Title: Their Landslide.

In all the years of my reading fan fiction, none have ever made me cry. Your last three paragraphs changed all that.

Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Author's Response: That's really humbling to know. :-) Thank you very much!

Title: Their Landslide.

You've done it again, blood be my heart.  I am seriously in love with the way you capture the passion on both sides of the story - it really makes me feel empathetic to both Inuyasha and Kagome; however a little moreso with Inuyasha, Kagome came off a bit like a spoiled brat at some points.

Another amazing job done on your part.  Again, I anxioustly await the next chapter.  (=

- Claire.

Author's Response: Thanks Claire! I appreciate your reading and commenting on the latest chappie. I'm inclined to agree with you. I feel badly for Kagome, but worse for Yasha. He's been through a lot more than people give him credit for at times and I think it was time for Kagome to take some of the responsibility. ^_^

Title: Their Landslide.

Well I read this chapter over again and I can't help but really feel for Kagome ...all I know was if I was in her position I would have left... I mean sure Kagome had shut him out but still no one had told Inuyasha to go to a bar and drink...he had other alternatives... and I just hate how kagome had to be the one to beg him to come back...but you know what ...when kagome had went and scream out her fustrastions maybe that was good relief...it does help cleanse the soul...hmmm well this is how feel about the chapter but I will still wait for the update  ^.^

Author's Response: I can understand that, but to me, love, real love, isn't just leaving when things get bad. He didn't have to drink, but sometimes people need a momentary way to drown the pain and they make bad choices. Kagome, in my opinion, should have begged him to come home just as he has begged her, and not just when he cheated but ever since the last miscarriage. He has stood by her, no matter what, and I think one mistake, especially when he's shown nothing but love before and after, is worthy of a second chance. A lot of guys would have dumped her after that last miscarriage and the things she did to him. But he stayed, and that, for me anyway, is reason enough to forgive. So even though we differ in opinion, I'm still glad you're following the story. I appreciate it. ^^

That was so... tragic, sorrowful, gut wrenching... and so beautiful above all. The song fit it perfect Onna. It really did. Am still wiping my eyes, lol.

Author's Response: Onna!! I'm so happy you liked it. I knew you'd like the song -we're always on the same page with music. Now no tearing up, ya hear?! *hugzzz*

Ack. My throat is all tight and icky. You made my eyes sting, too =( I really loved this chapter, it was fucking painful, but it was awesome. I would have killed you if you broke them apart. Seriously ._.

You're doing so good with this, and I'm happy that you've found an outlet to get rid of that block. Even if you don't feel like writing anything else, this story is far from great - it's one of the best, and you should be proud of yourself for that.

You really go straight to the jugular with this one ><

Author's Response: Aww, I made your eyes sting?! Whoa! Now that's saying something, ne? This was such a fun chap to write. I loved the turmoil. I especially loved the way InuYasha finally had enough. Aaah, it was a real "feel good" moment -haha. I do plan to work on others; I actually am right now, but I really want to wrap this up in a few days so I can have it under my belt. Jugular >.> I like that. ^_^

WOW!  This chapter put tears into my eyes!  I FUCKING love this story so far!  I also love the song!  I can remember Stevie Nicks talking about it in an interview one time. It's about a woman who is aging and stuff. Thank you, KiKi!

Author's Response: Christal!! Thanks so much! I'm happy you're enjoying it. I am as well, hence the fast updates. There's only a couple of chappies left, so I'll be sad to see it go. But it was a great journey!

Title: Their Landslide.

That was beautiful Kiki! I loved the whole chapter; it was magnificently done! *Hugs*

I’m so glad that you added Miroku and Sango into the story more. It’s good to sometimes have those two fight it out. Though Miroku should have toned down the yelling since he has to consider Sango’s stress level with their child. But it’s good for him to get his point across.

Poor InuYasha, I could just hear his heart breaking when Kagome screamed that she hates him over and over again. It’s great that Kagome was willing to give them another chance. It would just hurt them both if they were to get a divorce. I hope that Jaden doesn’t become a mute from what Kagome’s said to him.

It’s good the way it is if you do a lemon or not. It’s best to keep Chibi in mind when doing this story. A romantic story would probably be for the best though.

Anyways, great chapter and keep up the excellent work!

Author's Response: Thanks, Nat! *hugs* that makes me happy. I always think of you when I add Miroku and sango, so I knew you'd like seeing them again. And don't worry, they'll be around some more. ^^ I wanted to keep their situation real. They get caught up, but at the end of the day, they leave it at the door.

Yasha, that was hard to write, yet it was easy too. I could imagine how fed up he was, but I could still see Kagome's POV, so I wanted to balance it out. We're almost done with this story, can you believe it? Thanks for the review!

Author's Response: Kitten Claws! Thanks for the review, hun, and I'm glad you like it. This chap started out mild, but by the end, I just angst'd it to the tenth power, lol. I don't know, but that's my element more than anything else. But at least it worked out at the end, right? ^_^

Title: Their Landslide.

