha is returned, she'll see this as a second chance and she's not gonna want to waste it.
Miroku is a skank! xD I've been neglecting them in order to move certain parts of the story along, but they'll get their moment soon. Same with Hakudoushi. I deliberately don't focus on him that much, but he'll get some spotlight here and there, especially after this next chapter.
Kagura/Naraku/Am-heh is a funny mix. No one knows much about him, but he'll be revealed soon enough, and that oughta be fun.
Sango is the sense in Kagome's senselessness. There's always gotta be at least one character that has a brain, BUT she's got issues of her own. Who has oral sex with invisible people? LOL. Of course, Kags doesn't completely believe that, but it shows that Sango needs sense at times, too. No hints on the roadblocks! There may be some >.> or not. <.<
MAC is the SHIT. Try their lipglass. My favorite is Prr -a shimmery pink and it's GORGEOUS. Their foundations are wonderful, as are their pencil eyeliners, lipsticks, and eyeshadows. And they have all KINDS of shit. You need to visit the PRO store. *faints at the buckets of wonderful* Their brushes are to die for, too. Just all around GREAT shit!

"With exceptional power comes exceptional responsibility..." LMAO! Have the Seraphim been watching too much Spiderman? And wow...what douchebags. Sesshomaru made really good points, but they'd already prejudged InuYasha. The turnout was so heartbreaking! Even more so with Sesshomaru remembering little Bijou. I could picture a chubby baby Yasha on too small wings vividly (especially the whole landing on Sessh's hands butt first). How precious! But sad, because now he's completely broken and Sessh has to deal with the guilt of not being able to protect him from what happened.
On a completely separate--nerdier--note, Mathey is an interesting place of punishment. Not sure if you did it on purpose or not, but in Dante Allighieri's hell, the punishment for the sixth circle was to have the sinners encased in fiery tombs. Heresy was punished, which doesn't exactly fit here, but if you really wanna stretch it, one of the sinners specifically called out was an Epicurean, and their belief was that they could pretty much do whatever they wanted in life because they didn't foresee an end/consequence to their actions...which is what InuYasha sorta did. He didn't really think of consequences or an end when he broke all those rules and now he's (quite literally) getting burned for it. Another cool thing: the sinners could only see the future, and all Yasha thinks he has to look forward to now is what's ahead, since he'll be sleeping and probably unable to think/reflect/or know anything about the present or past.
Anyway (/end-nerd-rant), I'm just amazed by this story and how things are turning out...and I'm loving all this gut-wrenching angst! You have me feeling for the characters, especially InuYasha.
As for Kagome, the Big G must have a really awesome cleaning crew! But I wonder how much the memory or "dream" will bug her, and what she'll do about it...and if Hakudoshin had a similar waking experience, or if her trying to spend less time with him in favor of spending more time with her friends will keep her ignorant of his side of the story for a while.
And Sango! Completely the reverse of what happened in 'Loved!' I gotta admit, Kagome getting it handed to her this time was equally as fun. I love their friendship and the way they always make up in your stories (even if tutus, butts, and a loss of dignity have to come into play ^^)
I'm really eager to see how Kouga and the gang plan to jail-break our boy, what Bankotsu has in store for Rin/Sesshomaru and Naraku for Kagura, and why Sango's needed Kagome for so long (is my other favorite angel doing his own bit of gallivanting in the form of more ghostly gropes?? Lol!)
Its nice that you're having a blast with this one. I hope the feeling stays, because I'm having just as much fun reading as you put the IY gang through one hell of a ringer! The Hikari song was a nice touch, too. And for some reason, it sounds familiar.
Anyway, I loved the chapter (if that wasn't already obvious ;p)

