So, I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about this story to begin with after reading the summary (the whole incest thing and all). But after the first chapter (or prologue I suppose) I was hooked. Despite it being all incestuous and whatnot I was surprisingly glad I gave it a chance. Between you adn me, the only reason I even bothered was because I know how wonderful your other stories are, so if anyone could write a story like this that I enjoy it'd be you. Once again you didn't fail to surpass previous expectations and I can honestly say that I pretty much ADORE this story (even with the incest!). You never cease to amaze me with your wonderful writing. Kepp it up and I'll just stick by my computer waiting for the next chapter! P.s. I reviewed way late, but I spent a good portion of the wee morning hours reading this because I couldnt sleep at 4 am. I finished sometime around 6 am.. :D
Author's Response: Thank you VERY much, Amanda. ^_^ Honestly, I get this reaction a lot to this story. When I first started it I was pretty sure most of the people that read my stuff wouldn't be into it. But I really wanted to write it, so I did. But pretty much out of the gate the response was positive. I had a few that were squicked, but of those that kept reading, they soon changed their mind -much to my happiness. I just felt it was a story that should be told. So I'm grateful for all of the support and positive energy the lovelies give me. <3 And thank YOU for sticking around to check out my fictions. I was so looking forward to reading this and I have to admit that you just blew me away! These past 2 chapters were amazing. I love the way you write, you have an amazing ablity to write passion with feeling and it just feeds into the story with it's own amazing rhythm.
Really looking forward to seeing what happens now. Inu has still applied to UCLA and Kagome is stuck at home. Hmmm, this could get interesting!

This story only has about 5 chapters left to it (maybe less), but I'm hoping they'll pack a punch and the lovelies will like it. If that's how intense your lime is for this story I'll be drooling until the lemon finally comes. haha. Seriously, that was so unbelievably hot, I can hardly contain myself waiting for the real smut to comeee. =D
I love the roles Sango and Kikyo are playing in this, and I must confess for once I'm frustrated with Sango and am really getting a feel for Kikyo - especially with the suicide story [which I loved by the way.] However at this point in the plot, I'm afraid I don't know who to trust more, Kikyo or Sango. Perhaps that's just the fact that Kikyo = bitch has been engrained into my mind for so long.
Anyway, beautiful job as always. You're definitely making my comeback into the realm of IY fan fiction an excellent one; thankyouthankyouthankyou; you're the reason I started reading again! lol.

Sango and Kikyou are tough. they're both good people, even if Sango is being a butthead right now. She cares for kags, and Kikyou cares for yash, and since she's privy to more, she sees it with wider eyes than Sango does. It's hard to dislike either of them. But I do know the Kik= bitch thing -I still do it- but she just may be a gem this time -though it's >.> too early to tell.

I like the twist that Sango can't cook and Miroku does. very nice! I love the interaction between Miroku and Sango! The playful banter! Then to add in the realistic question of why Sango hates/loathes InuYasha. I love that bonus of tension!!
I got a giggle from the line InuYasha could be abrasive as hell, making everyone within a twelve mile radius flinch when he was pissed off. I could see this! He is very volitile when he's ticked. XD
Oh!! I love this Freudian Slip!!t's perfect and the timing was awesome!
I can see this worm niggling its way into Miroku's brain as Inu's "hypothetical" question comes back! I can see the horror coming up! The heartrending and highly delicious Angst!! I'm wriggling already!!
That twist to InuYasha's confession to Kikyou!! It blew me off my feet, out of my chair and flat on the floor!! It was Wicked!! I LOVES IT!! Wow!! So freaking sweet to see Kikyou in this type of roll! Such a rarity!!
I love it!! That she isn't condeming him! (yet -hopefully never)
I love that Kikyou opened up to InuYasha after being so vehment when he made that suicide remark. Kudos for Kikyou for being angry at him for that!
I wonder if Kikyou may have a Freudian Slip of her own later on? or if it'll be Miroku who puts two and two together and gets "Ready the Firing Squad"?
Thank you for making this subject very real! Very painfully real and not the rose-coloured glasses romantic view written by immature children who think it's the greatest romantic tale ever since sliced bread! Thank you for making InuYasha understand his love in every light he can!
And that insight into Kikyou's credit card!! I love it! I think she's has a grudge in her against her Mother for her father's death. WOw! That's a twist that wasn't expected!
Oh yes!! You did the Pillow fight brilliantly!! I loves it!! I love that Kagome was wallowing in her jealousy and insecurities while InuYasha was out and began to think the worst! Beautiful! Angsty... and just like a highly jealous woman in love.
Their fight was awesome!! I really love it!

