I had thought this was one of the ones you were leaving go, and I was OK with that because I know the pain you were having in your hands, so color me very surprised when I found this was the one that hit me email!
YAY! and I laughed, so hard, when you added Baka!
And I remember how this got started. If anyone could write this pairing, it would be you. And you did it! WooHoo!
This story aside; your own Mama would be very proud of you, just as I am!

I wasn't expecting any of the twists and turns at this point. This is great. Usually I can guess but I've been completely thrown all the way. I ca also feel the sadness and heartache here. Excellent chapter.

I love how you used "Get Ready". It is the perfect song for this scene. This is a very different pairing indeed and I want to see where this goes, and how it gets there.

I actually rewrote/cleaned up this chapter tonight (It really needed it and I wanted to change/cut some of the performance). But yeah, I thought that was THE song for them. I'm a music nut -I listen to EVERYTHING, so I have an arsenal when it's time to throw up a songfic -Hehe- and this just seemed like something "Lil Yash" would be thinking. XD

I needed to take a bit to refresh the story. It was hard to get into and the character pairings are off, the character development was spot on and the story was beautifully written. I could feel the angst and love and betrayal all in one. Great job!

This was a request/gift, but it was also a joy to write and complete because the recipient is special to me. THAT SAID, thanks for checking it out. I don't like to READ everything, but I can write ANYTHING, so pairings don't really bug me -unless it's InuYasha/Kikyou. That's the only pairing I'll never write (though I could if I really wanted to).

DAMN IT!!!
I swear, every time I think I will just peek, just out of curiosity, I end up hooked and here I am, at shore, flipping up and down like a dying fish gasping for it's last breath!!!
How the heck do you do it?? Kaede??? Really??? KAEDE?? and INU??? No way!!! I kept thinking "-Sacrilegious!-" So I never even took a tiny peek (Shame on me and I dutifully regret it).
But then you decided to send note of an update, when I didn't recognize the name of the story I was a bit confused, so I came over to see what it was... And then my eyes got as big as plates!!! WHO??? AND WHOOOO??? No Effing Way!!
But then I remembered, this is my favorite Grrrl!! The one that works magic with words, the one that makes me fall in love with words! And takes me away to a place where no one can touch me!
So, I began to read... and kept reading... and reading... and reading... And now, I am here, telling you again how much I love you!!
You darn brat!!! You got to me again!!! It was so good!!! And even thou I swore I would not, I did, and I loved it!!
***Shakes fist in the air*** Damn this weakness that kills me over and over!!! I need to find a way to resist her power!! She has complete control over me!!! I want to go to rehab, but just thinking about it makes me come back running and swearing that NEVER will I have enough!! Never will I abandon you!! My favorite drug!! My much needed fix!! LOL. I practically OC'd Kaede since I made a much younger version (and she had both eyes XD), but I enjoyed writing it for my Onnamom. Plus, it's good practice to be able to write anything, regardless if it's out of my usual zone. If a writer can't do that, then they're not a real writer, are they? :D

So I read your blog and remembered you mentioning your next update would be a story that was non-InuKag, and I immediately thought of this one. I admit, I read this once before and didn't review FOREVER ago before you were Goober and I was Nutella so I thought I'd read it again and this time show my appreciation. InuKag will always be my fav, but I gotta say Goober, this story has caught my interest. A very unusual pairing, and you pull it off effortlessly. =]
Haha Inu was such a little brat but I melted when he started screaming for Kaede. Onward to the next one!!!

This thing has been sitting in storage for 5 years. D: So I read over some of it and decided to try finishing that elusive final chapter and it worked. lol. Now, I'd like to comb over the early chapters just to make it a bit more neat (I may do that after I finish this response). And yus! You know, I honestly don't remember ever reading this story. But I totally just read the whole thing right now and I have to say that I loved it. Very different from the normal cliche ones and I liked it. Though I keep picturing Kaede as the one in the show haha. But well done! Thanks for the second update and can't wait for whatever's next!