Author's Response: LOL! Noooo, I didn't get that from Spiderman. That saying is really old -my gram used to say it. Only, she used "great" and not "exceptional". I just ganked it off of her! And Baby Yasha! AWWW! I could picture him, too. I love when the brothers act like brothers in fanfic, especially when Sess is protective. I would expect nothing less from a real older brother, ya know? It warms me up when they're sweet to each other (on a non-yaoi level).
The Mathy thing, actually, is based on some Angelology, I picked when I decided to start this story. I came across 2 names for the 5th heaven -Mathey and Machron, but I went with the first, and supposedly, it was that way -fire and smoke, made to remind a sinner of Gehenna. InuYasha isn't a Epicurean, though. Homeboy can't see shit into the future or anything like that. xD
Kagome's room and stuff is explained in the next chapter, and honestly, Sess thinks she has no recollection of anything. haha -not true! Sango, for some reason, is prone to being tarded with Kagome. :P That's how I am with my girls -I'm always saying something crazy, so I usually end up showing that in th female relationships, especially with them. Butt out? Totally something I'd say.
As for the gang, I'll just say this. If Sesshomaru couldn't sway the Seraphim, trust me, neither can they, lol. Bankotsu is devious -and fun. I was kinda shocked that no one figured out that Hades had something to do with that attack because it was all so "convenient". Miroku >.> that's all I have to say Naraku and Kagura are funny. I'm writing a big scene between Kagura and Am-heh now (not hentai) and she's definitely trying to save herself at any cost.
Other than the yaoi, I haven't done any citrus in this, but that's cause it's reserved! Plus, this is action/adventure, not really a lemon fic. But you know me, I'll get my licks in eventually.
Thanks for giving this fic such HUGE support. It hasn't been updated in AGES so I know a lot of people gave up on it, but I think I'm proving that it's far from dead, and the few that have really come out in support of it will (hopefully) get their time's worth. :D
P.S. Hikari is the Japanese version of the song. Simple and Clean is the English version, and both were made for the game "Kingdom Hearts", so that's probably where you heard it. It's performed by Hikaru Utada, who will be showing up on the goodies list soon cause she's the awesome!

First off: SQUEEEEEEEEEE on the song Hikari that plays as I read this! And second: ANOTHERR WICKEDLY AWESOME CHAPTER!!!!
This is so incredibly hard on InuYasha. To watch the one he loves and to know that she doesn't know he 'exists' - so to speak. Oh, the heartbreak he must feel.... and to be an Angel... Is he on the cusp of becoming a Fallen Angel? (Been reading my Demonica series - Fallen Angels can be teetering between going straight to work for the Satan or doing something to earn him back into Heaven)
I enjoyed the way Kikyou brought InuYasha to a halt with his ire and his crankiness. Her words very true. ANd I nearly cried when he confessed to her that what she had mentioned had been coming true.
I am so awed every time with the way you protray the characters... giving them such richness .... and such de-lick-ous angst!
Rin was really intriguing for me. Being a recluse and one who has been hurt in the past. I am drawn in!

The whole part with InuYasha having to see/hear Kagome get proposed to then accept it was so devastating! I was hearbroken for him! And so worried when he slipped into madness in his grief!
Though I do have a weird feeling about Hakadoushi. Something is off... but I can't place my finger on it.
She heard his voice?! oh holy.... ! This song you used reaaaalllllly is a perfect match!
And then when Sesshoumaru used his powers on InuYasha.... what a cliffie!!
Okay... I am completely on the edge of my seat for this chapter!! And it was such an incredibly powerful and heartwrenching chapter!!!

Sesshomaru breaking every vowful duty and forcing someone to commit suicide for his own gain... InuYasha, becoming so obsessive over someone he knew in the begining that he couldn't have that he attempted to slaughter a complete innocent (and I am not a Haku fan in the least mind you) after claiming Kagome to be mere property to him and to know her place?
Angels being hypocrites, ironic heh.
I only wonder how this could possibly end well. Don't get me wrong, I'm hooked on this, but our main character became pretty despicable in my eyes after this chap. I hope he gets his wings clipped for that one.
Author's Response: It was explained from the beginning that this is my fictional version of heaven where the angels were sinful, so not it's really ironic for me since, as a Christian, I don't believe true angels are this way at all.
As for InuYasha, maybe his emotions didn't come off (to you) the way I had hoped to convey them, but he doesn't see Kagome as property at all. He's in love, and if you've ever been, then you know that sometimes love isn't rational. It can be fiery and insane and make you do and say things you normally wouldn't because you love and want this person so much. And in his case, he's battling this deep love on top of never being able to have her on top of watching someone else be able to say/do things with her that he never will. He's tormented and it shows.
Sesshomaru didn't entice a murderer to kill himself for his own gain. He actually had nothing to gain from that act except saving Rin's life, so I guess we're looking at this story from two very different perspectives, but I'm glad you (kinda?) enjoy reading it. :)