GREAT chapter.  I've already re-read the end of it FOUR times.  I loved the whole thing.  From the angst that started in the beginning and went pretty much through the whole darned thing (LOL) ....to the long-awaited start to Kagome's bonding with Jaden at the end.  There truly is a limit to how much pain a person can take, no matter how much he/she loves you.  And Kagome FINALLY reached her limit with Inuyasha.   YES, he made the worst mistake a husband could make and YES, there is a living, breathing representation of that crime.  But, at some point, if you truly love your husband and want to save your marriage, you have to LET It GO.  And, unfortunately, since there is a little boy involved, time was not really a luxury that she really had.

So, even though it was AWFUL (and Inuyasha's reaction nearly broke your heart), ironically, hearing Kagome say that she hated him was just what the doctor ordered.  Because it put things in perspective.....for both of them.  It forced Kagome to see that she was on a path that was leading to her TRULY  losing Inuyasha, not to another woman but to her OWN selfishness (EXTREMELY ironic, considering the situation).  I loved how you reversed their roles here, because up to now, all she could see were his crimes against her.  She had forgotten that she had commited her own crimes against HIM.  She had shut Inuyasha out the night that he slept with Kikyo, wallowing in her own pain instead of sharing it with her husband, and, just as importantly, not allowing him to share his pain with her.  So, in a way, she shared some of the responsibility for Inuyasha's mistake.  His wife had abandoned him when he needed her most.  Because, he was sentenced to a childless life as much as she since he loved her so much; obviously, she didn't notice. And, for a year after that, she put the man through hell for something that wasn't at all his fault.  So, yes, she definitiely was no angel.  And it was good to see her realize that here.

When she got on her knees in the rain, they finally came full circle.  And when she finally saw Jaden for the innocent child he was, instead of just a painful piece of sin come to life,  she truly showed how much she loved her husband.  So, now that the air is clear, maybe they can FINALLY be happy.  I hope so.  Because you have sent these poor folks through the tortures of the damned, girl, LOL.  TERRIFIC story.

Oh, one more thing.  Both Miroku and Sango were great here, too.  They are definitely good at telling the story from both sides.  And both are really good friends to Kagome and Inuyasha.

Author's Response: Miss Goddess! As usual, I love your reviews and you caught all the fine print!! yesh, the limit was reached and InuYasha finally realized that he had to start looking out for himself and his son. See, even throughout it all, he was still putting Kagome first, before himself and Jay-Jay. But sitting in that crappy hotel room with her last words made him wake up in a sense. He hated the thought of leaving, but he just couldn't stay with things as they were.

And she got on her knees! I thought it was very fitting and definitely full circle. She needed to know how it felt to be on the verge of losing everything, and it worked! InuYasha screwed up, but he's completely devoted and that's more than some guys who have never played around can say.

The end was my favorite, too! I love how she finally picked Jaden up. That was actually her first time touching him voluntarily -huge step for her. And I agree, Miroku and Sango are gold in this one. They really should be lawyers, lol.

Title: Their Landslide.

You can't even know how much I loved this chapter. So I'll tell you. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CHAPTER, AND YOU TOO!!!

I was soooooooooooo ready to drop kick Kagome for calling poor Jaden "the boy," and Sango too for her misery loves company attitude. I do agree with Sango that Kagome should have acknowledge all of her feelings early on, and that she needed to do so in order to heal, but to be that much of a bitch for two whole weeks because she was too stuck on herself to move on was dead wrong. To ignore Jaden and purposely give Yash false hope when she knew she did not want to make an effort to be a family was wrong, and I was about to hijack your story and make myself a character so I could knock her teeth out.

But after she was forced to drop the victim card and look at herself hope and peace entered my body I overcame my violent impulses. I was pleased to see the tables turn and Kagome get on her knees for Yash because it seems like she never really went out of her way for him. For their realtionship to work both parties have to be about the other, loving, supporting, and forgiving. I can't wait to see the home they build together for Jaden. I'm so excited for love!!!

And how amazing is Miroku? I absolutely adore him in this story. In the anime and manga he is sometimes a pain in the ass know it all who I think contributes to the degradation of Yash, but in here he is a great friend and man. I want a friend like that for both me and my future husband!!

Author's Response: Oh, girl, I was waiting for your review, lol. I was like >.> she's gonna love this one --and I was right! Squee! "I was about to hijack your story and make myself a character so I could knock her teeth out."

ROFLMAO! That was funny as fuck!!! But you know me, I favor InuYasha when I write so I had to let get his due. Kagome had it coming, seriously. She came home wanting to try; she was sincere, but found that she couldn't do it. So while I felt bad for her, it just wasn't fair to InuYasha and he finally reached his limit. Kags needed the wake up call, that's for sure. *Pours the bubbly* A toast, girl, to love! ^^ And Miroku is excellent -I love him in this. I've never felt as close to his character than I have in this story.

AMAZING!!!! omg, this story is off the freaking charts (whatever the hell that means :) ) I'm so loving every minute of it, and I lenjoy how you encorporated the hesitancy on Kagome's part before she came back to Jaden and Inuaysha.

