Congratulations in finishing another wonderful story Kiki! It took a while but I’m glad that you finished them. For a second there, around the end, I thought it was one of the group saying that ‘giving up your soul as a second time means that you’ll never be reborn again.’ Then they didn’t pop out of the well at the end of the chapter. I thought they gave up their lives for Kagome to live with InuYasha. I’m glad that didn’t happy and Miroku and Sango can make babies! Hehe…
The fight scene was wonderfully written and making Tsubaki crazy was a weird little touch. But I still liked it. Naraku was sooooo evil to kill InuYasha. Grr…
It was kind of odd.. To me that Kikyo tried killing everyone (and succeeded in killing everyone but Kagome) in FORGIVE ME ANYTHING 1, then it showed Kikyo being nice in the second. It was nice to see how she’s made amends with everything and let Kagome live with InuYasha.
I loved the way you wrote this story, it was in such a way that only you could come up with. It was so beautiful how you ended the last story and made it flow into his one. Overall, I think this was one of your best stories. Another chapter, an epilogue would be nice but I know that you wanted this story to be over and done with. Thank you for writing this wonderful story!!!

I guess in this one, I wanted Kikyou to go in peace. In FMA1, the issue was always that being brought back from the dead tapped into the evil she'd always been able to keep out of her system. So things like jealousy, hate, and rage were things she didn't allow herself to feel as a pure priestess, but being brought back let it loose (kinda like the anime). She hated Yasha for not loving her anymore. In this one, she was no longer evil and understood that their time had passed. She still loved Yasha, but she knew she couldn't have him. So in the end, she gave back the sould she could have kept so that Kagome could live. It's like she wanted to do one last kind thing for InuYasha.
So, and epi isn't likely, but only because I don't really have anything left to say on the story, lol.

i vote for an epilogue. You don't have to make it terribly long. Maybe just something like what happens in the future. I would really love for that to happen so please make an epilogue for all of us who stayed with this fic the whole time.

don't end it there. Make a happy epilogue. I liked the one you made for the first story and i want at least one more chapter. Where are the rest of them? Shouldn't they have come through the well shortly after Inuyasha? Please just give us one last chapter. This and it's prequel have been my favorites of all your stories.
Author's Response: Wow, I'm humbled that you liked this story so much when I don't feel like I did my best. I wanted it to end and stopped caring about 6 chapters ago how I got there. I appreciate that, and for you, I will seriously consider a short epilogue.
And yes, the gang would be exiting right behind them. No one died or was left behind in the past, I promise!

I don’t think an epilogue is necessary. I’m glad the story is over, as it was drawn out with twists and turns, and as a writer, you had an intricate storyline. I believe what you did here, was a challenge that few authors would have been able to carry out as well as you did. Be proud of yourself!

The last 3 chaps would have been 3 if my site didn't bitch at me for chaps longer than 10,000 words. The final chap would have been close to 17,000, which caused me to to have to break it up. But we're done, it's over, and now I'm off to write the next.

oh my God...oh my God. That was so good! I teared up when kagome killed herself and then inuyasha had to feel that same pain that kagome did. Jesus, this is one of your best fics inugrrrl. Really, i mean the journey that Inuyasha and Kagome had to go through was very well put and very well thought out. It was so heart wrenching at times. I loved this story from FMA to FMA2. I'm not trying to sound sappy or anything, but thank you for writing it. This story is truly one of my favorites.

Nice finish. I'm glad that they will finally be able to be together without interference.....even if they did have to die AGAIN! LOL. For a minute, I really thought that this story might end just like the first FMA.....something about not being able to avoid your true destiny. So, I'm glad to see that I was wrong.
Congratulations on finally being done with this one, since it apparently wasn't a favorite of yours. A lot of us fans are big babies about sad endings, so I am glad that you had mercy, and fixed this for us, lol.

Wowie. I'm thoroughly impressed with the way you managed this!! I'll admit that I didn't like the whole Romeo & Juliet thing, or the corny ending (XD), but some parts were so awesome they gave me the chills!!

I loved how you put the story together; how Kikyou gave Kagome her soul in the end because she saw they were all suicidey in love. (So did Sesshoumaru revive Kikyou instead of Kagome because there's only one soul between them?) Anyways, you actually pulled off the battle royale- and pulled it off with style. It got to the point where I could imagine it as a movie =O.
I especially liked the part where Inu recovers his sword in the hut, and the part where he died was awesome ._. You wrote Sesshoumaru especially well in this one I think - and there were heaps of unique phrases and descriptions you used that really stuck with me.
Great work! It's over!

I didn't want a big scene, and I didn't want a lot of crazy emotion. I wanted them to just "go home", ya know? Would you believe I didn't even think about Romeo & Juliet until after I posted! I was like >.< lol. But I needed Kagome to die.
Sess was my fave character in this one I think. He's just fun! <.< and I can't say that all the time, lol. But overall, I'm glad you liked it despite its "flaws", lmao. Only you, Axel. That's why I love ya!
Oh, and how I pictured it was the soul basically returned to Kikyou because she was its original owner and Kagome didn't have her own reincarnaion yet. So Sess didn't necessarily save Kikyou. ^^

you know, absorbing Kagome's soul would actually have a negative effect on Naraku. I mean, miko powers are those of being able to purify demons. For a demon to take it in itself and then use it would end up hurting Naraku. Having pure energy inside him like that makes me think it might destroy the demons in his body and using it will only hurt him on the outside. For him to just be able to freely use it with no negative side effects on his demon body doesn't seem all that realistic. Just thought you ought to know. It was a good chapter though and i can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: That's a good point, since he's part demon after all. He's been able to use them as tools, but I never said it wasn't hurting him -the story isn't over just yet. ^^ As for realism, none of this is even remotely realistic, lol. It was my way of simply "ending this thing" as I've been saying for months. With one chap to go, I'm at the "hell yeah" point. This story was never a fave and it just annoys me that I have to complete it at all. So I wouldn't look for perfection in any sense if I were you, lol.

Oooooh exciting! What does Wo ai ni mean? Something to do with love but...never mind, randomness. Soooo Inuyasha was able to get Tsubaki out of the hut. Good good. And Kikyo and Kagome are fighting inside Naraku, also good. All is good.
I vote no epilogue because usually the point of epilogues are to show a major time skip and since Kagome had a baby in FMA, there's no other major milestones. Well, there is the wedding but we have all been to weddings before, so we'll just imagine it. 0.~
