Sorry it took so long for me to review. You really are doing an excellent job with this story--hell you're excellent with all your stories. I know writer's block has you down but you always put out sheer brilliance so don't worry. Thanks for the update because I really needed a break to just chill and relax.
P.S. You know that recent post that had the comments turned off (over on Redemption)? I was SO excited that I could translate what the poster said to romanji and that I actually knew what it meant! This was gorgeous. I love this story, and I was thrilled to see you updated it. InuYasha's innocence is so endearing, and Kagome's realization of her own feelings (and subsequence admittance of them to him) slapped a huge grin on my face. I can't wait to see her reaction to his proposal!

I'm so happy you liked the chapter. Getting it finished was like pulling teeth. I didn't really like it, and seriously thought it could have been better, but I won't complain. At least it made it to print! I think the next one will f ow easier for me now that I'm getting back into the swing of things. Course, that swing would happen when ED stuff is about to launch. >.< I don't care, though. I want to do a lot of fic-killing this summer, so I'm going to step it up!

I don't give loads of details (they're coming), but InuYasha's life has been so complicated, and for the most part, sad, that it really feels nice to write fluff with kagome just because you want to see something good happen for him. Ooooooooooo, now I reeeeallllllly want to know what happens next. How will she respond to his question? What will happen with the hunters, and so on? MAN! I love your work!
You know what I can't help but think of when I read this. Two things. First I think of Beauty and the beast, because Inuyasha and Kagome just have that typical 'who could ever learn to love a beast?' characterization. Then the second one, I think of Tarzan (I'm not really refering to Disney's versions on this), because he grew up in the wilderness, separated from humanity, is one with the forest and animals, and he tries to win the heart of a girl with the ways of the animal kingdom. And you know, it's a very good idea for them. Heck if circumstances were different, I think it's a more logical way for Inuyasha's personality, given the years he had being alone.
Anyway, I'm still loving every minute of this, and I am anxious to know what happens next. But take your time all the same, and don't stop you creativity.

SQUEEEEEEEEE!! Oh my God, this has to be the cutest chapter EVER! I loved the part with the star being his mother. It reminds me of the adorable little firefly and 'Evangeline' in "The Princess and the Frog." The studying and their simple, innocent love is so precious, too.
Now I'm thinking of Tarzan >.>
But I can't wait to read what happens next! I hope she goes along with his mate suggestion, even though a lot of thinking and probably Doc Hiro + wife might come into play, and the hunters will be back soon. Hmm...Lupin reminds me of someone, but him being w/ humans makes me not soo sure, but it'll be interesting to read how things get shaken up (by this good?bad?questionable hunter, maybe).
I loved it. InuKag were so cute, especially when Kagome realized her feelings. Such a beautifully written/sweet chapter!

I've been tooling with this chapter for days and my writer's block kinda shows. I don't know. I kinda liked it, but I didn't feel good about my flow. I wanted it to be longer, too, but I was already heading into that dangerous territory where I start re-writing everything (I had done it twice already), so I said, stop on the cliff and leave it there. lol. The plan now is to do the same with the neighbor, cause this isn't one story block, it's complete block across the board. >.<