There really is more angst and meaning behind this story than many others that I've read and truthfully I'm starting to get attached to it!  I don't have knowledge of what's it's like no being able to produce a child for someone you love, or the strong emotions involved with infidelity, but this is so well written that you feel like you are there with them trying to make it work out every step of the way.  I don't know any other writer who can pull this off except for you.  So you should be really really proud of yourself for this story and all the other works you've done.

Until the next chap Kiki!

<3<3<3<3

Author's Response: Paw Print!! We're off the charts! :P Always a good thing! ^^ Thanks for enjoy E.A. so much -it really is a labor of love for me. I wanted to tell this kind of story for a long time, and it just fitperfectly with my chibi-nee-chan's birthday. The true plus was hearing how much you guys have enjoyed it. I haven't had such a free hand with angst in a while, so I'm just drowning in it for as long as I can! But thanks so much for the kind words *hugs <3333* It really inspires me to make more!

If she truly loves him she has to forgive him. Now it her turn to try to make there marriage work. Question, will Kikyo make a apperance again? Till next chapter stay frosty :)

After everything I've done today to stop crying, you made me almost start again! It was this line that almost broke the dam:

"K-Kagome, baby, get up." The ground was fine for him; it was where he belonged, but not her, not his queen.

Two sentences and whoa.  It says so much about Inuyasha and how much he loves Kagome.

Well, I don't really know what else to say because the chapter speaks for itself! Beautiful chapter. sad, but beautiful.

Happy Writing. :)

Author's Response: Tina!!! Why were you crying?! Who do I have to kill???? Grr. But I'm happy you liked the chappie. It was sooo emotional -I was drained after I finished, but it was a good drained. :P Angst is love -haha.

Whoa.......

The classic paradox of emotion. Deny and ignore the pain or dig it all up and suffer through it. Neither way is without its pain and hardships, it seems. And now that Miroku didn't know about Kagome's paternity problems, his stance makes more sense.

Is this the final chapter?

Author's Response: Yes, emotions so profound they almost cancel each other out -gotta love that. :P Nope, not the last chappie. We have a couple of more before we bit this goodbye. I'm trying to close it out at 10 chaps -nice round number. perfect for a short story, I think.

Title: There's no "I" in "We".

well Literary Goddess!! Another Brillant chapter that is delicious! I read the chapter and then I had to go and think about it. I was sobbing so much for everyone. The realisms you weave so Exquisitely are Fantasical!! The pain that everyone is going through. Though I did want to smack Sango around. Doesn't she realize that she would be hurting Kagome as much by having her stay and making her witness her's and Miroku's joy at having a baby, watching her belly swell -constantly reminding Kagome of what she can never have. Kind of a 'let's rub rock salt that was soaked in lemon and lime juice into the open wounds then leave it there.' inconsiderate thinking on Sango's behalf. I would like to see those two wake up to that thought and realize what they may have done to Kagome's soul/mind if they allow her to stay. I can definitely see Sango wanting to comfort and shelter Kagome but it would make it worse. Kagome would come to resent Sango and Miroku had she stayed with them.

I eagerly will await the next chapter!! and grip the edge of my seat!! You Totally Rock!!

And I Really Love it when stories make me think on the subject matter!! Kagome discovered an ugly part of herself when she shunned the poor innocent Jaden. And when he showed true acceptance for her and was just craving what he seems to really lack - a Mother's Love. This really makes one do some soul searching and I hope Kagome is too. Childern are more perceptive and more in tune to the emotions and auras of adults then most give them credit for. Jaden is going to feel the hate Kagome has for him. Inuyasha has done an amazing job accepting the fact and he is holding up as best he can. I enjoyed the comment about hindsight -nods head- so true. And the way he asked Kagome to be there and help him weather his storm was beautiful! He was able to put it to Kagome in ways she didn't think about or self-denial refused to think about. I think the Chapter Title said it all.

I cried when Kagome came back home then cried for Inuyasha when she held that guillotine over his head. I almost wished she had heard the heartbreaking comment Jaden said about Kagome being mad at him.

I have this awful feeling that line "Tell Inuyasha it's his turn now" will come back and like a Rabid fox attacking everything in it's path. It feels like there is more to it. More to Kikyou.

Author's Response: Nikkie!!! I'm so glad you liked this one, and you leave such awesome reviews. I must glomp you. *GLOMP!*rnI must admit that I love the emotions in this one. Very raw stuff, ugly unpleasant stuff, that you makes it almost impossible to side with anyone because each person is going through so much.

Jade is suffering the worst of it because Kagome isn't ready to accept him yet. She tries, but the pain still runs too deep, so there's that wedge. InuYasha is pretty bad off, too. He wants to make them both happy, but he has to realize that he can't. Kagome has to make that choice on her own. I'm writing the next one now and we'll see how they progress. I have to say that this has really become a favorite for me. Too bad it's a novella, and thus, will be short. :P
