Ahh..the promised "sugar," lol. I loves it, even if it was sugar sprinkled with smut (okay, okay--especially because it was sprinkled with smut), but seriously? This is great. When you say you'll deliver, you freakin' deliver Grrrl! Like with Miroku and Sango? Amazing. All that hotness and they were still wearing pants! You also made Miro not-as-much-of-an-ass as he was in the beginning--now that he's getting a job and doesn't seem like he's running too much of a game on Sango. I get that he's had a rough life but, yo.....he was a bum xP I like that you show him changing and becoming a better person. The scene with his mom was cute, too.
I'm definetely looking forward to the next, when Inu/Kag have the floor to themselves (its soooo wrong, but its them..so what the hey?) Plus, even though I tend to gush more about the fluff, I can feel the angst building up and am practically shaking with excitement for when it all comes out and what'll happen. This story is so unconventional and heartbreaking, and what bugs me out is that its realistic too. Save for the inscest bit, the Takahashi clan is a normal family (hell, I could pick out so many similarities to my own!) that are stuck in a sucky situation. Its a no-win. Or....? Who knows. I'm excited to see where you take this.
Omg! And Soylent Green! The last time I saw that was when I was like 5! Too funny! Until the next chap, Grrrl!

Wow. What a quick update! Thanks, grrrl! Because it was definitely awesome. And HOT! The restroom bj was EXTREMELY hot. I just find myself cringing a bit every time these two have their little....sessions. It's not too bad because it's still Inu/Kag....but, still, in this story, they are BROTHER and SISTER, so it's an extremely guilty pleasure this time. And all of it so far has just been FOREPLAY. It says something about a writer when her make out sessions are better than some people's lemons :D. And it seems that the stars have aligned so that the main event will either come close or actually happen next time. What were the chances that their parental units would get a nice room on another floor?! I'll definitely be watching and waiting for this next one.
And as for Miroku and Sango....I loved the stuff with them as well. Their make out session was hot, too. But, my favorite part was the start of the reconciliation between Miroku and his mom. It is miserable to be estranged from relatives, so I was so glad to see those two make some significant progress. Great one, girl. I look forward to the next.

I know the update was pretty quick (for a change), but I was feeling it and decided to strike while it was there. Inspiration likes to come and go on me, so I want to get what I can, while I can. This Miro and Sango are probably my fave ones of all my fics. I have their flow down, and that's saying something because they're hard to pen. Well, everything that isn't I/K is hard to pen. The stuff with his mom was a long time in coming, too. Their relationship sucked and I needed them to get it together! lol. This chapter was light and lemony, but I can't help feel the ominous tone beneath it all. A part of me thinks that InuYasha isin't going to make it to University... It's a dangerous game they're playing - I just hope that they can win it even if all the odds are stacked up against them.

I know you were worried about this chapter, but I think it was fabulous! I really liked the interaction between Toga and Izayoi. "Why should I drop you when I can simply make you fall?" Loved this line. ^_^
"I guess one can never truly let go of their children," he said, stroking her cheek. "All we can do is hope they become the people we raised them to be." Loved this line, too - as a parent, it's so true!
So, now I'm left wondering exactly how Toga will react. You revealed abit of his background and his siblings past... but he loves his kids so much, so how is he going to handle finding out.... you've raised a few more questions for us.

Wow! That was a fast update! I belive my decision to start reading this story was right on time! But be careful! I feel so spoiled now, I might start whining like a pup until the next chapter comes out. ^_^
Things are looking up for Miroku. It was a sad change --but a change nevertheless-- to see him so out of it in this story. I'm glad he decided to hold onto life.
Toga and Izayoi are so sweet and considerate, I feel really bad for them. Such loving parents... They definitely do not deserve what's coming. Inuyasha is right to think so lowly of himself. Heck! Even I hate myself for cheering them on when I think about their parents! Bad Grrrl! You threw us into a horrible, horrible dilemma!
But what can we do if such a great sin can be so delicious? Heheh! First you make me feel guilty with that adorable couple's show of love for their children, and then you give me those two scenes filled with accursed passion! And now I want more! You're evil I tell you... ^_^

Thanks for another great review and I'm happy you're enjoying the show. I agree, Miroku's story is sad, but I tend to do that sometimes. I like to take the IY people out of their regular "shtick" and deposit them into a situation they aren't used to. Miroku is usually the scholarly, smart one, and InuYasha is often made to look like the idiot. I reversed those roles, that's all. :) (Okay, maybe it's because I'm absolutely partial to InuYasha and will put no one before him. >.>)
Toga and Izayoi are kind of like blank slates. Other than fanfic, we don't know what their relationship was like, so I enjoy toying with that. In this, they're these loving, wonderful parents, but that can always change -haha.
Ooooh, accursed passion! I love that! I think sinful fanfic is a GOOD thing. :D We read to lose ourselves in someone else, so I just dump a little extra pepper on it and keep a glass of ice water close by. o.~

Great chapter, sis. *hugs* Thanks for getting it up so fast. Miroku and Sango are so cute together. I loved that teasing earlier, and the dry humping, in typical teen fashion, was so hot, yet there was an innocence about it. Doesn't make much sense but... On to Inu and Kags! :) Woo-eee! Things are really hotting up. That scene in the car and in the bathroom... *fans self* I'm glad that Kagome is gaining some power in the relationship, though she proabably always had it. For a little while, I was starting to agree with Sango's assessment of their relationship... Hmm... A floor between them and the parents. What do you have planned! LOL By the way, I'm still loving their parents. They're so cute! :D

Author's Response: OMG, Sis, I read this and almost peed my pants! LOL. I forgot how funny that line was. I saw it on one of the movie channels late at night and just wigged out on the whole thing. It's insane! (And Heston is so not cute, lol.)
I had KOR in the blood, so the update kinda flew out of me. I'm hoping I can do it again! I like Miro and San. he's a total stupid and she's in need of someone to bring out her softer side. The dry humping was just comic relief. :P
InuYasha and Kagome, though. I was feeling the bathroom scene. xD It flowed really easily (and lemons/limes NEVER do) and I just sat back and had some fun. Did you really think Kags is his lapdog? Naw... Their angle is that he's the older, wiser, more experienced one. Kagome is naive and young. He's had a few years to live with this while she's flying kind of blind. Plus, she's a fairly emotional girl, so he tries to keep her grounded. But as far as the love between them, that's completely equal. He'd do anything for her and there isn't a woman alive that can turn his head. :D
Everyone likes the parents, lol. Makes me feel kinda bad.... heh.

They say if things seem too good to be true they probably are, but I hope the two get this weekend trip before the shit really starts to hit the fan, but only time will tell regardless.

I really wanted Miroku to make up with his mother, too. He needed to grow up, and it kinda shows that wanting to impress Sango is a strong motivator. :D