Author's Response: Nikkie, you totally flatter me. I try, but hell if you don't make it seem 100x better than I thought it was. :P I'm so happy you enjoy this one. It has such a squick factor for many, and I remember when you were reluctant to try it, but you did! And you liked it enough to make some wicked art that a lot of people mentioned in their reviews. Lovely art, as always. You truly captured the sadness and love in their situation. :)
As for Sango and Miroku -they're fun and not perfect. I tried to hold on to his pervy-ness, but I always felt that most people rely to heavily on that in stories. Miro IS a perv, but he's also very intelligent and can be quite serious when he needs to be. So I usually let the lecher in him play a backseat. Sango is always a fighter -can't change that. But she isn't always right, so I like toying with that. InuYasha, well, he's my baby. xD I always make him volatile and complex in the inside. He always has demons with him that he needs to overcome and Kagome is usually the one that helps him. In this one, Kagome is young and idealistic. InuYasha is more of a realist. She sees the fanciful romance, and he sees the world around them burning to ash. They play off each other really well and KOR is a pleasure to pen -especially for lovelies like you that really have a good time with it.
And yus, I did not forget the pillow fight. He had to get that beating, lol.

Of all of your wonderful stories, this is by far my favorite, so much agnst and the shit hasn't even hit the fan yet. I just hope they end up happy together even if they get ousted by their family and friends.

I think you're my most enthusiastic lovelie when it comes to this story and I thank you SO much for that. It really makes getting the chapters out worth it. I'm working on some other fictions, but then I'm coming right back to this one. For some reason, I have it on the brain right now, so I want to get more of it out. There aren't many chapters left, so the story should unfold rather quickly. And that's all I can say! :D

Honestly, this has to be thelike wierdest stories of Inuxkag I ever seen or read but this is interesting :D

Miroku and Sango, oh, Lord, they are going to figure it out aren't they?? I can just see it happening, everyone knowing, and everyone shunning them. Will their friends ever accept them again? And their parents? Ohh, my God. And Kikyo!! Who would have thought? It's great to not have her as the villain in this. I wasn't really surprised in her reaction, seeing as I'd been sort of expecting it after the last few chaps... But wow, it's all just so dramatic, I'm chewing my fingers off!
I'm very honestly worrying about them! That last part made my stomach tighten, in that way it always tightens when I'm reaaaally stressed. You're such an amazing story teller, Kiki, thanks soo much for this amazing chapter.

We have at least 5 chapters to go, so stay tuned. And thankies! I'm a slave to two things: Music and InuYasha, and I put the two of them together as often as possible! xD But somehow, I just always seem to get lucky and choose songs that will look good with the chap, so I'll claim it as a rare gift! amazing!!! I love this story lots!!! 'showers you with sakura blossoms' I still see the old golden touch and this story has always been one of my personal favorites (on the list of about 20 others ^_^) lol Anyway, you take care of yourself (don't go spraining you hands >.< ) and I'll talk to you next chapter.

Thank God you updated!!!! I can just only imagine how things might escalate in this story. This is only the beginning i know. What will happen if the parents find out? OH, that is gonna be fucking heartbreaking. I really like this story, but you capture inuyasha's self-loathing and confusion so well. This story makes me think. I waited all day to be able to sit in peace and at least semi quiet to read, and am totally lovin this! w00t!
Sango's so determined to do something she'll regret it seems, despite Miroku's warning. And how much can Yash actually trust Kikyo? Maybe he can but how much will Sango get out her?
So much weight on one young mans shoulders, still, hes prepared to do whatever it takes. No turning back now it would seem, tho I dont think he would ifin he could.
Sooo much hawtness there, My Onna - I think after that the whole place lit up! And the song was perfect for the perfection that this was! :P Hugzzz...
