DaGrrrl says: Oh, I love Kagura/Sess -far more than Rin/Sess. When I first starting writing (this story is really old), I did Rin/Sess because a friend of mine who read my stuff loved them as a couple. But I prefer Sess/Kagura with Rin as a daughter figure. It just makes more sense to me.

I shouldn't have re read this!!! now my ayes are all puffy and red! heheeehhehe but i can't stay away from this story! It is one of my favorites! SO much angst..I love the parts where in inuyasha will sneak into kagomes world..

A truly tragic and sad story, but certainly s beautifully done one as well! I rarely ever cry, but I did actually find myself doing just that while reading, a true testament to just how great a writer you really are! The ending was a bittersweet one, knowing that Kagome will have a chance with this reincarnation of Inuyasha, yet can never again be with the hanyou she fell in love with. Of course if Inuyasha hadn't been a complete baka from the beginning then none of this would have ever happened. If he had even an ounce of common sense in him then his family and friends would still be alive and Kagome would never have had to suffer the way she has, maybe this Inuyasha will be at least have a few brain cells, lol, not likely, this IS still a version of Yash after all! Well, all in all you've created a really wonderful tale so far and I look forward to seeing how things will turn out in part two!

DaGrrrl says: When I wrote this one, the anime was far from finished and InuYasha was going through the whole Kikyou or Kagome, go to hell with the clay girl thing, so this story is a reflection of that. He wanted to be with Kagome, but his duty was to Kikyou, and he chose to honor the first girl he'd been with and deny is heart. Sad, but totally something I saw him doing (and he did do it in the anime once).

I don't find InuYasha dumb or brainless (and it irks me when he's portrayed that way in fanfic). He's trying to be honorable and his heart has been torn. He infuriates me, and he's made mistakes, but it's never malicious. In this story, he just wanted to do the right thing, and thought he had, but it turned into a complete mess that cost him everything. That's kind of what I wanted to say with this story: Follow your heart. It's always the right choice. :)
