Favorite part: I really love how you initially have Sango crushing on Inuyasha instead of the obvious choice (Miroku) because it's normal for any girl to get attached to someone who's showing her affection, being nice and all like Inu is, even if he's only being himself; he cares for his friends, and does it in his own special way. Having Sango misinterpret his friendly actions as romantic is something I'd expect from any girl! I mean hell I'd do the same lol. So the realism is a nice touch! ^_^ Miroku's irritation is expected and completely normal too!

Title: The Sweetest Sixteen
This is the best and most horrible decision I have ever made to reread this wonderful masterpiece because the first (and second, and third...) time I read it (and going back to being a giant pooper because I never reviewed shame on me) I cried tears of happiness and then sadness and back again and then BAWLED MY EYES OUT AGAIN BECAUSE THE ANGST IS SO GOOD. This story tortures me. I love it, I hate it, buT I LOVE IT AND I have to say that The Edge of Seventeen is probably my all-time favorite story you have ever written. ...Well, that's completed anyway haha. Honesty I could probably go on and on about my love/hate relationship with this story but then we'd be here for hours and...yeah... *cough*
So, moving on, even though I will cry like a baby, I will also laugh, snicker, snort, smile, gape like an idiot, squeal like an even BIGGER idiot, curse out loud, and shake my head in disgust, I know I will not regret reading this story and I'm looking forward every chapter!
Favorite part of this chapter: Well this probably goes for EVERY chapter, but I simply adore how you characterize Inuyasha. You make him this sweet boy who you can't help but fall in love with but at the same time you still give him his other gruff traits and we're able to catch a glimpse of the usual rough, take-no-shit attitude and I really admire that!
Last parting thought (I'm gonna start abbreviating this to LPT because I'm a lazy POS): This is gonna be one HELL of a ride...wtf am I doing

Wow, I can't believe it's been a year since I last read this story. It still tugs at my heart every time I read a chapter. I feel like I'm reading a new story every time I come back to it. I seem to find something new that makes me love this story even more every time I read it.
Thank you for sharing such a story for others to read, it brings a little moment of escape from the everyday world when I read great stories such as this one.

EoS is SO old, but still a favorite for me. It took me ages to finally put it to bed (I think a part of me didn't want it to end), but it was one of my proudest moments, mistakes and all!

It's one of my faves and took a lot of time to complete, so I guess you can call it one of the jewels in the crown. I'd like to go back and clean it up one day, but there never seems to be enough time for that sort of thing... sigh. But still, it made my day to hear that it was well-liked! ^^

Author's Response: Thanks for all nice comments -and I totally don't mind 'reaction' comments. They're fun! I don't like to be critiqued -I don't write for that purpose- but seeing how my readers react to the story the characters are telling is awesome, so please, carry on!
And yeah, their age difference is a bit distressing for some, but when he's an adult, those 7 years won't really matter. However, you're right that society tends to frown on that. As for the age of consent, yeah, it's 14, but that's kinda more of a rural thing. Major cities don't really acknowledge that -they acknowledge 18- so that's what would have gotten Kagome in some hot water. I don't want to say much else since you're nearly finished. Hope you enjoy the rest! ^^
